They somehow keep their sanity normal despite going through all the hardships they face on a daily basis.
They never go too far or cross the line no matter how much their nemesis has caused them trauma, or in other words, they just keep their enemies at bay rather than just going off and killing them, even if said enemy has caused them numerous amounts of pain.

there are SO many more marvel references in Sonic you can probably make a whole series of videos like this...but I'll just do one here. There was an issue where Sonic was feeling sick so Tails made up a comic to cheer him up which was basically one of those Marvel Hostess Cake ads, specifically a Fantastic 4 parody (complete with several panels re-creating the theme song from the at the time current Fantastic 4 cartoon) where Robotnik was Galactus and they stopped him from devouring the world by spoiling his appetite with twinkies. It was followed up with Tails getting sick the next day and Sonic cheering him up with a Batman parody comic, so we got a Marvel AND DC crossover in one issue.
Silver is actually more based on future trunks from the dragon ball series to the point where it’s in his design documents

I once had a dream where Disney bought Sonic Team from SEGA and added Sonic to the main 616 Marvel Universe. They also had Marvel references in Sonic like the characters would mention events of known Marvel storylines. They also created an ongoing Stealth comic that’s in an alternate universe. Best dream I ever had and wish it could be true. Considering how much both franchises clearly respect each other, it’s surprising there hasn’t been an official crossover yet.

It always annoys me when people say that the Chaos Emeralds are like the Infinity Stones. The reason being that, each Infinity Stone dose something different from the other Infinity Stones. While the Chaos Emeralds don't do anything different from each other. To put it simply, it doesn't matter whether I have the blue or green emerald, but it does matter if I have the soul or reality stone.
Yeah, that is true, unless you have a connection to the Chaos Emeralds like Sonic, or be like Shadow.
But since Sonic SuperStars is coming out, they do now show the Chaos Emeralds each have their own ability giving to the user.

Nobody is talking about how the second sonic movie had so many references to spiderman, they even made fun of Andrew Garfield's recklessness in the spiderman movies by having sonic do the same thing and getting reprimanded and both being about how great power comes with great consequences.
Do one with DC properties in Sonic. A lot of concept used in Archie Comics were inspired by DC comics. There also a lot of Star Wars reference in the comics and even the game!
In the amazing Spider-Man 2 video game one of the lines Spidey says while swinging through the city is "I wonder what would've happened if I had been bitten by a hedgehog."
Very informative video. I didn't read a lot into the early era of Sonic comics (mostly late Archie and on) but these references went even further than I imagined.
Sonic loves to reference or be referenced by other franchises. I think for me the most interesting reference was in IDW, (Issue 44 I believe) where the Matrix of Leadership from Transformers is shown and Starline even says "There is more to you than meets the eye" to Belle.
There's also the Paramount reference where the Bumblebee movie tweeted about the Sonic 2 movie.
Wow, that's hilarious, I love spotting different references from other franchises, especially when the reference is clever.

It was about time someone talked about this!! For years I've constantly seen connections between these two properties! Hell, even Evan Stanley made this awesome piece of Sonic & Spider-Man on rooftops.
When I was a kid in the early days of the internet around the time Sonic X was first on TV, there was a web game called Spider-Hog. It was a basic platformer where you swung around a city. To this day I've not seen anyone mention it.

Disney and atlas also has a weird relationship, atlas made 2 photo booths, persona 5 has a full parody of Disneyland, but the best one is the fact Donald and mickey mouse is in smt 1, mickey had 2 knifes and Donald had a chainsaw, they even were drawn by Kazuma kaniko the original smt artist. But they were dummied out in fear of a lawsuit. But in pc 98 version their in there but different sprites.
Edit: turns out the official Donald and mickey art by Kazuma kaniko art is actually really good fanart my bad but it looks similar to his art. Turns out their unofficial names are demon duck and zombie mouse.

Funny thing, the Brazilian Voice Actor for Sonic is the same person who voices Cyclops on the movies, Reed Richards on the 2015 Fantastic Four movie AND Raimi's/Maguire's Spidey. He's also dubbing Charlie Day's Luigi on the new Mario Movie

You missed one. In the Sonic movie 2 while Sonic and Knuckles are fighting in front of the Master Emerald a certain theme plays. That theme was first used in Antman and the Wasp during the street chase where Antman rides a truck like a skateboard. Sonic movie and Antman and the Wasp are the only two movies to ever use this music track.
In Brazil, Sonic and Spider-Man (Toby Maguire) has the same voice actor, also, Boom Sonic in Brazil have the same voice as Robin (Teen Titans GO), same voice actor and same voice.
