Dylan Mijer Idk, that’s kinda a reach for me in my opinion. I’m a big fan of the Transformers franchise from the original cartoons and toys to the Michael Bay films, and I was expecting her to maybe at least reference about how she is like a chameleon-always adapting to the changing times of music and rap-just like how Transformers can take the form of vehicles they can find. She could’ve also done clever wordplay with Transformers being toys since that’s how they first started off; like a line about how the music industry “plays” her like a toy and transforms her image into the “bad guy.” Or she could’ve went straight to the character, Megatron, himself; a leader of the decepticons (Barbz) and a “bad” bitch.
Idk, I’m just underwhelmed that we got a mediocre summer bop and was unfortunately not served justice with this predictable, Nicki-Minaj-Cookie-Cutter music video and the horrible fire effects. She should’ve just held off Good Form from the Queen album and had that BOP as a lead single for this new era.

It's about what's currently selling. What I get annoyed with is why is it when nicki drops music and it's not hard rapping gutter lyrics people criticize her but in the same breathe shake they head at artist who are doing nothing but the bare minimum. It's like you can't just want to expect something more from one person and then stay mute for another artist if your gonna criticize keep it consistent that's all I'm saying.
