This was the best review overall because you were the only one to speak about the app functions I was looking for all over UA-cam. Just subscribed and from now on I know where to come for a full review thing
very interesting you need to do an update as promised. A how to balancing and explanation of controls would be helpful. Thank you..Great job on your videos
Great review. Loved it. I'm sold on this. It has all the functions I need and like you don't need a touch screen. After all, I would only use a few functions on the gimbal, mainly follow mode and some pan and tilt. Great to find another reviewer from London.
Tbh I don’t know what is the correct way but over the years I had so many gimbals until balancing is like a second nature to me. All my video since this review is with my cannon EOSr attached to the SCORP c and balanced exactly the same way, works out well for me. It will never be perfectly balanced as sometimes I have the flip out screen on the side and when zoomed in the lens extend out front but the motors are strong enough to overcome minor imbalance like that. Hope that helps
Thanks for the video bro, at around 20:30, you do a 360 around that mower. Can you tell me what settings you have the gimbal on to do that? I'm trying to do that exact shot with this gimbal and i cant get the camera to stay still. Is it on Pan and tilt?
Gimbal held upside down to get the low angle, default mode on which locks tilts and rotate. Walk circular around the mower keeping camera pointing at it.
That only happens to me when the camera is not balanced and it could not initiate calibration on start up. Use your finger tip to balance the camera and start the gimbal and see if it start up?
I'm having this problem. It boots but nearly immediately drops its head and goes into sleep mode. I have the camera well balanced and all three axis' locks open. On the struggle bus. Helpful video to see meanwhile, thank you.
It worked well until I upgraded to the latest version. I kept the box from new and sold it to a local who is really happy with it since. I may not be the best person to ask for battery life experience as 90% of the time it will be on tripod but with motors engaged. The latest model has a built in camera/sensor, hand gestures activate follow me mode is great for solo content creator like me 🙏. Thanks for watching
My model works well when I hold with my hands, but starts vibrating when is laid on the table or standing on the tripod (it is accurately balanced). Any idea? Thanks
@@lucatomas Unfortunately, my gimbal also has vibrations. I balanced it carefully, unfortunately the vibrations are still felt even when I set the strength of all three motors to 1.
Great Video! Thanks. Do you think there's a way I can mount a smart phone on this ? I only have a samsung galaxy S20 Ultra. And I love this Gimbal. Thanks
Auto calibration gives you a workable setup in a matter of seconds. Different camera/lens combinations call for different motor settings. A Sony A7c with a Samyang 20mm f2.8 will need different power settings than an A7Riv with a Sony 24-105mm f4 G. Without auto calibration, every time you changed cameras/lenses, you'd have to go into the menus and fiddle with the settings. The time you save may mean getting the shot before the light goes.
hi, i have a question do you have an issue at selfie mode from the trigger button, cause i hace that issues, when i tap 3 time to enter selfie mode t takes like 5 sec, and when i tap 3 time again to exit selfie mode sometime ther's no respons
Hi there! Very good review! I have two questions: 1.: can you turn it upside down, and use is while it hangs (for close to the ground shots) 2.: which is the max hight that a camera could have, while working with the gimbal? (i would use a small microphone on my canon m6)
Yes you can hold the gimbal upside down and it will work for low shots. There is around 14cm to 15cm between the base plate to the top of the arm when hanging upside down.
@@BCreviews Oh well... I will be waiting for that review. I am considering between the two. Both are strong (for m50 or m6 and a small ef m lens) and the same price. Can you make a comment or include in some way a comparism? ( i cannot find for the love of god a comparism between the two)
@@danielkovacs1172 First use and review for the mini with my Sony ZV1 will be out in a few minutes :) I have the R50 to play with this month so will be using the mini for that. So far I find both gimbal behave very much the same, for smaller camera and use outdoor I would choose the mini for sure due to the size as the C is a giant.
Hi, just received this same model today, really nice. I cannot figure out how to make this record by pushing the red button on the handle. I connected the cable from my USB-C to the bottom USB-C. I cannot get that to do anything. You can change the camera by connecting the cable to one of the bottom USB-C's. I do love that feature.. Do you know how to make it record using the red button on the handle?

Hey Benson, Got my FeiyuTech Scorp one however, my camera is EOS 6D, my problem is the connector/ cable from the camera to the gimbal. Is there any way?
My set up is balanced well so not much stress on the motor. I have zoom lens and flip screen and if I change any thing inc zoom I balance the camera again

Possible, I only balance it how I use it with other gimbals, didn’t even read the instructions manual. Good thing is that the motor is strong with good tolerance and will overcome slight off balance etc. I built my own gimbal a few years back and understand the basic mechanics of it. My EOSR stays on it permanently now, it is my tripod stand even when I am filming in my studio on my bench as tripod head
Great, I watch this video to get a better understanding of the initial set up especially with the camera only to see you speed up that process and explain nothing!
So sorry for that, I skipped it partly because there are already step by step guide from the manufacturer web site. My video was really my experience of using interesting gadgets and not a technical know how. Thanks for your support 🙏
@@BCreviews I understand that, I was looking for something more descriptive than the manufacturer's video. Their angles were poor and one of the locks mentioned was behind another part. Oh well I had to go back and use it. It just took more time than it should have. IMO
Thank you for watching my video and I am sorry that I could not show you everything I did with the gimbal. There are lots of tutorials and instructions video online teaching how to use this gimbal including the official channel from the manufacturer etc. I could have used my go pro to record how I used it in my garden but as I am an amateur UA-camr I managed to mess up that recording 😂. Thanks for a very informative and useful unboxing of the FeiyuTech gimbal.
Pretty sure you are supposed to balance it with the tripod attachment, not the extending legs.
