Ha! Smiles with the miles! I’ve said that for years. My first car was a 1970 Datsun 240z….as a young Navy Sailor in 1975, I was in heaven. Now many years later, I own a Jeep TJ, a Porsche, and my 2020 Tacoma. Every one of my vehicles make me smile and look forward to “taking them out”….so you are on the spot. If your vehicle makes you smile….it is the right car! And who among us today, can’t use an excuse to smile! BTW…..beautiful car, amigo!

Older models are obviously used, means worn suspension worn brakes worn seats worn everything. You basically don’t know if they took really good care of it. Whereas a newer model one has for obvious reason. all new parts
you're gonna want a 2015+, I got my 09 last month and that oil cooler is absolute garbage and I cant wait to change it.

Idc who wants to talk shit about these cars , the fact that you can pick one up in a broad range of years with low mileage for the low price- theyre an absolute gem and very fun to drive. Kind of like a new classic, but not in a bad way. Plus RWD with a 6sp manual and a viscuous LSD is like a unicorn now and these are gorgeous cars
I am from Dijon, France. Born there. All my family is from france. I drive a 2015 Nissan 370Z NISMO. I wanted an r34vspec..But i will be patient as I have not only the 2015 Nismo, i have the 2002 Mustang GT Conv and the Nissan Juke Nismo RS. The Juke Nismo. In Denver, lots of snow. A Nismo Z..A NismoRS..so far so good.did Damaged the RS..Driving on snow is challenging

The Z may be old. Interior is old. Not much has changed. It’s no comparison to these camaros and mustangs today because they have more horsepower and better technology. Back in 2009, yes the 370Z was very capable of competing. The Z gives you more of a handling and driver focused car. By all means it’s still a very quick car for it being more than 10 years old. It has a very good power to weight ratio. I still prefer driving a Z than a Camaro or Mustang because it’s a rare, beautiful car. I’ll go on long road trips and I see mustangs, chargers, challengers and camaros everywhere. As where the Z I’ll almost never see any.
That's what I love about mine. You rarely see them out in the wild and that makes them kinda unique and special.
Bought a new 2021 but not the Nismo. Still very happy !

John Doe I had to really think about this answer, I don’t know why it’s so hard to answer lol. First off, I think the truck looks ugly. I think it looks like a garbage container on wheels haha. Even while trying to have an open mind about the design, I still can’t manage to look at it and say, “that thing looks good”, it’s like I’d have to force it. However, the thing has amazing specs! I love the specs. And that’s like the only thing good thing I can say about it. Specs are good, ugly design. Now would I buy one?... maybe. Only if I had money lying around that I didn’t know where to put into and if I’d want to have a vehicle that I know would attract attention! Otherwise I’d want to wait for other manufactures to come up with something. I think I’d rather buy the Rivian truck. I think that truck looks freaking amazing, and the specs are good. I think Tesla over stepped here. They wanted to think outside of the box bought and thought a little too far lol. I also think that if they made the design a little more “our time” they would have had a ton more sales.

The car is great.....the biggest drawback is the price.....I would never spend the over 40K asking price for a new one BUT I would definitely buy a newly used one for thousands cheaper......

Nice review but Alcantara is not leather, it is synthetic suede. Nissan sucks at updating their old designs. This car is 12 years old already with no real updates.

I don’t own a nismo but did own 07 hr , to everyone who says they the same from 09-22 totally wrong the technology changes so much in the Z from 16and up I’m looking into trading my c7 for a nismo I miss the Z life

“Pretty good storage there” DUDE I lost it. I have a 2014 and it’s still the same. And no it doesn’t fit my purse. I still remember my ex telling me this doesn’t even fit your purse in there. I told him no but there’s plenty of space in there for your virginity. He was so mad and starting going off about his hell cat. Ahh you can hold the steering wheel in a straight line that’s cute. Anyway was just looking to see if I should upgrade. I swear I can only date men that aren’t into cars.

Hmm That's interesting but think about it the Dodge Challenger weighs about 4000 pounds and that car is way bigger then the z haha I have own 2 370z and the one I own now is a nismo

I think this is a cool car but that interior just kills it for me. It is just to dated for me, if they updated the gauges and the interior I would hop on it instantly.
I wasn’t too happy with it either before I ever drove it, however after I actually got in he car, sat and drove it, it wasn’t half bad!
@@AlexKorobov Oh ya I've heard that the driving experience is amazing. Just for that price brand new, I can get a mustang GT with the updated interior. Though you do lose some of the driving focused-ness of the 370z.

Blake Skills I’d say go for it. I was really surprised after driving this thing, super punchy throttle, and a very good reliability record. You might want to consider waiting till the next model comes out, should be soon, I think it’ll be up at 400hp then and lighter.
@Alpha Maximus yeah some of the older base models are around that, the 2018+ are around 3400, probably added sound damping. My 2016 nismo is low 3300's lbs. I fell off my chair when he said 3900..... no where near that amount
