- Silent film from my personal collection. Brief, but nice scenes of two PSA 1st gen B-727s, including N970PS. Great 1960s fashions, too! Be sure to check my channel for the best in VINTAGE & RARE airliner videos!

Classic Boeing 727da psa 🙌🙌🙌
Delivered new to PSA on April 5, 1965.
133rd Boeing 727 off the line.
Yessiree! I remember my first airplane ride, on a PSA 727 from San Diego to Sacramento in 1969.
Back then they set down in LA in between.
Aviation golden age
Great home movie upload. Thanks. Collected PSA timetables as a kid.
You didn't! :-) (Actually, I had a few myself.)
Thank-you so very much for sharing this video. I LOVE how the ladies used to dress and do their hair back then. In fact, I really miss so many things from the 1960's, because those were the times in which I grew, and my greatest threat in life was "being taken to the wood shed" by dad. However, I do remember those boarding lines. If I was the passenger, I could not wait to get inside the aircraft. If I was the one who remained behind, I couldn't wait until the other person boarded. Those were also the days when good-byes took FOREVER, and for the duration from the last hug until just stepping inside the aircraft, there was 15 minutes of waving good-bye and catching kisses blown from mom. How embarrassing!
Thank-you so much again. These videos return memories to me about things I had not thought of for years.
People dressed so much better in those days when travelling compared to today. I lived in San DIego during the 70's and 80's. I flew PSA a number of times and the tickets were generally very affordable. Then on Sep 25 1978 PSA 182 from Sacramento to San DIego, crashed in the North Park neighborhood just a few blocks from my Apt. A midair collision with a small plane. The crash killed everyone onboard and 7 people I believe on the ground. I don't think things were ever the same for PSA again, and the airline industry was changing. Eventually PSA merged with American AIrlines and the end of PSA. It was a great airline though.
They dressed better because they had more money.
Clássico Boeing 727da psa 🙌🙌🇧🇷
Great movie... lovely ⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤ 👍
Ahh, the Poor Sailor's Airline. 727s and Electras out of San Diego in my dress blues.
Awesome video of PSA!
The greatest pilot in the world flew for PSA: Captain Albert Bowen.
The other greatest pilot in the world also flew for them - Captain Mike Bogle.
The greatest PSA captain sadly perished in September 1978
Captain James E McFeron
I can imagine these people looking at how people dress on planes today, they would be so concerned😭😭
Lindo vídeo
Essa eo Boeing 727da psa que colidiu com um outro avião e caiu en San Diego?
Where in California was this video taken? San Diego?
I think so.
great video.. Those "were" the good Ole days of aviation.
@@mcdonnell220 yes San Diego you can see the hanger where the Spirit of st. Louis was constructed
Great, thank you.
This is some of the last action from the old Pacific Hwy terminal. What is now Terminal 1 opened in 1967 (without jetbridges), and this place housed the FBO until it got torn out in the 2000's
