Ok so this entire video was unscripted on purpose because I didn't want to sound too high and mighty, this is not my season review.
I just wanted to give the top of my head pre-thoughts on the event much like I did with Hell's Chicken and some opinions on Uptie 4.
What do you all think of both of em?

i understand why people are getting angry at the costs but i haven't spent a single cent in the game and i have almost every ID and EGO and most of them are uptie 3 + like 8 are uptie 4 right now
The game is highly f2p friendly I don't even understand I bought the pass cause it was a great deal but id be doing fine without it either way

its precedence,if uptie V exists itls be more expensive and cost more egoshards+the purpose of the shards are to get ids and ego adding another purpose makes the resource more scarce and makes people have to spend it more carefully or be p2p
I just don't want to spend more times grinding in a day.
Limbus is already f2p and time friendly, but with the recent update it's more of a timesink for non f2p players.

the real problem with uptie 4 is that it's used to fix super underwhelming IDs to make them fun while having next to no impact on already good IDs, so if you are a fan of W Meursault for example, you are gonna need to put in WAY MORE resources just to put him on the same level as some other IDs.
I mostly agree on this but there are definitely standouts that can't be ignored like tingtang hong lu getting good upgrades for some reason even though he was already pretty good without them while other already well performing 000s didn't get much(which is totally fine, they did chef ryoshu dirty tho) and in worse cases ids like butcher gregor and blade lineage outis who do need upgrades in their kit got nothing meaningful from their upties and still underperform with said upgrades, worst case we had was talisman sinclair's before the most recent patch, UT4 actively hurt his already bad viability.

The reason why I said the good IDs got no impactful changes was to mostly drive home that uptie 4 feels less like progression and more like a patch/rework that you are forced to work for to make the bad/mediocre IDs better, while the already good IDs can just sit on uptie 3 and still be powerful. so yes, while Ting Tang Hong Lu is way better at uptie 4 than 3, you can still keep him at 3 if you want and he'd still be good, the same however can't be said about the weaker Ids like chef Greg or W Meursault, which just feels wrong and unfair to those who like them or don't have any other options. like imagine the poor sod who was hyped for uptie 4 for his Poise team only to learn they need to spend 30-50 ego shards and 100-150 thread on each member just to make them less bad
@@dumbino7745 @dumbino7745 dw you didn't say anything wrong, I still fully agree with you I just really wanted to point out the fact that one of the best ids since launch somehow benefitted more from UT4 than some ids that desperately needed said benefits and probably to a higher degree than what tingtang hong lu got, what irks me about all this is you're pretty much scamming yourself if you UT4 any of the units that got nothing truly substantial out of it, with the 2 ids of my previous comment getting the brunt of it all
Which btw I find incredibly peculiar for blade lineage outis because as you've mentioned, the majority of the poise ids did get the buffs they needed from UT4 to make their kits work, hell her blade lineage peers even got some coin power buffs but for some reason they just kinda left blade outis in the dust? idk why they did that and the best guess I have is its because of her other ids being pretty good including her base but even that's a flimsy reason to me.
GFL did the same to about 50 of their 300+ characters and got praised for it, and their requirements were much higher to upgrade. Upwards of 2k Neural Fragments when you can only gain about an average of 90 for most of the game until you get to late-game
It's not about fixing, but giving players more options and I welcome it wholeheartedly because now I can use the Liu gang, KK and BL without having to sacrifice my efficiency
I’ve always disagreed with you on this but I think it’s totally fine for the side events to be light hearted. I do agree the main canto sections should have more serious story telling but I’m fine with a few jokes here and there.
And the light hearted adventures have their fans, like you and I respect that fully.
I'm merely speaking on behalf of people who prefer the edgier side of PM, I have my eyes set forward for the halloween event though.

@@DinoDave935mean I think Limbus is serious but they are serious while understanding that they need to take breaks from the serious gritty stuff, imagine if we had Canto 1, no Canto 2 into Canto 3, no Canto 3.5 into Canto 4, just depression, depression, depression with a bit of light only coming in the resolution of Canto 3 and 4, yea that gets emotionally draining and repetitive, but instead of that they know to sprinkle in some serious parts mixed with some more lightheartedness for example Canto 2, but these events is where they get to actually go full lighthearted and show light in the city for example Canto 3.5, and heck this is just a speculation on where this summer event will truly be just light hearted all the way or will have some serious moments in it, because just like Canto 3 setting up Samjo and N-corp for canto 4, Canto 5 is supposed to be Ishmaels Canto, so it is likely the summer event could be used to help set things up like last time. Anyway my main point is, there is enough serious/ dark cause when it is serious and dark, they don't hold back. Don't think I have seen a gacha that has this high of death count only 4 chapters in. This is just my opinion though.
@@DinoDave935 when Don loses her mask is when you'll have your edgy moment: she's the best candidate because Don, at several times over the main story, broke character through nonchalant sighs at the Casino, revealing a remarkable part of her past through beating the crap out of Sinclair, and taking a step to stop her troublesome antics and forcing herself to be considerate into what she is doing for the sanity of her allies and Vergilius.
I personally just claimed and pointed to her transformation, and ideally, she has one of the highest potential for being an edgy char with a story that's even more edgier.
The story of Don Quixote is obviously the mirror of Limbus' Don Quixote, and that's why I believe this to be the case because the real story of Don Quixote; that character is absolutely unyielding to reality checks, but Limbus Don is vulnerable to that.
In Korea, games that were even remotely associated with that movement tended to crash and burn. It might seem stupid, yes, but a lot of people are very upset about this.

Hopefully they add a better method of Shard box/thread farming. It's not sustainable on modules to do EXP lux, Thread lux, and MD2, and the rewards are mediocre.
Shards are fine, they are easily to obtain. Thread is the crux of the issue
I'm around level 180 in the battle pass, and I don't mind doing non-weekly mirror dungeons for EGO shards, but it's definitely a problem that there aren't enough thread or EGO shards when it comes to grinding.
I'm a good boy, I do my dailies, I do my weeklies, I do my mirror dungeons. I get all my chores done for Kim Ji-hoon. And I appreciate how a small company like Project Moon is compensating us all so quickly and so generously for their even tiny mistakes, but I feel as if they miss the point in the first place.
I'd much rather be compensated with less grinding and more engaging activities to earn more EGO shards than a quick $14.99 10-Pull I get the same 00 dupes on if I'm lucky that effectively amount to 54-ish EGO shards if I'm lucky enough to get two 00 Identities. Only being able to do one Hard Mirror dungeon per week is a problem not because I can't get ungodly amounts of Battle Pass points every day, but because it's not an activity I can consistently do to earn EGO shards or thread.
I currently am only missing K. Corp Hong Lu and R. Corp Meursault and I strive to get every Identity and EGO in the game, but I feel as if Project Moon is releasing too many identities instead of releasing content I can consistently do. That's why Hell's Chicken and the upcoming Beach event having *earnable* IDs and EGO as opposed to ones you roll is an amazing break to me, as it is an intervallo chapter that I can earn things on without falling behind on rolls, IDs, and EGO because I didn't waste my entire paycheck on Limbus Company.
On the topic of Yi Sang's ideality, I think it should be 50 instead of 200. *26000* Lunacy is insane, both to earn and to buy and I think 50 or even 60 would seriously help with getting these Identities, especially considering how 5 or 6 ten pulls is already a *LOT* and how there isn't enough time to do 50-60 daily single pulls to just cheese it for a tenth of the price. 6500 Lunacy for a 000 Identity/EGO is still a lot but would seriously help with the economy of IDs and EGO. (and my wallet) Even if it were 60 pulls, 7800 Lunacy is much better than 26,000.
I have LOVED Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina, and I love Limbus Company. Everything about it, to me at least, is PERFECT. Down to the last detail and the PM-verse is immaculate. I don't think my word is final here, but that's how I feel about the gacha system and pulls, as I feel like the Identities shouldn't be as plentiful as they are compared to content both story and grinding-wise. (after dailies and 1 mirror dungeon without weekly bonus, it stops being fun for at least the day.) Especially considering there are some characters that are far favored over others. I think it should be a rotation for 000 Identities and random for 00 identities. (Not invalidating the strength of 00 Identities though. Seven Ryoshu having a 19 AND 18 is fucking busted.)

Personally I'm a fan of the constant ID's because I derive my fun from Editing Videos for Limbus ID's, not actually playing the game which I get puts me in the serious minority.
But yeah I do agree that the story content, or even just playable content feels oddly sparce and needs some more... I don't wanna play replayability but I guess that's the best word here.

THE GAME IS ALMOST FREE-TO-PLAY, I literally have all 000 IDs, and I only spent money to get two of them, I got the rest just by playing, and they are crying due to the UT4? The cringiest part of all of this is the numerous Steam-Reviews saying "Oh my god I can't believe I spent money on this game, and I will never do it again, the true Yi-Sang would be disappointed", JESUS CHRIST, DO SOME RESEARCH.
The Game doesn't give you a Fanservice? Bruh... im glad i play this game because its not a Waifu bait, its because the characters design are COOL and Awesome. And they Deliver with Boatworks Ishmael. As a fan of both Ishmael and Bioshock, im soo hyped to get her ID
Right, too many ppl are hyper-horny. Swimsuits and trunks are alright, but if you are hyperfocused on skin and sexual fan-service (coomer designs), that lust and horniness is all-consuming.

I’m a huge fan of Ishmael, as she is my favorite Sinner out of the 12. I won’t complain about having another identity, especially when last season she got literally nothing and I find Sloshing Ish to be disappointing as an identity, but I will admit the amount of identities she’s getting is a little excessive. I like boatworks, it’s a perfect fit for her, and she’s getting another one in chapter 5, but after that identity she needs to have a drought for a time, and Faust and Outis needs some of this attention especially, and maybe some more Gregor as well.
Recent tweet from LC : we are aware of the situation and decided to fire the artist; they will no longer be working with us from canto 5 because they have violated the "company rules". Their story illustration will remain, but their main UI illustrations will be altered in the near future.
The company rule, according to the PM director's statement, is not to show any connections between controversial statement from personal SNS and the PM company itself.
Personally, the rule itself is sorta understandable cause cancel culture is so big in Korea, but firing the artist is bs because ppl basically dug up the data that the illustrator deleted.

There's a lot of misinformation floating around so take things with a grain of salt. Including what I'm about to say.
To my understanding, this kind of thing is a really big deal in Korea. Like, they had people going to their office to "complain" about it. Supposedly some people showed up in Reverb Ensemble Suits (a reference to a group of villains from LoR) and death threats were passed out. PM was basically left between either trying to weather the storm of people review bombing them, literally coming to the office to verbally (perhaps physically) attack them, and business going down. Or they could fire the artist, make an apologetic statement and then try and go back to business.
Keep in mind that the executive behind Mihoyo (the company behind Genshin Impact) was almost killed by someone breaking into their HQ with a knife. Mihoyo is based in China, not Korea but if I knew that was an option I wouldn't be brave enough to stand there either

I’ve actually enjoyed limbus’s story. The city is a place that is hard to live in, but it’s not impossible. Limbus shows how people live in the city, and that even though it sucks you can still live in it. The characters do suffer, it’s just not as front and center as it is in the other works. It’s not perfect, but limbus got a lot of my friends to even try and see if they like the project moon ip. I think limbus has been pretty swell, and a good change in tone. Not saying that I don’t enjoy the edgier parts of pm, I do, but I think this was the best outcome

You *don't need* uptie 4. You *don't need* Threadspin 4. It's a *luxury*
Most IDs received *nothing* . Why? Because you don't *need* to get them. Not because PM wants you to spend shit ton of resources on nothing to make you pay; it's because PM hints to players "Hey, *maybe* you shouldn't uptie already strong IDs that receive nothing and focus on weaker ones that you like the look of, you know, so they get some love too".
"Wait until Railways diffculty" lol. Lmao, even. Yes, Railway will be absolutely unbeatable unless you get 3 more ammo for RHeath or 2 more burn on N Sinclair, absolutely. Lmao. And most IDs are like that, they didn't receive shit. And those that did, just came to be decent, not overpowered. So no matter what the difficulty is, uptie 4 won't change anything, because it already didn't change anything. Meaning that uptie 3 is still the maximum you need for beating content.
What *is* dumb is that Base IDs and EGO didn't get buffed to 4, which is an argument most people brush off for some reason. Base ID and EGO bonuses from Uptie 4 are negligible at best, and do absolutely nothing, yet they didn't autoupgrade them? Weird.
"EGO's cost 400 each and then you have to spend 100 more", no you don't. It's actually that simple: just don't.
"It's so much grinding, and for what?" For nothing. Because there's no reason to grind. People *really* home in on the point that "it's so expensive!!", when nothing forces you to do it. Just because a button exists, it doesn't have to be pressed. Shrimple as that.

I do think having to pay for base uptie 4 is stupid, but I purposefully avoided mentioning it because the only fair counter is that "you don't have to roll for shards and you can get em from boxes", which is and of itself a flawed arguement also because that still means that you have to grind MDs which is kinda tough with base ID's (however I used to exclusively do my MD1 runs with only base ID's because I felt like it so it's not thatttt tough)
Look it's a huge can of worms that I think might deserve it's own video all together
And I wanna make it clear that this entire video I'm playing devil's advocate for actual Limbus players, I myself only ever touch the game to get footage and even then I just borrow the ID I need from a friend's company.
If you can and want to use same ids that were meta for last few months, but for at least half of ids it's a balance change gated behind 100-150 thread and a few dozen shards because it's a gavha and pm can't rebalance unit
And they can't balance them right the first time
I think some of the anger could also be that certain IDs that were trash becomes good when you upgrade them to uptie 4. It is essentially grinding for a balance change. Would be great if the devs actually buff weaker IDs by changing them directly instead of using upties as a way to buff weaker IDs.

From what I can tell though, I assume you are talking about the fact that Uptie 4 is a balancing patch and that using meta IDs over and over again is boring.
First point - yes it is a balancing patch. One that like 10 IDs in the game need, which most of those received. And those balances did not make them *good* Again, think about it for more than a second; how does W Meursaults, WFaust, Blade Lineage Yi Sang and Sinclair, Kurokumo Rodion buffs with uptie 4 change in the difficulty of the game? Nothing. Nothing changes, at all. Meaning it's, yet fucking again, I said it already, a *luxury* you can get for things you like. A thing you *can* get, but don't *need* to get. I swear, if I have to repeat this same thing one more time, I will actually lose it.
About using meta IDs: you can beat the everything with 00 only(good ones, like Remnant Faust, 7 Faust or Shi Don), because they aren't that much behind in power compared to meta 000, so what's your point?
@@goldenzed6455 That would have been nice, agreed, but I am personally fine with Uptie 4 being a way to balance things out. At least with that, endgame players have a long-term goal to strife for(upgrading everything they like) and a resource sink to put their excess thread and shards into, instead of just stockpiling on them for no reason. If they just made a balance patch and Uptie 4 then turned into a necessary power booster for IDs, cost problem would have became an actual problem instead of what it is now.
I can see how Project Moon sticking to their schedule of only releasing announcements on Friday and Monday for when they address any problems with the game is causing some people to feel upset. I think they should definitely try to address bigger issues sooner, instead of waiting as it can cause frustration from fans.
Good points on the Uptie 4 costs. The future is hard grinding unless PM decides to have better grinding stages. The fanservice controversy is just stupid. Its on character for Project Moon and the City to NOT have fanservice. By fanservice, I meant swimsuits (bikini, etc.).

I was so relieved when I realized that we weren't just getting swimsuit ID's
Now I'm only talking about ID's here, the story could still be a fanservice filled cringy romp, but only time will tell.
@@DinoDave935 I personally feel that Swimsuits (not Ishmael's Diving Suit) is an "easy way out" for most gachas. Its like "Here's swimsuits, look at your fave character's boobies and a generic summer story that may or may not match the rest of the game's story."

I'm definitely planning to uptie the favourites, and just them. I'm not a completionist, hell, i'm not even aiming to HAVE every identity. The set i have now is already enough to challenge content, and i'm having fun with it - not having one more poise count per atack isn't destroying an already perfect Yi Sang. I'll uptie to 4 ony what's absolutely needed to ideallize the comp i'm going for at the time, and one MD per day is enough to satisfy it.
My biggest problem with Uptie 4 is the thread. Having to keep your shards on top of needing a ton of thread is making it impossible for me to get anyone to Uptie 4. The thread luxcavation doesn't give you nearly enough to be worth the modules it costs either. We need a way better method of grinding thread
I personally really like the lighthearted, stupid moments of Lumbus. I think people tend to forget that the previous two games were from the perspective of incredibly competent people who were trying to save the world (or I guess destroy it in Angela's case), while Limbus is just a bunch of minimum-wage idiots crammed on a bus together, being lead by someone who doesn't even remember what a fixer is and has no information on what the goal of the company they work for even is.
Review bombing Project Moon of all things is ridiculous. Yes, the new uptie system sucks, the dungeons don’t give enough resources with all the new things, but PM actually listens and makes changes in accordance. While it usually takes a bit, they still listen. Hadn’t seen devs like this in a while, but I feel like given the time, they can balance things out.
As for the Ishmael thing, that’s just silly. Wetsuit Ishmael hot.

Im a Korean male gamer, and Im gonna help you guys know about this happenning. Before understanding the situation of this bad result(firing the main artist of this game) you guys need to know what Korean people are thinking. The artist of this game has an issue as a member of a community which is called ‘Megal’ (it is a group of specific Korean girls and its name has quoted ‘Megalia’). It seems nothing wrong with it, but in Korean socity the community has a bad reputation (try searching for Megalia). What is known is that the people in the group basically make Korean men digusted quite intentionally by many reason. (Such as they are saying Korean men are potential offenders like rapers, for worst example I saw). And also Project Moon already has informed its employees of not making any disorder issue toward Korean society (They said it officially long ago). But even if she deleted her own track of Twitter, Korean people found out she is a quite part of Megal(surprisingly somehow). Since then many male gamers left bad reviews of this game, beside many female (members of Megal I suppose) left good reviews of this game. This bad event happend since July 24th. Project Moon recognized this conflict (they said it) and might guessed this would damage their own impression (my personal thought). So the firm decided not to make any work with the artist after 4.5 chapter, because of her overruling (They announce it officially). The thing is... Uptie 4s for the most part seem to be just kind of an okay boost rather than like something you -HAVE- to get
the uptie 3s are still monsters in terms of damage, you can tear through MD2HM with them no problem... I do think Uptie 4 is overpriced but seriously people have some perspective
the fact the base IDs / EGOs didn't get uptied automatically is.. weird and that's the part I personally don't like. I like that the higher tier IDs and EGOs cost more to uptie because it's like... well you can make them absolutely ridiculously strong but also investing in 00s is still worth doing, especially with the Mirror Dungeon Hard Mode having the Cost for using 000s that I personally think is a really good feature (I am generally a fan of MD2HM)
I do think that even with the pass if they're going to make Uptie 4 cost shards which personally I just think it should be thread stick with the pattern and all that then there needs to be a better way to get shards, the fact you can only do one MD2HM per week and then that's like your lot for crates (it's a decent amount, via the excess pass levels, far more than you would get from the first mirror dungeon) if you aren't expecting me to spend 50 shards on every 000 ID I use which to be fair again, the game doesn't seem to be expecting you to do, Tier 3 is still great) and 100 on Fluid Sac.. aka my most used EGO... it's a lot
all I can hope for with the event is that the story is -fine- (I think chapter 4 slapped HARD but I thought chapter 3 slapped HARD and then hell's chicken was mid at best story wise) and that they don't make you do as much grinding as Hell's Chicken like dear god that was not a fun experience
(though I entirely get where you're coming from with the Limbus making the City seem like a place you could live thing! Limbus is definitely way more jokey and takes itself far less seriously than the rest of projectmoon's works, and I'm not a fan of that either, but I feel like Limbus at its best aka Chapter 3 and late Chapter 4 is at least as good as Ruina at its worse storytelling wise and to me at least, that's still pretty high)
Limbus cut down on that factor I think for more mass-market appeal which I can't blame them for but I'm also allowed to be annoyed at
So uh I guess my take is the uptie cost isn't great but not worth being so angry about, the artist controversy is like.. whatever. and I'm like, of course we're not getting fanservice summer skins projectmoon are -trying- to have integrity and stick to their worldbuilding (mostly). being ANYWHERE in a swimsuit in the city is going to get you killed. The diving suit ish is the closest and that's justifyable since... it's a diving suit. for diving. and also probably reinforced with some fabric like that stuff the reverb ensamble's getup is made of in Ruina. I am almost 100% certain the people getting mad about the lack of fanservice are people who came to Limbus because they wanted another Gacha, not because they actually care at all.
For the sort of like where I'm at here I am someone who completes every Luxcavation daily, aims to collect all the IDs / EGOs by the end of the season (though I don't think that's going to happen) and bought the pass but haven't spent on anything beyond that

My gripe with uptie 4 is that frequently it doesn’t actually fix the issues with an identity
I think the reasoning behind base id's not getting auto uptied is that, by the time canto 4 starts the average player will likelly already have, at least, one 000 id (the guaranteed one for new players) and several 00 ids so it really dosen't affect much. Kinda sucks though because i do like the idea of using base id's through the story.
okay seems like a lot more stuff is going on with the artist thing but... I'm just gonna lay low until I can find out what's actually going on rather than drama exaggerations
My take with Uptie 4 are these:
1. Base IDs and EGOs should get a free Uptie 4, makes no sense that they're not when most of their upgrades are minimal and negligible at best.
2. The Cost for Uptie 4 Upgrades are fine BUT Shard and Threads aquisition should be raised to compensate. I don't doubt this will be addressed in the future so i don't need to worry as much.
3. Some Uptie 4 upgrades like "Aggro" should be given either as Baseline or at Uptie 3. Locking them to Uptie 4 is a bit much me thinks. Especially from what i could tell, Tanking in Focused fights will be more involved than ever and having them accessible early would be good.
But overall my reception towards Uptie 4 are Very Positive.
Made a lot of Bad IDs into Decent and good IDs and not a necessity for already good ones.
Am still laughing at Red Sheet Sinclair Uptie 4 tho, its hilarious and i am glad they are fixing it
The other thing i ought to mention is that MD2, MD2Hard and Uptie 4 are VERY big updates
This should not be a surprise that some things slipped under the radar. Cut them some slack
IMO, they should either hire more people for QA or extend the patch cycle from 1 patch per week to 1 patch per 10 days for extra polishing works. Extra 3 days of waiting should be fine

Weird, I tought the only issue was the triviality of the Uptie 4, not the cost, like yeah it's expensive but it's meant to be a powerful upgrade, however it made night to no change to 90% of the ID's and E.G.O. and that's the problem.
Altough the AoE upgrades are kinda justified, not for boss fights but general content it's still nice.
Also, the community being mad about fanservice means that this isn't the community PM has been working with this entire time, people have been to Ruina and L Corp., they never needed any fanservice to be a good game, and imo I don't think Limbus needs it either, the appeal is on this dystopian post-apocalyptic world, not some women with big boobs, like c'mon, there's so many other games with fanservice, you don't need that in Limbus, if you want boobs go to Epic7 or smth, they just got Lethe, that's fanservice, somewhat too much for my taste, but you do you!
They took the L of Limbus Company a bit too much. Game pretty much gave you the chance to get a lot of 000 identities for free with just effort. When normal gachas don't and all you can rely on is the gacha currency and luck on pulling. Since they don't have things like having a STEADY (always available most of the time) supply of something (egoshards) that you can use to buy said 000 identities.
Most that other gachas can do is either let you buy four stars or make you do months of effort just for 1 five/six star character
I get that this may be fair, but I personally avoid comparing Limbus to other Gachas because that doesn't forgive Limbus for what it does, only ignores the issues to make it look like a nicer person when surrounded by it's scummier brethren.
I guess that's also true. But then again it's still better that it started off as something like a free to play friendly instead of instantly starting off as a merciless gacha game with low chances and hard pity.
So it just varies between what issues or details people want to focus on.

They can't make that, because paid pass doubles the amount of funi boxes from the free pass and therefore increasing the amount of crates gained this way would lead to md2 giving 9 boxes from the free pass and 18 from the paid

I've done the math before on how many resources you can get in a week just from dailies and weeklies. To spare flooding this comment with extra numbers, the short version is that a F2P at the end of the battle pass can get a 000 identity from T3 to T4 in about a week if they do three daily Luxcavations on manual and can clear MD2 Hard. They'll need to do about 3 extra MD2 normal runs to compensate for shards otherwise. A player with a paid BP can get about two 000s from T3 to T4 in a week under the same circumstances. Both of them will have a harder time getting a HE to T4 in a week though, with the paid player only making it due to having more shards to make thread. This isn't an ideal situation for people who are trying to shard for new units or get every unit to T4.
My personal thoughts on the matter are "They definitely need a new Luxcavation tier." and "Uptie 4's mileage can vary, so grinding for it doesn't feel necessary."
A lot of T4s are just "+1 on skill or coin power," or "make the debuff stack a little bigger", or "give the EGO AoE but not much else besides". R Corp Heathcliff is begging you *not* to get him to T4, because the biggest change he gets is +3 Ammo. On the other hand, R Corp Ish becomes much more useful with extra charge gain, lower charge requirement for Mind Whip and a more useful passive. The better EGOs like Faust's Fluid Sac and Hong Lu's Dimension Shredder are still better than EGOs like Don's Fluid Sac when compared at T4. Some things just get more mileage out of Uptie 4, so I don't feel it's necessary to get everything to that level.
Honestly, I don't really want to elaborate about this situation because I'm tired of it already, I disagree with the Uptie 4, and think the MD2 Hard Mode should be rebalanced, besides that, hunting down for tweets of someone who was 16 years old, and still DELETED those tweets is just disgusting, the "Lack of sexualization" on Ishmael is just a bunch of nonsense coming from a bunch of dudes who haven't seen or touched a woman in years, that's it.
Hope that PM take a step back on their decision, contract the artist again and apologize for the whole situation, and start to rely on the legal authorities to those kr coomers who are threatening them.

I have to say is that people can be and will be impatient and not see things through and to me the uptie 4 is fair but also unfair but bc we still have a “level 30” luxcavation so either we will get it for this coming event or later when we’re done with chapter 5 (or idk bc doesn’t say anything in the roadmap) but I can wait and see what they do, as I always waited for a new Ruina video before and now I wait for what Limbus is in store for each chapter. Also can people not just enjoy the game for what it is and not more what some people think of a “Gacha” game is, revealing more skin, more damage than what’s better, meta defining the most good and least thing you can think of and just read the story since this is what Limbus and PM is, a visual novel, with a ragtag of misfits and other things that’s question our view on life, also with a challenges of dungeons since they also wants us to use a brains abit more

PM can listen and can see, so if something didn't work before, now there is a good chance that it will, or the problem will be fixed much faster.

Only gripe with current updates and such is that theres no new outis ids they have probably some of if not the least ids currently and the only tier 3 is average to mediocer at best I saved 400 shards hard earned shards so I better get something for it
Outis and Faust are the only 2 without ID's this season but I am willing to bet that Zwei Faust is just around the corner and something else for Outis soon too

Also highkey. Didn’t MD2 come out like a week before UT4? If PM still has like 30 employees, a week between MD2H and making UT4 for 109 IDs/EGOs is certainly not a lot? And even if they were working on them before, perfecting those changes while bug fixing MD2H would have been a lot. It’s literally been like 5 days after UT4, and for a game that updates on a mostly weekly basis I think it’s weird to assume that none of this is going to be worked on in the new update? The uptie 4 costs are pretty ridiculous if you want to uptie 4 everyone, but after thinking a while, I believe the UT4 costs could be lowered a bit but they're... ok. PMoon needs a return on investment in the game some way and without paid content-gates and an extremely generous gacha/dusting system, resources might be one of the only other avenues other than the battle pass to incentivize actually paying money for the game. And honestly if you've been following the game for a while, MD2Hard should give you enough shards to start UT4'ing and stuff. Would be nice to see a slight decrease in costs though.

Sorry for the off topic, but why you didn't enjoy the storytelling of chapter 4? I think the chapter have flaws, and I don't like the ending, but i found the worldbuilding in this chapter more clear than others chapters. And Yi Sang story was fascinating
Well I have only played the first 12 nodes so again, take my opinions as someone who has not yet finished it. But it was just... Boring so far, from the forced dialogue about MDs and the railway to The fake out explanation of the golden boughs at the beginning, I was fit to quit already. But then I got to K corp and they introduced the Blue Exorcist OCs, Chicken man, glasses man and drawn from memory hod (sorry I can't remember their names) and I just quit there and then because I knew they were just gonna be killed for shock value and/or one of them would distort.
I'm sure it gets better but I'll burn through it one night while I'm binging One Piece

Word of advice, _don't_ try to binge canto 4 all in one go. It has waaaaaay more filler nodes compared to other cantos which means the combat will get boring fast, especially with the more spongy enemies like the machines.
Imo get to 4-48 in the first binge, then clear the rest in another day

TL;DR: Sometimes I hug my pillow and imagine I'm talking to Faust for hours. I feel an inhuman sense of relation to this character I've projected my emotion and love onto due to my own fear and lack of companionship. The idea that I might have someone I could love in the way I love this fictional character is all that has kept me going and it's a horrible horrible reason that's perverted by my own selfish wants. I don't deserve someone like that and given what I've seen so far i don't think I'll ever find someone like that. My mental state has deteriorated over the past several years and my perception of reality is warped to the point where she literally feels real to me, her soft sweater and her warm embrace feels so real which gave me both fear and comfort. Sometimes I listen to her voice saying: "There there don't you worry my lovely little boy, mama Faust is here for you" while feeling her hands and sweater wrapped around me and I weep pathetically into her tummy whimpering and begging for cuddles. On June 11th, 2024, I'm going to take my medications and finally be removed from this schizophrenic hell that i'm slowly being sucked into.

I honestly don't understand the anger at the costs of uptie 4. Like, the character literally only need 3 materials (Threads, shards, and exp) for their full potential, of course the cost would raise higher each upgrade. Meanwhile, other gacha games has how many materials? Which also exclusively for each class and purpose? Not to mentions new materials for new characters so you can't even farm beforehand?
I swear, some of the uptie 4 complaints has existed *healthy* in other gacha games and no one cares about it.
Personally, i have no qualms with the uptie costs, in fact the costs make it an important decision per player, and it makes the friend support function more usable and diverse.
The problem imo, is its how it was introduced.
Let's not sugarcoat it, uptie 4 exists to fix problems with ID kits that are subpar compared to others(W faust & W Meursault). That's perfectly fine, actually, in-fact FGO haa the same thing in the form as rank-up-quests.
As you know, not all uptie 4 upgrades are created equally. Some ID's and E.G.O don't even need em.
Instead of introducing uptie4 to everyone at once, they should've periodically released them over time.
Maybe upon completion of Chapter4, unlock uptie 4 for the base sinners and only Yi Sang's E.G.O.
For the gacha IDs, maybe roll them out in between new IDs. Eg: One week we get new IDs and for the next week we get uptie 4 for W corp units and a rate up banner at the same time.
This would've given people more time to prepare shards and thread for new units or upties. The rateup would help those willing to spend to get specific shards.
Maybe in this way, we'd get more interesting uptie upgrades instead of just +2 burns and +2 atk weight.
That said, I can see why they released it the way they did. People are def still gonna whine about some units not getting uptie 4, even if they don't need it. It's a lose-lose no matter what they did.

@@arianosekai8394 Yeah, there are ~320 crates in free BP, compared to ~40 we got previous season. Those ~280 are the crates we would have received from MD during the entire season.
None of the shard boxes went anywhere, every nomiable ego shard crate you could had gotten from doing your weeklies every week were moved to the free section of the battle pass. This actually means that you have more shards than if they didn’t, because mirror dungeons give WAY more battle pass exp now and because of that, you get your nomiable crates earlier and you get more bonus crates.

I don't understand your point on the light hearted stuff tbh. The thing is that we are focusing on nests now rarher than backstreets. Lobcorp focused on the deepest part of the corporation which are always shit. Ruina focused on streets people and the main characters can be seen as the main bad guys.
Limbus we are getting that along with nest stuff. It's normal that nest life is light-hearted given the fact that those in the backstreet with all of it's shittery are paying/suffering for the beauty of nest

Two is the game small issue that pile up and reach the breaking point at heathcliff ego/uptied 4. Imo base should be free and for the other ID funny enough most people I talk(mostly discord) to doesn't have problem with shard spent but rather because of thread. The thread excavation is so bad if you have time to grind you better off farming shard and concert it.
I feel like the cost for ID are all fair. BUT ego on the other hand feel abit off and a little overprice.

The submarine nerf/buff while I think that some unit deserve it and they do mention reworking the offensive/defensive lvl. They should be more clear and gave full list of change before actually go throught with it (personally I don't mind but some people are annoyed).

I personally havent got to play limbus(due to not have a pc and i have a outdated phone) but from looking at the cost of shards me and my fiends agreed that 000 id's shoud cost less to optain than ego due to them being higher chances to be optained than Miracle%.
The uptying sould cost less to optain quicker but cost enough to warent to grind for them. For the ego side i can't give an opinon becase i don't know the buffs for them from uptying.
Swimsuit id's tho... Take a look into the backstreets and ask that queston again
I think that limbus goes too far in the bs singularity shit, to the point where it's comedic, while not showing us enough of the daily struggle actually faced in the world.
The city is a place where people do live and it's a place where people suffer, but at no point do we see that suffering in action.
We don't get to see people trying their hardest only to be rail roaded into a job they don't enjoy to just barely get by day to day.
What about yuri? The g corp veterans? J corp gang violence? People starving to death? Lawless thugs found in almost every chapter? Entire towns being forsaken by their wing?

@@chaineddepths9523 I'd say we got a good amount of insight into the things the g corp vets go through in the canto I dungeon with greg's flashbacks, the story is just overall heavily focused on the sinners and we dont get as much for the side characters who will be killed off anyway, even less so for random civilians. LoR was heavily focused on the city itself so we got way more of that in there, seeing all those people actually go through their day before every fight and stuff.
This is going to be long and equally as unfocused.
Now I understand the general dislike of uptie 4 and I do think it needed discussion. While i'm fine with the cost I think the main sin PM said when they made it was that it was expected and then showed the cost.
Now I'm not the most f2p, but I went like 4 months not spending money and getting everythung, so i think thats fine but 150 thread and 50 shards for at times is basically +2 burn or something is a bit no it just flat is ridiculous. Sure some IDs get MASSIVE glowups (R-Ish, W-sault, BL as a whole) that justify the cost or make then decent (Shi-health for example now needing 50% like the rest and getting an AOE S3 is pretty good), but most aren't that.
Let's not talk about how Tailsmen Sinclair is an actual kick in the nuts and being asked to pay for it(I know you dont like Sinclair, but we can both agree making a unit worse for paying for it is bad.)
I've done Limbus good and have consistently done dailies and weeklies, and mirror dungeons, but it sucks that it's so much to get the thread needed for at times barely an upgrade. I Know they aren't needed and I'm fine with that, but if an ID comes out with an uptie 4 I do want then back to the mines with me, not for fun(even if I do like mirror dungeon 2) but for profit.
This wasnt abproblem review bombing it would fix. I don't understand why this was the route we went when PM listens to the community on these things, and all it does is make us look ebtitled as all hell.

Its just an incredibly shitty respone to a situation that should've been discussed. I know most uptie 4 isnt needed, but its still going to ruffle some feathers. Especially because PM said it was going to be taken into account going forward. That makes IDs sound like they need them instead of just more "you like this character heres a small upgrade"
I forgot to mention that Kurokumo Hong Lu also apparently gets objectively worse after you uptie him, good point with the sinclair one.
And look man, idk who thought giving Ish the SKINTIGHT RUBBER SUIT wasn't fanservice, but it totally is.
(Also props to you for remembering how much I hate Sinclair, the only reason I didn't include it as a gag in this video is because it's a very of the top of my head one and I couldn't make a joke out of it like if I was writing a script lol)

I'm not blind to faults in any of PM's works, but you've gone out of your way to make really cool videos for 11/12 sinners (Unless you did a Sinclair one and I missed it, but probably not) despite your dislike of the game, and honestly. I did have to check KK Hong Lu and not really. He just falls under not really worth untying since his S2 stays the same which is the whole thing about KK Hong Lu. His s1 and 3 better, so I don't see how he gets worse. (this is not a pissing contest for worst unit just.)
Also, I bring up the choker because I can at least play devils advocate with the amount of skin because Dino, and arguably Zulu since he's mostly exposed arms, from the Stray Dogs exist but everyone forgot them because Gyong-Ming is so memetic. I can't because that choker exists.

You can make a case a case for Boatclair exposing his chest because, unlike Boatmael which is a diver, he works on the beach, meaning he gets to deal with high temperatures on the daily which can get pretty uncorfortable. Not sure what's up with the choker tho.

Because all Identities are based on other characters/enemies that we already knew or fought (Dongbaek, Liu Fixers, W Corp Employees, Pierre and Jack etc). If you want a swimsuit E.G.O, we would need characters that for some reason spend all their time in swimsuits.
