I want to have a linear stick tension on the NX10. I like how loose and light you can adjust the tension on the DX9. Thats why i am still using the DX9.
Charging issues have been fixed ... But you guys honestly need to fix that servo bug where they' twitch every 10 seconds like clock work with certain receivers.... Makes the model useless....i read the old changelog and it had something to do with some of the recievers offered in hh's lineup they did suggest a fox for people with problems and that was to bind in dsm2 instead of dsmx.... Well that didn't work for me ..... So i cannot fly my brand now umx citation longitudede with my nx6!!!.... So beware if you have any of the NX family citation is def a no go..... Thank goodness i had an old dxe laying around...bound it right up to citation and had 3 nice flight today after having it for 2 weeks and losing my mind thought it was the receiver bought a new one the twitch was still there ..... Bought servos, did a reflash ok f currenr fw on nx and that's where i saw the reference to the bug i was experiencing..... Literally pulled ny hair out for a week n a half!
Nice tutorial, however, My List seems to be only working with Acro models. With any other model type, either newly created or imported from BNF model list, you can fill the My List presets, they will show up in the Function Bar and you can scroll through them, but nothing happens when you select one of the items. At least that's what is going on with my newly setup NX10. I have tried different Heli, Sailplane and Multi models, but none worked.
Hi Tom! I have a NX8 / AR8020T receiver. I would like to have altitude/vario and battery telemetry. What do I have to buy in order to have this information in my radio? Thanks!
Hi Luiz! Actually the AR8020T has a vario built in so all you need to do is setup the vario option in the telemetry menu. Battery wise you can use the included voltage wires, which is more of a diy situation because you need to splice them into your esc input. OR you could go with a Smart esc and get all that and more without any additional sensors.
@@SpektrumRCvideos Hi Tom! Vario is working. Altitude still not working! I connected receiver to battery and the voice keep saying battery capacity ( 11.1 volts) and 5 volts forever! Maybe is because it is not a smart battery…
what should be the advantage of the ticker tape? If I fill out all the functions and display each value for 2-3 seconds, 25-30 seconds will pass in the worst case until the required value is displayed. In this time a lot can happen in the air. Who looks so long on his radio? Can the ticker tape also be output by audio? Can e.g. a audiomessage be made if the target value deviates from the range.
You can setup audio warnings for that sort of function, the ticker tape I find helpful, personally, is when you are still getting ready to take off or when you land and you want to quickly review a few telemetry sensors.
With your tutorials, i now know how to use my NX10 better than i can fly! Hope thats a good thing! lol

How about a video about setting up and use of the GPS adapter to the NX radios. Can you set up a fence or return to home using the GPS unit?

I'm putting off buying an nx6 until the bugs are ironed out. Unfortunately lots of issues with charging looking on various forums.

Tom is there a way to make the ticker tape and My list global for all models?
Not at this time BUT you can accomplish this by creating a model template of your own that has the ticker tape options already setup. Hope that helps!

Would have been good to have mentioned about enabling the voice for some of the sensors like altitude and vario.
