- I decided to make a better video of the straight piped mustang GT, the camera does not even come close to how obnoxious or how it really sounds in real life, i did notice the camera couldn’t handle the volume a few times when i stepped on it you will notice this as it kinda goes quiet for a bit, I used my iPhone 11 Pro Max to do the video hope you enjoy 💯 and it really sounds good in real life
Recommend using headphones for best sound quality
The setup is pacesetter off-road x pipe and muffler delete done by a local shop
Thought I mention the x pipe will come missing two exhaust bungs for the oxygen sensor but you can get these done at an exhaust shop and they
take like 5 seconds to weld on

Even though I got 5.0 I gotta admit that the 4.6 3v sounds nasty

Hell yea, this sounds good. I want it loud and if sounds like this or better, ill be very happy. Currently trying to finish up a 3v swap in my 2010 v6. Pace setter shorty headers, pace setter offroad x pipe with muffler delete and 4x8 inch tips. Just gotta get the ECU, cluster, and keys flashed. Rest is done.

Haha yea this setup is raspy because of the x but the exhaust fumes are not as bad as people say they are, you’ll smell them every now and then or when you get into it lol but this is to be expected because of the cat delete , with windows up i barely notice

@@brandonoliphant6587 I have a Slp catted and it doesn’t work well with lower cars because how low they hang I only have a 1.5 inch drop all round and still the cats scrape going up driveways

Do you get a check engine light with this setup even if you have the oxygen sensor installed? Also do you have stock headers?
Yes you will get a check engine light even if you Have the sensors installed but there’s ways to not getting the light like getting a tune like I did with a hand held tuner to turn off the 02 sensors with a tune or you could try spark plug non foulers or you could try mil eliminators and yes I have stock headers

The front chin spoiler I believe is a “classic design concept front chin spoiler painted to match the car” and I added a eBay chin splitter below it with eBay splitter supporting rods

Used to have magnaflow muffers and kept the tips after the muffler delete which are 4 inch

Both, technically off-road x and muffler delete is straight pipe on this cars, no cats no mufflers

Ratchet and sockets ,long extensions, jack/jack stands, I have a lot of tools don’t remember the exact ones I used highly recommend spraying nut cracker or WD40 before removing anything

@@ThatBoyZevo don't install headers. They will decrease low end torque and create more heat. You only need headers if you are supercharging it & trying get north of 500 hp. Waste of money.

@@axelwhite4shfnnd858 oh ok so there’s supposed to be three 02 sensors, one before the cats on the passenger side and one on each side after the cats so you need to explain this to a muffler shop so they can install the missing ones if you plan to do it yourself

@@jerretfeltonjr41 fairly easy if you turn wrenches, it was missing two 02 bungs I believe I got those welded for $20 at a exhaust shop and put the x pipe on if you have the same one as mine, I think I put what exhaust bungs were missing on the description, I recommend some sort of lubricant or WD40 before taking off anything,
