@@SofieldLeather can you make a tutorial on it? My son is trying to find help for the hazmat test and when he passes he will be in and I want to make him and his deputy chief and chief one. And when you could make the tutorial so I can watch for it sometimes I don't get notifications it wouldn't even have to be the whole length just something for me to go by
Sorry I think I misunderstood. I don’t know how to make the whole holster out of paracord. Thought you meant the pc that goes over the radio.

Yeap. All you have to do is swap the my cord with the paracord. No difference in assembly.

Hey was wondering what kind of arbor press you use to stamp your leather in this build
I think I made a video on it. It’s a simple arbor press form harbor freight. Nothing special really.
@@SofieldLeather thanks harbor freight stopped carrying them it looks like any chance you know if you have a half ton or one ton press im thinking half should work

Do you not have to wet the Herman oak leather before stamping? I'll be using a hammer does that change anything
I don’t for the English Bridle. But yes for the vegetan.

I just built one of your adjustable diy radio rigs for my chief who's going full timer, and the way you set up your mic loop and end loops to be rebuilt is great! Now I'm building myself one and it's gonna be my first time trying to stamp and paint leather. I bought extra strapping to practice!

What arbor press are you using and what did you do to configure to take the letter tool heads?!
I grabbed whatever was there. I know they have a larger version. But this one is fine. I did nothing to the heads. As is out of the box. Hope this helps.
What are you using for backing material? Is it more leather and if so what thickness are you using?

Hey Bro, How come I'm not getting notifications when you post? this is 5 days ago and I'm just seeing it, anyhow question I don't own a sewing machine so if this is a stupid question you can face punch me! when changing out spool of thread "color change" why could you just clip the end of thread nearest spool that's on the machine, put on new spool and tie the end on spool to end you just cut, then go to needle end and pull the new color through, instant re-thread?

Hey! What two leathers are you using to build the strap? Are those details in the plans?
Should be in the video. 9 oz for the top and 5 oz in the back. Or about 14 oz total. Ie... 12 oz and 2-3 oz. or 8 oz and 6 oz. I prefer 9 and 5 because you can use the 9 oz for all the smaller attachment pieces. 👊🏼
