Maybe depending on the mission youre a lone fast cruiser, or a cruiser with a couple destroyers, or even a battleship with a whole fleet of 8 or 9 other ships
I'd love all sorts of games like this. I'd be totally happy with the Uboat model being used to make a dozen different simulator games. Playing as different types of ships patrolling the seas or taking part in missions, modern and historical. There is another game by the same developers that's very similar called Aircraft Carrier Survival. I haven't played it, and the reviews aren't as good, but hopefully they'll make more. There actually already is a game just like this, but it's more retro, smaller scale and blocky. It's effectively literally just Uboat but an RAF bomber crew instead, but I'd love to play that with Uboat style.

It depends on your taste. If you're interested in the Battle of the Atlantic, SH3 is your game. If you wanna try your hand at American Fleet Submarines in the Pacific, go for SH4. Just make sure to get the U-Boat add-on for the latter, as it comes with the final patch for the main game. This patch, aside from making the game a bit less buggy, will be necessary for some mods if that's your thing.
@@TonyChristy-dy7qv Oh shit, yeah I forgot to mention SH5. Just forget that one even exists honestly. I think you can get it to work as long as you buy it and activate it through Ubisoft Connect (It needed you to register or log in to Uplay back when it came out and still requires it despite that service being dead and replaced) but if you buy and try to run it through Steam its basically fucked forever. Aside from that it really doesn't offer much over SH3 with a mega mod installed except for the graphics, but those really aren't worth the headache. Like I said, just forget SH5 even exists.
U boats spent daylight hours submerged around the coast of the uk during this period , my father was in the Royal Navy during this time. I cannot understand why air patrols don’t catch you , doesn’t seem very realistic swanning about near the UK coastline in daylight .

Another fine episode!
Will say it isn't my favorite SubSim, but WOW has it improved from the early versions.
Really good game Wolf. Good graphics, gameplay, and of course narrative. Thanks bud!!!
Cause we got a little 'ole convoy
Sailin' through the night.
Yeah, we got a little 'ole convoy
Ain't she a beautiful sight?
C'mon and join our Convoy
Ain't nothin' gonna get in our wa... BOOM!
Always excited for a new Wolfpack video! Love the Uboat series!
I liked what i saw and wrote this for algorithm to keep this in top searches.
Love this format. Keep it up! I hope they upgrade your sub soon! (Then again I am commenting on this before the end of the video).
Love this content WP,
Good shooting with 2 eels so far from your little boat! Very effective🍻
Oh thank heavens, a new Wolfpack video! And Uboat at that!! Today is a good day.
Man I really wish they would rework the sound on that AA gun, haha. Sounds more like someone typing on an old typewriter than a 20mm.
Torpedo maintenance just before firing seems so strange
that had FTL vibes with the little side mission and the search team ;D
Beautiful Unterseeboot
Great Job. But I have a Problem with this boat. When I am diving it says that there is no Smutje (Cook) available. What I am doing wrong?
Just picked this up on sale. Cant wait to play it!
This really is the little canoe that could :D
Great to see another u-boat video from you.
Do the boats still surface slightly aft first? That always drove me nuts. Lol
Loving every second of youe uboat videos. Keep up the amazing job!
Always a good day when Wolfpack345 puts out another sub video!
Finally more U-Boat content ^w ^ yipii
How do u paint the u boat skin. I have changed my emblem but don't see option for boat paint.
Anyone know if they fixed the issue with the ports not having food supplies?
If that thing gets a hull breach your done as it doesn't have any compartments with watertight doors lol
Can you give us the mod you have installed to play, or wich mod are best to enhanced uboot ? Thanks
Btw I picked this one up today and was thinking about getting Silent Hunter also but which one does everyone suggest?
It depends on your taste. If you're interested in the Battle of the Atlantic, SH3 is your game. If you wanna try your hand at American Fleet Submarines in the Pacific, go for SH4. Just make sure to get the U-Boat add-on for the latter, as it comes with the final patch for the main game. This patch, aside from making the game a bit less buggy, will be necessary for some mods if that's your thing.
@@majorborngusfluunduch8694 I read somewhere to not even touch SH5 due to it no longer working? Or something to that effect
I love the gameplay and immersion with background story. Is this still Beta version of UBOAT?
Aaaah it feels like i was waiting forever for this next episode!
U boats spent daylight hours submerged around the coast of the uk during this period , my father was in the Royal Navy during this time.
I cannot understand why air patrols don’t catch you , doesn’t seem very realistic swanning about near the UK coastline in daylight .
more uboat videos please. ive been playing again because the new update is awesome.
The Admiralty is going to want to put you in a better boat soon.
OOH NICE! Love me some U-Boat!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep em coming!!!!
Seems a bit fiddley. If a captain has to ask twice for the depth under the keel your boat is in trouble.
So did the damaged freighter go down or are they still sailing by?
I have been enjoying the beta though, they’ve been pretty good with squishing bugs
Glad you’re back
Never played the game before pretty much a newbie how do you determine how much supplies to load? Don't want my crew starving to death👍
I just load up on as much food as I can hold. Take essnsial supply, the rest is food.
@@Wolfpack345 thanks gonna try my first mission
I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
In German, a "W" is pronounced as a "V", and a "V" is very soft, like a "F", so "Wilhelmshaven" is pronounced "Vill-helms-harfen" I believe. And yes, "Hartlepool" is pronounced "Hart-lee-pool". :)
hell yeah another U-boat video
Oh man, next one is gonna start off strong. Right off the bat engaging the same convoy again.
clean attack
Great show , like watching a movie !!
i'm thinking about buying this game but this TDC stuff is a bit to difficult for me i think..... is there also a target-lock function ????
Could you tell me please the version of the game you are running?
And you would expect for a sub to take a little more than 1 mag of 20mm AA to sink... :D
'she is exploding all over the place'
Awesome stuff as always.
Do the developers not know why watertight doors are put on submarines? I know this is a small dugout but I sincerely doubt it didn't have any going between compartments. Maybe I am wrong.🤔😁
What time compression do you use?
U4 is not a Handelsschiff. It hunts them!
Good video as always and keep up the good work ❤
Keep it up, your my best uboat player!
Is this the main version of the game? When I played it I didn't see u-4 or a lot of the features he has. If not how do I get access to it all?
there is hoping you can send those eles to sink more shipping and return to base victorious
Great video as always man, but make more war on the sea please 🥹👉👈
19:54 you do know if you did shoot the warship you'd have free control over all of the tankers and merchant ships and order them out of the ship / tell them to evacuate and then us the 20 mil to sink it
Is there any updates on when this version will get released and not just in beta or is it the standard Soon™? The game looks very much improved and I am looking forward to it. Great vid series Wolf
Wolf, so glad you uploaded. Had me worried for a bit
Thanks for another great video!
Do you like u-boat better than silent hunter now?
Awesome game.
I was waiting for the best content creator to post!
a 13000 tons tanker is every submariners wet dream
