Moving to the sticks has meant an enforced slowdown for us, but we're really enjoying that! You'll be out and about every night exploring cocktails & food! 🍸🥃
I’m excited to hear about all the wonderful changes ahead for you! (Even though I’m so sad you’re moving. 😭) Transitions are tough, but it sounds like it will be a great move for you in the long run. ❤
😂 Not the sales tax!! But no, totally understand. It’s a big change! How has selling been going for you? I’ve been thinking of trying to put some clothes up on poshmark (instead of donating and potentially landfill-int it), but I don’t know how successful that would be.
I bought a top at REI in Charleston once and returned it the next day when I saw the 9% sales tax! 😅 Selling has been okay. I only sell directly to Buffalo exchange and Platos closet, so it's a very small amount of money. I'd rather get a tiny amount and be done with it. I have a friend who sells on Poshmark, and she loves it. She recommended it to me. It takes some time to add the photos, measurements, as much information as possible to make it easily searched, and follow up on comments/requests.
i get what you mean just wearing to survive the commute. mine was survive the in office cold. i got so used to my north face jacket and jeans because I didn't want to bother with being cold and that's with me having a blanket at work. i used to work at a department store so before I left I bought clothes and shoes. I'm trying really hard for a no buy on those items. i also understand the more you socialize the more money you spend. and now that I lost my job its becoming a thought and also my lux buying has stopped.
All of the women in my office use blankets in the summer when the AC is blasting! I'll wear very simple clothes when I have to go in because it's freezing inside and swampy outside. I'd like to not buy any shoes for the remainder of the year because I know I don't need more.
@@traingirl.meghan yes! all girls are getting ready for winter summer lol. good luck on the no shoes. because I've noticed that moment you say no on x item, that's all the advertisements you get. I'm getting so many ads of cute clothes lol
@@lolipena8051 so true! I try to frame things as a yes instead of a no. Like instead of no shoes, it's yes to X number of dollars saved anytime I don't buy them lol. Anything helps!
Transitions are scary and exciting and fun. I love your outlook on the move and the inevitable evolution it will bring! ❤
Thank you April! ❤️

I'm going to make the most of it for the next few years, and then I think we'll slow down again. I'm so glad you're enjoying your new home 😊💕
Hi Meghan! I totally get that survival mode. Excited for you and Ben!
Thank you! It's going to be an adjustment, but we've made it through in the past, and this will be another adventure 😊

Thank you Lula! ❤️ I'll miss our coffee dates. I'll need an annual NJ-NY vacation!

@@traingirl.meghan oh. i like that, thank you.
I don’t envy you the moving process. I hate moving house!
It's the worst. I'm just glad we don't have to do the heavy lifting!
