Rushie....nice man. At least 1 workout a week I go back to the basics just like this vid.. basic bounce, basic Footwork, practicing accuracy, proper form, proper timing and striving for protection! 🤙
Nice tutorial... whether beginner or advance technique tutorial, you always make it a point to make it simple. good thing you're back to making videos!!!🎉🎉🎉 cheers to a happy married life and looking forward to more videos!!!
I am self taught and use the woosh, instead of clip of rope. As DJ and prefer the bass sound and dont like the way clip ands lag to rope and disturbs geometry of angular velocity. I feel the clipping is detrimental to double and trips tricks as well, but will try this tip and see if there is progression
Great video, Rushie S! Signed up to your Beginner Programme recent and picking up your tips. Friends have already said my skipping looks effortless! Mind you, I can only do the basic bounce and the running step, nothing else as I trip up if I deviate from the two variations. 😢
@@RushAthleticsTV Thanks for the encouragement! I’ve started to introduce the side swings into my routine but the rope keeps tangling which then causes me to trip. Any tips on how to stop this from happening?
Mayhe you have a video about this but I'm noticing as i get tired the loop at the top becomes unstable. I think i need to work on my wrist motion. Any drills to help that?
I love you man, I'm currently in the USA (I'm from the UK) and my Rush Athletics mat arrives tomorrow from Amazon. I'm watching you everyday and am jumping rope every day - I want to look cool when I jump (I'm a beginner essentially, and I'm 61 too :) ). Never too late to learn :). PS - can you do a video about your foot movements please? When I try jumping alternate feet I look like I'm jogging. When you do alternate feet it looks like you're planting both feet down, only one quickly after the other (does that make sense)?
Use them if your ready for pain and alot of getting used to and hurting Ur feel a ton and nails coming of I'd stick with shoes to be safe I always go barefoot even when I was a beginner had no big injuries few bruises but It could have gone bad wear some shoes I'd say

Can you make a video about durability and longer jumping times
