I would suggest drills combining punching and pushing and kicking. Perhaps modern sport style has discarded the punch but I feel powerful punches should still have a place in modern TKD. I know a really strong punch was a serious factor in the 80's when I fought lightweight as a 6 footer. Short guys powerful punches were not to be disregarded. (4th Dan trained since 1980).

Hi Adrian you mentioned in a video aggressive fighters are inexperienced but what if u have a fighter who can fight 2 styles aggressive and defensive as per the opponent’s style? I was taught to be able to fight both styles as this also allows u to control the fight and frustrates ur opponent 🤷🏻‍♂️I’ve never lost a fight . Thanks.

What I meant by that is fighters who only go forward. Of course you need to adapt and be good on attack and counter attack. Thank you!
