@@geetaprai3858 Regarding your question of /a/ and /e/ they are common issues faced by most phonics teachers. The best way is through examples. Just use lots and lots of CVC words that use the vowels e/a and have your child get used to the sound differences over time - no hurry, no stress... this will be the most beneficial.
thank you Jay. your channel have very helpful video playlists to teach kids at home i appreciate your efforts. my kid was unable to recognize b and d and sometimes he was writing backwards from right to left he is five yr old. i am encouraged after i watched your video i am really impressed. i have started teaching basics to him at home and he’s doing really good. 😇🙏

Hello Jay! When I had done with the 26 letter sounds, I was unsure of what to introduce. I'm unsure whether to begin blending with these 26 sounds or to introduce remaining sounds. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello sir, I am from Vietnam. Thank you so much for your amazing and usefull video. I would like to ask you that if the kids who is 7 years old , have just started to learn English for a week. Could she start to learn the sounds from now? Or should I teach her speaking and listenning first?
Begin now is best. I normally begin with 4 year old children. Speaking and listening is a different stream of knowledge and is equally important but can be done at the same time. Wait too long and it becomes very difficult to catch up.
One more question sir, Please help me! When I teach English for my kids. If I speak only English. They do not understand even I open music and show the picture and play some games. I ask them "How are you" everyday and show them the emoji face or dancing and singing. I can see they haven't got the meaning of the question. Should I translate English to Vietnam when I am teaching them. Or will I keep explain in English by action and music. ?
@@thientrangnguyen5146 when native english-speakers teach in foreign countries we do not have the option of translating into the first language. the teacher is expected to come up with strategies and techniques to overcome this problem as you are already doing, using images, songs, flashcards, and regular, consistent routines. Having said that, there is some use to using the first language at the very very beginning to get the key concepts across so you do have an option there, but do use it sparingly do not make it your main technique for teaching.

Begin with phonics at the sound level, then the word level. Build up to sentences. Finally deal with comprehension.
