I just want to say Thank you soooo much my daughter is now 5 in kindergarten we started with you 4 years ago I kept her home and used all of your items she learned so fast and she is was school ready. I eneded up sending her to preK just for social. The teachers were so impressed and asked me what I did. I let them know about you and your tools. I now share this video and encourage other parents to use your learning techniques. She is doing super well in Kindergarten. You are such a Blessing and thank you for sharing your knowledge. ❤️

I wanted to start teaching her but was so overwhelmed with where to start even though I am a teacher myself, so I can only imagine how other parents feel! Thank you for these videos. I have found them all so helpful! You explain wonderfully and detailed. Your attitude is also so encouraging for parents!
I absolutely love her . Ur amazing thank you . I have wanted to start doing mock school with my toddler . So I have been online trying to find good example of how to start . This woman is by far the best I have found so far . I love to teach my son but keeping his attention has been the difficult part . So when she said that children learn fast it made a lot of since . Thank you so much
My daughter knew her Alphabet, colors, shapes (including pentagon hexagon etc) & numbers (1-10) when she was 15months. She knows how to count up to 30 now and count in another language. She’s 2 y/o (26 months) now and loves books even more. She can speak in full sentences now. I probably read her 5 books minimum a day. I’m hoping to teach her how to read as early as now as she is very interested. She memorized some of the pages of some her books that some people think she can actually read. I’ll definitely try this! Thank you so much!!
@@puzzela567 my daughter is 2 as well and knows a lot of these things. We do flash cards as well as when we read we talk about the pictures. I will be starting letter sounds soon and will be working toward teaching her to read.
Flash Cards WORK! Our son is 13 months and he LOVES his flash cards and knows all of his letter sounds, and numbers up to 10! At 13 months! Listen to her, she's very right!
@Xavier-es4gi Yes, he could. We taught him letter sounds before teaching the actual letters. He's now three and can read on a 5th grade level. We had him tested, and he's been diagnosed as intellectually gifted, functioning between the ages 12-14.
@@serenelibra61that's really amazing you can be very proud. thanks for the answer, I think my child is learning quite fast but some sounds are still too much, it might also be language related. Still I would like to know more about the way you used flash cards. were you going fast as explained in this video and do you have any other tips? Or do you know think that his learning abilities comes from how gifted he his more than a specific method? Thank you
@Xavier-es4gi We are very proud. I'd say we went moderate speed with flash cards. But sorry fast, but not so slow that he lost interest. Keep in mind that their attention span is only good for like 5mins at a time, so you have to go like one card every 1.5 real seconds. If you do the pause, when counting you'll see it's just enough time for you to see, say, and read the card. I think each child is different, so I think different methods work differently for each child. Also, I think in part him being gifted, definitely played a major role in his retention of information.
I am a public school teacher and have been watching you since my kiddos were small and before I entered the classroom. I would love you to do ( if you haven't already) small group demonstration.
Jady. Thank you so much for all free printables. We really appreciated. Because whenever I try to print out something educational, there is usually always not free. God bless you Jady.
Hello Jady, I am a grandmother, very concerned about my grandson not reading at 7, I started using your prep and is doing fine, just starting. Regards from Tampa, Florida.
I made my own flashcards with my older daughter for my almost 2 year old. We did alot of colours, shades, and different shapes. And we do them almost every other day. I did this with my daughter, flash cards, singing and I read to her all the time and she's the 2nd most advanced reader in mathematics in her class. When she was born she was also premature and way behind and a lot of things so doing these extra steps helped a lot.
So glad I found this video. I’m a FTM and idk where to start or when it’s appropriate to start he’s 15months now and I don’t feel I’m doing enough. Plus we’re teaching him Spanish as well 😞 feels like I’m confusing him
Judy, what a great video. What you mentioned about feeling overwhelmed with so much info out there and I didn't even know where to start from is sooo true. Thank you so much for all the links and information you are providing in here , I feel so much confident to start my toddler prek now.
my daughter who is one hates when i try and read to her. she'll slap the book out of my hands. my son was the same way tho, and they are both very advanced with their speech regardless. my 3 year old loves it now!
I love this thank you. I’ve become completely bored with coming up with things to do and daily am not sure what to do with my one year old anymore! This is helpful and your blog resources are extremely helpful too!
what do you do if you cant get your two year old to engage in the acitvity? like i try to get my son to sit and do puzzles or look at flash cards and his attention span is like 10 seconds and then he wants to do something else. I feel like the only thing he will sit for are books..its so frustrating!

This is EXCELLENT content! I took notes, and will be implementing ASAP with my toddler. Thank you so much Jady, for sharing your knowledge and expertise! I have a question though... We are a bilingual family, and I speak to my toddler in both languages, with an emphasis on Spanish. How do I teach numbers, colors, etc if I want him to also know those facts in Spanish? Not sure if I should teach both at the same time, or just English and later in Spanish? I have a 5yo who has a hard time speaking and understanding Spanish and I believe it’s bc once he started preschool at age 3, everything that was taught was in English, and was reinforced at home in English as well. Any advice is greatly appreciated! 🙏💗
I would say teach everything in Spanish at home, once the child goes to preschool they pick up English really fast. I speak both English and Spanish fluently (reading, writing, speaking) grew up in a Spanish in the home, English outside the door language mentality lol
@@walkdiwalk4ever hi, I'm also raising a bilingual toddler. Did this technique work out well with your kids? I only speak spanish to her because I want it to be her first language but it's so hard trying to figure out how to manage it all, thank you.

Do you make these books and sell them I definitely would fly one. I just know I wouldn’t be able to make the time to make purchasing it, and sitting down with the child is definitely something I can do, and would do what making is so difficult
