Do they use mobile phones to direct traffic nowadays? Who works out time tables and stock supply?

I'm sure that all the preserved lines have teams of capable people to plan the timetables etc.

9 survived John and 7 have been restored but I think this one is currently the only one in service. Magnificent machines.
