A Busy Day at Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway

On Thursday 4th May, I visited the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Grosmont and spent sometime not only on the station but also visiting the MPD. In this video you will see both steam and diesel locomotives. Below are the following locomotives that I captured during my visit:

One wonders why Dai Woodham hasn't been immortalised as in a Statue or similar somewhere on the Heritage railway landscape. Most heritage railways owe a huge debt of gratitude towards him. Perhaps each one could make a contribution. Without steam locomotives, few heritage lines would have ever been restored. He made a significant contribution to society unlike some recent Royals.

Just think, No. 29 is nearly twice the age of 92134.
