One wonders why Dai Woodham hasn't been immortalised as in a Statue or similar somewhere on the Heritage railway landscape. Most heritage railways owe a huge debt of gratitude towards him. Perhaps each one could make a contribution. Without steam locomotives, few heritage lines would have ever been restored. He made a significant contribution to society unlike some recent Royals.
