Nice reds, just found the channel. One tip that baitcasters have the advantage of, when you go to land a fish, use you thumb and release the spool then keep your thumb on the spool, let's you net fish super fast cause you can swing them towards the net but don't risk breaking the tip of the rod. You naturally will start to add just enough slack in the line so the fish goes straight in net and doesn't bend your rod tip over.
If you don’t mind me asking, how tall are you and weight? I’m bigger and want an Outback. But want to be able to stand and fish. I can stand in my old town 106pdl easily.
I'm around 260 at the moment and 6'0" so just below the Outback's weight range. The Outback's hull shape means it won't be as "platformy" feeling as the Sportsman series, but as a trade off will handle chop and disperse energy a lot more efficiently than the pontoon style hull on the sportsman.
Awesome to see you still making fishing videos!
Good to see you again, Rob. We should fish sometime 🎣
@@TexanTrout I would love to man! I still have your email. I’ll reach out and we can set something up.
5:27 ladder boat 😂
6:18 stake out as soon as you hook up!
I don't think I used the stick even once that day 😢
Just a tip, slide kayak just enough past your bed extender plug wheel cart in while the kayak is still up on the bed
Gonna try this on my next run. Keep forgetting there's a pin to keep them from falling out!! 😤
That’s how I do it with my PA 14 when I put it in my truck

You know where to get one 👀

how is it to stand up and cast on that thing?
It's not too bad. Never flipped it, and not easy to fall off. Wouldn't try it in rougher water though.
What’s this drop in location?
Quiet little spot for sure.
Great video, thanks for sharing!

Also what's the song at the very beginning? Ends at :36 seconds
It's a remix of Dancing in the Moonlight - King Harvest 🙏
@@TexanTrout I searched for awhile and found it. Thanks sir!
Question? if you wanted to hop out of your kayak and wade fish, is the bottom muddy or solid enough to walk and wade fish?
I poked the bottom with my anchor stick, and it felt pretty muddy 😶
