Indoor Drone Obstacle Course

- The way I learned to be a better FPV drone pilot was by flying 10 batteries every day for 10 days in a row. To get better at flying indoor FPV, Kris and I decided to set up an obstacle course at the office and see how well we could fly it over the course of 90 minutes. We both flew the Flywoo Cinerace V2 with the DJI O3 video system. These little quads are a ton of fun for indoor flying and the bright LEDs make them especially fun to fly and to watch!

Great to see you making the most out of your Wet cold days. It should start warming up over there soon once I have finished with the warm weather. Kris has nearly mastered indoor flying with some more practise you will find that #Chasingishard to be untrue. Keep up the the great work and I will try to part with the warm weather
Keep that warm weather for as long as you can, Trevor. 😅
We actually had a fairly warm day the other week and Kelly did a good chase, after a pole got in his way at first. ua-cam.com/video/Z-fpuGLp0Yo/v-deo.html
Love the indoor flying, Kelly and Kris!
Thx Mike
Your skills are insanely good! I liked this video a lot. Just got my first FPV drone and I’m learning to fly right now. Thanks!
Yes this was awesome Kelly and Chris . RSD 4 life 🦾🚀👊🏻
Ah shucks!
Awesome video and flying!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great review I was just looking at that quad on RDQ this morning. 😊I found the smaller the quad the more unforgiving the response, thanks Guys.
It's great for indoors and small park stuff - playscapes, through trees, etc. Not for freestyle though. And it's really cool in low light because of the integrated LEDs.
That kid is good 👍

"...flying indoors with these ducks" 🤔 [3:00]
Don't quack me up, Brent!
Yeah, I think about helicopters having to lean forward to get any forward speed & that's what you have here, just on a smaller
level. Apparently it takes a lot of practice to be able to life up & move forward when under any shelf & because there's nothing
to propel the drone forward you have to lift up & lean it towards the direction you wish to go which you proved when you hit
those areas w/ speed behind you it was easier to keep it going. It's a dynamic like the helicopters we see except they rarely
go thru shelves..... lol, interesting show. peace
Did yall have airmode enabled? I have seen videos about real estate fly through setups and they have said to make sure airmode is disabled because it could cause the quad to "suck itself into walls", I wonder if that could've affected the chair issues.
Good point - I think we did have airmode enabled. Something to experiment with. Thanks for the tip!
Air mode was probably a factor when taking off outdoors in acro/air mode and the quad being unstable for a second. But in angle mode, when flying indoors, I'm not sure if air mode is a factor, but I'll look into it. Thanks for the tip.
@@readysetdrone you're welcome! I've thought about mapping airmode to a switch on my controller for my 3.5" cinewhoop so I can turn it on or off on the fly depending on if I'm flying from outdoors to indoors or vise-versa.
Awesome! Perfect indoor fun. I have been flying the little whoop you gave me at Spinup around the house. It is the perfect drug to hold me over until the rain stops. Now I feel inspired to build an obstacle course. #Chasingishard I had my first crash into a plane I was chasing a week ago😅.
Your chases are good. I've seen you get close, so I'm surprised you hadn't crashed into it until last week! 👊
Yeah - as long as you don't crash into any other residents of the house or office, flying indoors is a blast!
Yeah, But does it freestyle?
It's not the most agile, the wind gets to it, so it's not a good freestyle quad, but for indoor flying or just cruising around outdoors, it's a great little quad that flies and responds nicely.
It is definitely not a freestyle quad. But for laps and gaps, it's great!
Nice beard...
Thanks!
Looks like somebody forgot how to use a razor...
I hate chair suck...
Indeed! ;-)
*So, what I hear Kris saying is chairs and shelves "suck". 😊Oh, Sparksight.*
😂
I got sucked in by the chair! Great excuse, I may use that one too. But hey, at least no light poles or powerlines got in the way 😂
Chairs are much more forgiving than water towers.
@@readysetdrone or light poles!
Quit fighting, boys! Lol
Smoothness Homie 🤙🏼 the footage looks good. Nice little quad.
Is it better to fly indoors in angle mode?
Yes. Definitely
