Great Info, thank you for sharing your experience to help keep us in the loop as to not getting our flight gear confiscated by TSA. One thing that also helped me gain trust from TSA besides a Fire Safe bag, was to 3D print plug covers for the XT60 and Balance plug to ensure no cross arcing would be possible while in transit. Thank you again Danny for your time and sharing your gained knowledge within the sport we love...
Appreciate the tips my man. Enjoyed this video especially because it felt like a casual chat for people that are interested in this. Would dig the in-depth video 🙏🏽
Dang! 6 drones in checked luggage..yikes! I've traveled with 2 max. and always as carry-on luggage. But then again, was never for an important client gig like your cruise gig was. I would have been freaking out. 😨😨 . I just hate taking off all my props because I feel like I'm going to re-install one backwards (and we know how that goes). Especially, if you have quads that have different motor setups. Nice video Danny...always look forward to your posts...you've got some amazing clips. Loved that intro clip at 0:28 (vibrant colors)... 👍👍👍
It's all about fpv right?, i request what kind of laptop do you use to post production while travelling, it's impossible you bought PC all over place you visit LoL... Thanks for sharing. great vidio
@@Mcgeee that's one thing I've decided to take a chance with. I've read around, and the only thing I saw regarding that was it couldn't be longer than 7"... So if I take the tip off of mine, that'll work. I'll keep you posted if that works out... But even if it doesn't I can buy one down there if I need to.
I honestly think he meant to say Storage charge instead of Discharge. Storage charge means you bring your battery voltage down to a safe voltage per each cell. Vs. Discharge means you bring the battery voltage per each cell pretty much down to zero if you’re trying to dispose of them. If you Discharge your LiPo batteries instead of Storage charging them knowing you’re going to use them again, you run the risk of damaging your batteries to the point they may not fully charge or charge at all. But just look up Storage Charge Vs. Discharge
So are you just getting lucky with bringing overweight carry on luggage or is there no weight limit for them as in EU? Here they sometimes limit carry on to 8kg.

EASA is just the same as the FAA, it regulates aircraft. There is no pre check in Europe as each nation state does things differently.

how many batteries you can take with you?
Usually at least 10
When you say discharge is that the same as storage charge?

Yes that’s what I meant. Never fully discharge

In the states there's no limit for carryons on most airlines. You have to check specifically though
