I just got a subscription to Navigraph. Your videos are first rate providing the indepth explanations of the software and components that enhance my overall understanding of the program. Thank you and please make more videos. You are an excellent teacher.

Were you previously using charts? I ask because I usually google charts and 90% of the time, they don't exactly match what's in MSFS202 (i.e. taxiways on the airport diagram don't exist in the sim or visa versa) but are close. I'm considering a navigraph subscription, especially because I usually fly the A32NX and version 7 has integrated navigraph into the EFB. I'm just not sure because I already use simbrief to flight plan and if the charts in navigraph aren't close to 100% matching to the sim, it's somewhat of a waste.

For some FS2020 is just a game. For people like me its a very deep dark ocean like learning. Thanks for being here with tourch 😉

Jesus Christ. That was amazing David! What a great rundown. Yeah, one of the most complex things is being given taxi clearance and then trying to pac man my way through the airport on the right path. Great work!

Awesome, thanks Travis, Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I've had my fare share at unfamiliar airports of trying to play where's waldo with the taxiway's.

Once again Dave. Extremely detailed seminar on reading airport diagrams. Anyone doing their P1's on Vatsim, I'll suggest coming here a learning from a simple to understand video. 👍

I have access to jeppessen, but still use navigraph. Nicely designed and because it allows you to sync with MSFS 2020 makes it a no brainer to add depth and realism. Keep up the great work.

Thanks a lot for this series of tutorials. The best video on charts I have ever come across, and I'm not totally illiterate on them. Well made, well narrated, and very instructive. I cannot find the other mentioned videos, e.g. 104B and 105. Have these been done? If not, I hope you do find time and will to do them, this series is really helpful.

Thanks again for these great tutorials, Dave. I'm watching them all closely, usually twice over, and learning a lot. I subbed to Navigraph this week and did my first full sid to star pre-planned successful trip last night in France. I initially tried to do a couple of common home routes that I fly in real life (CYYJ->CYVR and CYVR->CYYC) but I was unable to plan a full end to end route for either of those connections as there always seems to be some uncovered airspace that I guess is covered in other ways. LFJL to LFPB worked out well, however.
I've gone back and watched almost your entire library, so keep 'em coming and I'll keep hitting the thumbs up and learning. :)

@@NOTAM1 Yeah I was more or less assuming (not because you explicitly said so but didn't seem to say otherwise), that if you have any dashed lines showing, your plan is incomplete! So MSFS handles those vectoring gaps well via ATC? Or does it basically just leave you to guide yourself to the approach?
