    Yes, I remember around the mid 90s that there was a "fire" in a major memory chip manufacturer and the memory prices went to the stratosphere. Did you ever use any of the Commodore computers?

      I totally remember that "Taiwan factory fire " that sent prices soaring. I did not do much with the Commodore computers. A friend had a C64 when we were growing up. I had a Radio Shack TRS-80 as our first family computer. I then upgraded to a Packard Bell 386-sx16 PC when I went to college. Been nerding out since then. Did you have a Commodore?
      I am thinking about digging the TRS-80 out of the basement and doing a few videos on that.
      Would love to hear your stories of old tech. I was planning to do some interviews with others and posting them on here. Would you be interested in telling some of your stories in a short interview format? That is one of my goals for 2024, to get the stories of us old tech guys out there....
