I only have two blushes (one dusty pink and one brown), but I feel like I can get pretty far with them. Would love a video about blush techniques to get even more use out of them :)
Tl;dr: Bring back one color swatch parties!! Here to resuggest that for no buy July you should definitely bring back swatching all the shadows you have in a particular color!! I’m sure people would love to see taupes, reds, purples, blue red duochromes, and every possible color in the spectrum of your collection, both for beautiful visual purposes but also the appreciation of what they might have :)))
Nadia, just letting you know that I have seen your request and I'll keep it in mind! It's a bit hard to commit because those videos (swatching all of the blues and greens ) are some of the worst-performing videos on my channel for years 😳 but I am noting that some people really loved them, and there may be a way to re-frame them so that they have a better chance of being seen. I'll keep thinking about it!
You have really lit the fire within me to minimize my collection. I love makeup so much, but my collection is so large that it's no longer fun. Watching you hone down your collection over the years has been inspiring! I have 3x this many blushes and I don't even have the excuse of having a beauty related job. When I open my blush drawer, I get overwhelmed and grab the same blush every day because I can't remember which ones I even like. Thank you for reminding me that quality is so much more important than quantity.
Your Salt New York blushes! Where they at? Lol SUCH a satisfying video regardless. I can’t get enough blush, and your collection is so dreamy. Can I ask, what happened to your lilah b blush in lovely? I have three lilah b blushes because of your reviews and they are some of the loves of my life. ❤️
I forgot about the SNY blushes b/c they are stored separately! The lilah b blushes are still some of my favorites on the market, I decluttered them back in LA and I can't really remember why. I think it was a combination of them being several years old and me having lots of blush that was basically the same color. But I remember them fondly :)
I was literally gasping when you swatched the Kett old gum colour, because you made me so aware of this type of blush shade.. I instantly felt excited :D
I’ve been having a blush revolution lately. I did like blush before but it has been hitting different this summer. I especially love playing with my blush placement lately. I like putting it high up close to my eyes and I actually think it enables me to get away with a heavier application or use brighter colors. It’s been a really fun surprise this summer!
YES. Doing this helped me do a pretty significant declutter because I realized I had accumulated a number of products that were essentially shade/finish dupes of each other when I was stress purchasing during peak COVID, and I found them good homes! I intend to make this a quarterly thing to make sure I have a good idea of what I possess at all times. It reminds me why I bought the beautiful things I own in the first place - to put them on my face, and I can't do that with all the little lovelies if I own too many. I know I need to rehome some more of them, but I don't feel bad for not rushing the process.
I love blush but I find myself drawn to really bright light pink and purple. Just fun colors for my pale skin. Love watching you swatch and shop what you already have.
I have been reorganizing my collection and have come across some forgotten gems. It’s the best! Falling in love for another time, and all at no extra costs!
Those blushes😍 The elf palette is so beautiful. If you are looking for a more neutral Westman Atelier blush I suggest Mimi. It’s back in stock right now after what I think was a year wait. That shade would look beautiful on you.
HANNAHHHHH are you kidding me?? I just did this last night! For the very same reason! Ahhh stg your videos have been coming in perfectly! Timing is impeccable 👌🏻👌🏻💝❤️🔥✨✨
Unrelated comment, but (and I know you antihauled this) I recently qatched kackie's video on the isamaya palette and the video convinced me that wasn't a palette for me, but when I saw the video I couldn't help but thinking you would love that palette
I have really loved these shop my stash videos, and would be very interested in watching some makeup play time videos showing us some different looks you can do with all of these things you have shopped your stash for :)
Hannah, you definitely don’t need to do this, but also, you NEED to try Westman Atelier’s tawny-beige blush in “Mimi” which recently restocked on their site!!!
I have felt like I’m in a blush rut for the past month and you have inspired me to pull them all out and swatch them. I have been yearning for the Fenty sun stalker bronzer palette and when I swatched it at Sephora it was way too warm for my skin tone but I still really love the concept so I pulled out all of my bronzers and duped the vibes and am so excited with my “new” bronzer/eyeshadow palette. Thanks for the inspiration!
So many pretty blushes! I've been used dusk by glossier loads lately and ended up using it on my wedding day last month (plus a colourpop powder blush on top of it).
Love a good ole blush swatch video. I have ADHD which means that I suffer with the idea of object permanence. I've found that not only swatching my entire makeup collection, but photographing those swatches allows me to have an at hand reference for every item I own. I just did my cream & compact powders the other night. I post all of these to instagram so they don't get lost in my camera roll. I am now inspired to play with puff again, it's such a unique blush.
Westman Atelier's Mimi is a more neutral shade. It's described on their website as a tawny beige. You might want to check it out when you're done your no-buy. It would be fun to see a video where you mix the Haus Labs pigment in with your other blushes to make new shades. 🎨
Hannah I loved this video it’s delicious. I watched it twice! Once full on and once in background. I would love an in depth piece on pale olive complexions and what colours work. I am also pale olive but with ashy hair to which I add caramel highlights to not look dead. So my colours are quite different to yours despite the similarity in complexion. I adore your creamy blushes and think the kett is so perfect I don’t know if you need anything else!
Blush is my favourite as well and I loved this video. I am always drawn to that Kevyn Aucoin blush every time you talk about it. I am a fair red-head like you and I find your choices so interesting since I know most of them would work for me, without the expert flare you have 😊I recently reviewed my small collection and I am definitely on the hunt for an everyday, easy to work with cream pink. I feel I will be reviewing this video a few times 🥰🇨🇦.
For a cream pink might I suggest looking at the two new Melt Cream Blushlight shades? The formula is excellent. It is a bit scented upon initial application just in case that’s a deal breaker. Also Persona stick in bubble might be a good option once it’s not out of stock. Mac Glow Play blushes are also excellent.
I have bought some limited edition blush/highlight from colorpop and neglected them. So I pulled them out and started swatching and reconnecting again and I’m so happy I did! ❤
This was so fun to watch! Ngl, I was sad that the Ellis Faas blush didn’t make the cut. I’m off to swatch my blush collection now, so thank you for the inspiration :)
i have so many blushes but they are all either mauve, pink, or orange . i wish i liked brown blush on me . i do agree that swatching and playing with your makeup reinvigorates the love you already have for the stuff you already picked out
I bought the phytosurgence blushes after your review video and I am IN LOVE with the formula. So much so that I don’t have the urge to buy any other blushes right now. Enjoying what I own🥰
Oh blush is my favorite beauty product 😍 so I love any video that swatches and explores these products! Thanks for the video 💜 Puff is probably the only thing I have backups of because I don't want to be without
This makes me want to play with my blushes now. I really want to buy the few that are on my wishlist and I’m trying to hold off to make sure I actually want them.
This is a big ask probably, but will you do another long mesmerizing makeup footage video soon? It definitely inspires the shop your stash feeling too just playing with the textures.
I have only discovered the joy of cream blushes and have one from Mac and a sample from Laura mercier. I love my powder blushes and every time I swatch them out I always enjoy that process.I am still on a low buy for blush and its good because honestly I don't need another colour I need to love on what I have :)
I haven’t purchased any blushes in so long because I use a lot of eyeshadow as blushes. Maybe you could use some blushes for lips or the bronzers on eyes. That is what I do for sure. I multi-task my makeup so I don’t have to buy so much.😅
Seeing the swatch of Eros is so interesting. It looks so mucky in the pan but on me it almost turns red on my cheeks. Like a sunburn red. Doesn't do that at all on your skin!
As someone with rosacea.. I've never needed blush! In fact, I've always wanted completely smooth, even skin instead. I've never bought a blush or bronzer in my life so it's crazy to me seeing that even a modest collection can include so many different products.
Do you not consider the Salt New York blushes as blush? Or did you declutter them at some point? Curious because I think of them as a cornerstone for you!
If the powder products tend to swatch weird. Try to crape off the top part(a spoolie works great) and swatch it again. Sometimes it's just the top and you can keep on using it
omg I totally forgot about them because they are stored in a different place. BUT since I have so many colors, I would probably have decided to omit them anyway! They would have dominated the video!
It may be controversial, but I like to use only one colour on my face. Partially through lack of experience, partially because I am easily overwhelmed by too much choice. So I tend to use tinted lipstick/balm. I apply it to my lips, eye corner crease and apples of my cheeks and blend with my fingers. I dab the excess onto the tip of my chin and the bridge of my nose. I am currently using Clinique chub stick in ‘whole lotta honey’ or Lisa Eldridge lucent lipstick in ‘painterly’. I would be nice to try using cream blush in the same way. Blush is my favourite transformation 😊 Ps: I tried to leave a comment on your full coverage underwear review, but I believe it may have been deleted as I left a link that may have been picked up as spam. I wanted to suggest a brand for you to try (if indeed you are still looking) and that is Marks and Spencer’s! M&S are historically known in the UK for the quality and value of their underwear. It is a running joke that even those who can afford the very best still wear M&S undies!
my blush collection consists of of the sephora collection clean velvet cream blush pallette in candied and colourpop super shock blush in brut flute, and that's really all I need as I'm not a big blush person
I need to do this, I have so much old ass makeup that I need to literally toss, and new products that have no home because my organizers are full of old expired crap lol
Blush never gives me the ‘lift’ that I see YTers getting when they put blush on. Maybe I just haven’t found the colour that does its magic on my NC42 skin😔. I have been using Natasha Denonas cream to matte shadow in coral from her coral mini and I think that might the most flattering on me (but needs a highlight on top). I have a rosy mauve face paint that I also use as blush and I think that also looks good-ish. The hourglass ambient blush in champagne rose does nothing other than deposit pigment. The rest of the time I just play with my lipsticks as blush to pan them or play with pink, coral and orange eyeshadows as blush borrowing from Lisa Eldridge’s blush watercolour technique. I will probably come to the right mix of colours one day…..
I LOVE rosy bronzers. As a fair-skinned gal I find bronzer that contains rosy tones to be significantly more flattering on me than the typical warm/orange/yellow tones that are much more commonly found in bronzer products. I think finding the right shade of bronzer for your skin & undertone is almost as important as finding a good foundation match! Therefore, I'm surprised companies don't come out with a large bronzer range to suit vast undertones, and was impressed by the large bronzer collection Haus Labs released. I've spent a lot of time trying and searching for good rosy-toned bronzers, and my absolute best find to date and current favourite bronzer is the Gucci bronzer in shade 01--a gorgeous rosy toned bronzer that looks natural and "at-home" on my face. *I'd love to see a video of the Gucci bronzer 01 swatch/compared to Haus Labs Light Level 1 bronzer & Kevin Aucoin's ombré bronzer.* I'd also love to find a good rosy-leaning cream bronzer as cream products are my preference, so if anyone has ideas please share! Every cream bronzer I've tried skews very warm. Some other bronzers I'm considering trying are Chantecaille's Real Bronze in shade Goa (a soft rosy/red toned gel-powder formula that doesn't look or feel like makeup, which it applies lightweight but can be built up. Every review I've seen has been positive), and the Nars Laguna 01 Cream bronzer (it's not rosy-toned, but appears to be truly neutral--which can be hard to find).
Glossier puff has tragically changed now to a much peachier, more orange, colour. The brand deny that anything happened but, unfortunately, once my fave runs out I'm going to have to look for a replacement from elsewhere.
I only have two blushes (one dusty pink and one brown), but I feel like I can get pretty far with them. Would love a video about blush techniques to get even more use out of them :)
Yes more technique videos to remind us that old products can become new again with a fresh technique
I love this comment and agree. Also more closet playtime vids I loved her last one
Tl;dr: Bring back one color swatch parties!!

Please do a collab with Amanda Z! Your choice of makeup, voice, look remind me so much of her!!!
@0:17 Blush is also my favourite makeup item! I love your swatching videos, especially of your blush and lip collections.
Saturday morning coffee and an overheard video! Now I’m going to get dressed, put some blush on and start the weekend.
YES. These are my favorite videos. Makes me want to do the same thing and have a makeup playtime ❤️
This was just awesome. I swatched all my eyeshadows last week and it was just fun. I love my old stuff again. BRB, gonna go swatch blush...
HANNAHHHHH are you kidding me?? I just did this last night! For the very same reason! Ahhh stg your videos have been coming in perfectly! Timing is impeccable 👌🏻👌🏻💝❤️🔥✨✨
I know you love your warm peach tones but cool pink suits your skin so well 😩🥰
I feel like you would love mimi from westman atelier! Its described as a tawny beige and is more neutral!

I loved Kackie’s review on the isamaya!
@@michelesalter9564 that eye looked glorious on her!
I saw the title and instantly clicked :) I love your swatch videos they are always so through and insightful
I do too! ❤ she does the best overhead swatches
Same! And pretty!
I have really loved these shop my stash videos, and would be very interested in watching some makeup play time videos showing us some different looks you can do with all of these things you have shopped your stash for :)
Video request 💡❤️ the search for the BEST putty/gum shade of blush for us fair folk. Would love to see your recs
Hannah, you definitely don’t need to do this, but also, you NEED to try Westman Atelier’s tawny-beige blush in “Mimi” which recently restocked on their site!!!
I have been waiting for that shade to come back for a while now and so I am looking forward to trying it now. :)
Came here to say this!
I have felt like I’m in a blush rut for the past month and you have inspired me to pull them all out and swatch them. Love your nails! My miel glace had to be decluttered because it was dusty crusty and yours is older than mine since it was your recommendation 😮
That Kaleidos blush is to die for.

can you swatch the kett old gum shade next to the old gum shade you made with the salt new york products?
Oooo yes this please!
I love blush so much. Great video!!!

I bought the phytosurgence blushes after your review video and I am IN LOVE with the formula. So much so that I don’t have the urge to buy any other blushes right now. Enjoying what I own🥰
You always inspire me to visit my stash :)
I adore blush. I have an unreadable amount but I also have zero regrets lol.
Hannah, I think you would like RMS lip2cheek in Spell. Have you tried it?
Thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks... blush is simply fun. I look for old gum colors now that I have a good descriptor for a very faint pink skin flush.
Oh blush is my favorite beauty product 😍 so I love any video that swatches and explores these products! Thanks for the video 💜 Puff is probably the only thing I have backups of because I don't want to be without
Oh how much I've missed your overhead collection / declutter reckoning videos!! ❤ mazel on the TFD interview!!

Mocha Havana Shimmer will always be a main girlie in my stash!
This is such a great idea! I have soooo many blushes 😅
This is ashes of roses balm for my soul

@singerwb Thanks!

How do you keep your cream blush so clean? I feel like mine is always attracting random pieces of lint :(
What about salt new york?
omg I totally forgot about them because they are stored in a different place. BUT since I have so many colors, I would probably have decided to omit them anyway! They would have dominated the video!
It may be controversial, but I like to use only one colour on my face.

This reminds me of Warmth from bare minerals. That how it used to be applied
Hello. What color of Kevyn Aucion neo bronzer do you have? Thank you
I love your nails 💅
my blush collection consists of of the sephora collection clean velvet cream blush pallette in candied and colourpop super shock blush in brut flute, and that's really all I need as I'm not a big blush person
How about mixing those darker bronzer with lighter blushes those liquid ones
i'm so sad they discontinued the 3ce blushes, they were so unique :(
What color is the Kevyn Aucoin bronzing powder?
I always wanted that Kevin Aquoine palette but it was always out of my budget. Most of my make up is unbranded
I will probably come to the right mix of colours one day…..
if u have not tried, changing up blush placement can really provide that “lift”!
*I'd love to see a video of the Gucci bronzer 01 swatch/compared to Haus Labs Light Level 1 bronzer & Kevin Aucoin's ombré bronzer.*
I'd also love to find a good rosy-leaning cream bronzer as cream products are my preference, so if anyone has ideas please share!
Great video
Love'em all!
Glossier puff has tragically changed now to a much peachier, more orange, colour. The brand deny that anything happened but, unfortunately, once my fave runs out I'm going to have to look for a replacement from elsewhere.
❤️❤️❤️
New subscriber. Nice video
The 3CE made me crave hot Cheetos hehe

@Hannah Louise Poston Why was Old Gum not swatched too‽

You forgot the salt NY shades 😱

First!
Ahhhhh! Overhead blush video
