Cheers for the uploads, these are the best motivation for training. Seeing you push yourself while already at the top gives others reason to push themselves.
I think the strong man training has paid off in aiding his core and back for the squat and deadlift glad he is still implementing it after the success he had last prep
All I'm thinking is just move the bar in a straight line. I really don't think too much when I'm lifting, at this point. It's a bit like ultra instinct for me.
It stills amazes me how john is the pfp best powerlifter in the wolrd with some absolute elite level strength but has the tastes of a 13 years old rebelious teen from the 2010s in term of music
Always inspirational and motivating seeing the best out there doing his work. Currently trying to tweak my squat form to finally go past the 500lbs - would it be possible to get a side view/angle from your squat to better understand your bar positioning and path in one of your future videos?
What is your max deep squat without any assistance whatsoever: no belt, no knee sleeves? Also, your deadlift without a belt on a stiff bar? Is your squat bigger than Toshikis? He did 321 with a light pair of knee sleeves. I dunno how much they gave him.
John, do you squat in tight pants, I tried it but it takes my mind away a lot from the movement when you feel the pants tightening or do you like that compression or is it healthy? Thank you
surprised to hear how little warmups you do for squat + deadlift. Has that always been the case, or did you just cut stuff out until you found what was good for you
For one, he's planning to do another strongman comp after this next meet, and also he's mentioned before that yoke/farmers helped his squat walkout feel more stable.
good variation to throw in id imagine, sort of imitates a squat stance I dont think there's a definitive reason behind it just throw in variation you think you need that will help with your lifts
Just a pleasure watching you work man. Doing legs today after this inspiration

i would ussually never glaze anyone but man you are so cool such perfect form and so strong holy bro
John Haack is the most glazable person on earth, you are forgiven.
Buddy of mine popped his bicep stumbling in a yoke similar to how you talked about it. Be safe.
Having a spotter on call is awesome
He keeps a handful of them ready to go in a corner

sub bc of the griz song, keep up with the great work
Could you list your main cues on squat or what you focus on while descending? Thanks!
I bet just to keep the body straight and tight af

Brilliant that he's doing strong man
He always has and even talked about eventually jumping into pro strongman.
The wide shot at 4:31 is way better than the close up shots.

Commiserate with Peter Rugby at Koala Fitness Center in Oak River Tennessee with post-workout meal at Panda Express in late 2024?
Can you post song choices for each of your top sets please?
Nice!
Hi John. Will you ever bulk up to the 120 kilo weight class?
nice

I still don't get how he can squat in those tight ua pants 😂 I can only squat with compression
@@bryanwong09 I just don’t know English, I’m translating through a translator, I didn’t quite understand what you wrote
Do what feels good for you! He wears a bunch of different things.
Where do I get that belt?
I'm wondering what are those warm up ? glutes activation ?
he explained it
John Haack, causally squatting more than Bloach's deadlift max for reps. Cuckle cuckle cuckle...
Woah!!... Running with 310 for me that not easy motivation bro everything you do is COVID 😎😎👍
road to infernal cape ep. 1
It's scary to read those words from John. Did he finally decide to move up to 100kg weight class?
He’s already said that he’ll move up to 100kg if he can hit 2300lbs/1045kg at 198lbs/90kg BW in his next meet

I've had a few phases where I've done more of a warm up, but for the majority of my career it's been along these lines.

John, you said u take 100mg/week right now. Was it always like that? I mean, did you also stayed on low test dosage post-meet in past?
The last two or three have been this way.
100mg test a week is pretty low man! Im on actual TRT and my dose is only about 87.5mg a week
Why does he do the strongman training?
bc he's strong af

Also, with your squat, would you ever consider weightlifting? You might be able to do well in it. America needs a good weightlifter.
"To go even further beyond" Is the man implying he's pulling the tren trigger?
lol
Anadrol is better than tren for powerlifting
Gyno is getting bad eh john ?
No?
He’s just excited to lift.
