  • In this edition of IN THE SYSTEM, we depart St. Petersburg's incomparable Albert Whitted Airport after a weather-induced overnight (ceilings in the Tallahassee area were at ILS minimums the evening before). After copying an IFR clearance using the CRAFT method, we're cleared for takeoff.
Produced using GoPro 3, 4 & 5 and a FlightFlix slim surface mount.

I really enjoy your flights!!! You've encouraged me all the way in Vancouver to become a pilot!

Wow - what a heartening thing to hear! Great decision. For every dollar and ounce of energy I’ve put into aviation, I’ve gotten a ten-fold return!

It's the very first of the straight tails - a 1960 Debonair (35-33).
