- After covering the BCI Calendar visual, I thought it would be time to cover 4 additional calendar visuals in Power BI. This is my review of the MAQ, Tallan, Akvelon and OKViz calendar custom visuals.

Fantastic!
thank so much, very helpful tutorial
Thank you Bandar, any of the visuals struck your interest most?
I find MAQ to be very suitable for my model
thankyou thankyou thankyou.. you provide better learning and support than OKVIZ.. 😅😅
Hi Angus, that comment made my day! Thanks!
Interesting video, thank you. How do you configure the data when using MAQ Calendar, because the records do not appear to me at a certain time. It's like it lasts all day. I have the time in another column.
My first guess would be that you should merge the date and time columns. However, I'm not 100% sure. If you like you can share the raw formatted table with me (use the mail account from the newsletter subscription) and I can check.
Good job. What if we have event with duration? Is there any way of doing this?
If you have multiple days of the event it should show up correctly if you set the start and end date. You might want to review the demo content that you can download for each visual. If one of the visuals allows for it you will find it there.
Can these calendar visual filter the rest of the page when we select the dates?
Yes, some can but I don't think all can
Is it possible to change the language of these visuals? Changing the months' names to Portuguese, for example
This would likely be related to the data content. Or the version of Power BI that you have installed. Here's a helpful link to try out: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/visuals/localization#:~:text=Navigate%20to%20Settings%20%3E%20Settings%20%3E%20Settings,use%2C%20and%20then%20select%20Apply.
Hello what about the backup to project4web
Backup for P4W is (I believe) handeled through the audit option in the dataverse. But there is no actual back up and restore feature yet. Projectum has created one with the Power HUB. But I'm not sure if it already is able to POST on the task api. I'll ask someone from the team to respond.
The problem has solved.
OKVIZ calendar does not support date/time format like "24.12.2024 01:12:48"
Power bi works properly with this, but Okviz - not. And Okviz losts some data.
To avoid this situation change your date format to: "24.12.2024", delete time. If you need time - use additional column with "24.12.2024 01:12:48".
Harsh, but ok 😀. What do you expect your calendar visual to do that isn't easy or possible with the ones I shared in the video? If I find one, I'll let you know.
@@TheProjectCorner hi. Thank for respond))
Ive changed my post, cause Ive found the issue and solved it
Great, ones again, thanks for sharing your experiences
