Hi there Craig thanks for your Question Buddy. It all depends what style You like in your fishing Rod such as Stiffness or soft. I haven’t really target trout before but I would love to one day but if your love a softer tip rod Bream Crank is my Go to but if you like a stiffer Rod I think the Bream Surface is great aswell for a allrounder Rod for flicking Lures🤙That’s my Opinion anyhow Craig Hopefully that helps even if you go into your local tackleshop ask about the Arrowz rods that fit great for Trout fishing and see what they say😉🎣🐟
I just bought the the Bream crank thinking it will be good for soft plastics and the Egi as i like the length but discovered its a Squid rod but i think it wud be ok for a all rounder bait/lure rod, what's your thoughts mate, enjoyed your video btw.. Cheers.
Gday mate Very informative video, thank you. Just a quickie though, im learning towards the surface 3-8lbs in 7’6 as my fishing is mostly landbased. Just need that extra cast distance. Mainly for sugapens and blades like zx40’s. Q. Would the blade action feel as crisp as they should on this rod? & would this be a casting machine with avg 5g lures? (Light lines of course) Cheers.
Awesome overview of the rods. Being new to fishing I found it confuing to pick one but I might pick up the AAS-270BS, as you said a good allrounder. Your info on reels was cut short, can you recommend something please. Cheers Andrew - (Newcastle)
Hi there Andrew thanks for your message buddy am glad you got something out of this video😉 I usually just use 1000 size reels on all of my rods but it comes down what you like using Champ. Hopefully this helps you again🤙🎣🐟
Just got the 7ft 2piece 2-6lb estuary model with 2-10g cast weight. These good for soft plastics too? I'll be predominantly using soft plastic in 1/12 - 1/4 ounce jigs and some crank38 and double clutch. They're really nice for the money though.
W C Hi there Buddy I usually use a stiffer rod for Soft Plastics and use a softer rod for Hardbody Lures but am sure it will work for both styles of fishing that you will be doing. They are Amazing Rods for the Value I can’t fault them at all I have a few models now and love them all😉
@@fishingallthegearnoidea9802 Thanks for your reply. So for soft plastic it's better to have a stiffer rod tip and soft wobbly tip for hardbody? I mainly use bait and eging and just trying to get into plastics and some hardbody. I bought this 2-10g because it covers all my jig weight. If I opted for a stiffer tip the cast weight would be bigger and won't cover my jig range if that makes any sense.
W C yes it’s easier to feel and work the soft plastic with a slightly stiffer rod. In saying that so many times I’ve taken a Rod say Bream Surface telling myself I’m only going to throw Surface next minute I’ve got a crank on and it does the job fine! That’s what I love so much about these Rods they really are versatile and for the price I don’t think you can go wrong. Yep makes sense buddy.
@@fishingallthegearnoidea9802 Awesome. Cheers for the tip. I'll see how it goes and if needed I'll make another excuse to the missus and buy another rod 😁
Hello mate , nice informative video , I like the look of these rods and will be the next rod I invest in when needed. Just a question in regard to surface fishing , you say the stiffer rod is your preference …? I've found the light tip "wobbly" rods easier to get the walk the dog action on , is there a reason you prefer the stiffer rod for this ? Thanks and keep up the good work !
Lindsay Pettiford Hi there Lindsay Thanks For your kind Words Buddy🤙 Yeah these Rods are great Indeed for the Value I find using the Atomic Bream Surface Rod is Fantastic for Surface Lures just because it’s Stiffer and I can walk the Dog better with it then using a Wobbly Rod😉I like using a Wobbly Rod more for Cranks that’s just my Opinion champ👌
Nathan Campbell Yeah there’s some good Spots in the Lake that’s for sure you Just have to find them and Give them a Crack Best Part is about Fishing is Exploding😉
Hi, Im still a bit unsure which rod to buy to use for the hard body lures like bream cranks, soft plastics and say double clutch, bent minnow lures, should i be going for the bream crank rod?or the estuary?is either suitable for both hard body and soft plastics ? thanks
Hi there Shannon Thanks for your Questions Buddy well the things you want to use I use the Atomic Bream Surface for my allrounder Fishing Rods. So the Products you mentioned that would be my main choice when picking a Rod. Or if you are just using Cranks such as Hardbodys like the Atomic 38 Cranks the Bream Crank Rod is Awesome for that😉 That’s what I use. Hopefully this Helps you out Shannon if Not send through more Questions Champ happy to help in whatever way is Possible to make you make the right choice😉 Happy Shopping
@@fishingallthegearnoidea9802 I was actually thinking the surface or estuary ultra light,I think I will go with the surface it has good balance, thanks for the advice👍
Hey mate. Brisbane boy. Few questions so I have the ASS70UL 3-10lb setup with a Ci4 2500. I Also have a Ci4 1000 I absolutely LOVE my Arrowz rod so much that I want to buy another 2 x 2500 Ci4 and 2 x 1000 Ci4. My question is. Should I put all 3 2500 on the ML size rod for heavier soft plastics, trolling deep diving lures chasing bigger Flathead and, Jacks, Bass, Snapper, Trevally and Cod? Then get for the 1000 Bream Crank, Bream Surface and use my 3-10lb UL for light soft plastics like 1/40, 1/20 ect. Thanks heaps.
Pieter B Hi there Buddy Yeah I would use the 2500 size reels on the heavier rods but I don’t use them much so it’s up to you Champ. I mainly use the 1000 Size reels such as the Stradic Ci4 for my Bream Crank & Bream Surface Rods I even use them for my Estuary Model aswell But its a 2-6lb Model Two Piece. I think it just comes down to personal choice to buddy and how they both feel in your hand. So hopefully this helps you out with my Answer or maybe it’s just confused you lol 😂. Am stoked that you love your Arrowz Rods and you are thinking about Purchasing more they are great value for money for Sure when it comes to Fishing Rods I love all mind😍
Very informative video, mate. Question: is there much difference between the estuary UL and L rating rods? On paper they look very similar - L is 2lb heavier and 1gram more in lure weight. I wonder if they differ much in terms of taper or action? Or in any other aspect in your opinion? Many thanks.
Hi there James which ones are you looking at Champ in the Estuary Models cause there’s a couple on the Frogleys Offshore Website buddy. Let me know what the Models you are looking at are they 7’0” rods or 6’6
@@fishingallthegearnoidea9802 thanks for your quick reply, mate. I was comparing the 270ul and 270l. Plus, the 270bs is also very close in spec. I do both soft plastic and hard body lures. Just wonder which one will be a better all rounder, if that makes sense? Thank you.
Well if you are choosing a allrounder Rod for Soft Plastics and Cranks I use the Bream Surface AAS-70BS if that Suits you. But if you are only Looking at the Estuary Models I can probably find out for you I only have two rods in that Model which is a 2-6lb & 3-12lb. Also when I look at a rod I find using a whipper rod is great for throwing Cranks and I like a Stiffer rod for Plastics cause. You can work the plastic better then a floppy rod. That’s my opinion anyhow
im_nathan_turner Thank You 🙏 Nathan for your Kind Words🤙 Yeah those Fuji Hook Keepers are Awesome so Handy Indeed. The best thing about them to is if the Rubber rings do Ever break down the track you can replace them with loom bands lol 😂
