Prior any vocal warm up, a good night's rest/sleep is the best way to condition your vocal chords. Warm them up by speaking kind words to yourself in the mirror before your performance. Positivity and good energy helps and goes a long way ✨🎼🎤
😴
Since studio time might be a bit pricey and Some of us won’t have enough ti warm up in the studio. I would recommend that your warm up will be straight up singing and recording the song. Some beautiful and magical takes can come up from not pushing too hard and from 100% feeling. Good luck ya’ll !
Good tip!
I was once told these two tips for singing. When singing low notes don't tilt your head down trying to reach low because this causes stress at the back of the neck and pretty much confines your entire voice system, which is the problem. It also makes breathing more difficult try to look straight ahead or slightly raise your chin and for high notes slightly lower your chin its easier then to do falsetto or any other higher note .
👏
One of the best vocal warm-up techniques I've found is the siren exercise combined with deep abdominal breathing. Start by mimicking the sound of a police siren, going from the lowest part of your vocal range to the highest and back down. This helps to stretch and warm up your vocal cords. Combine this with deep breathing exercises: inhale deeply through your nose, filling your diaphragm, and then exhale slowly while making a gentle hissing sound. This not only warms up your voice but also enhances your breath control and lung capacity, which are crucial for a powerful vocal performance.
Love this! 🙌
I’d recommend combining your warm up routine with a meditation, particularly if you’ve got pre match jitters. Close your eyes throughout, be grateful for your voice and your gig, then visualize a calm mindset and the best version of yourself whilst you warm up the pipes 🤘🏼
🙌
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the valuable content you’re providing. The voice training tips are incredibly insightful and practical. Thanks for sharing such high-quality information! Keep up the fantastic work! 🙂👊🏽💯
You're so welcome!
As a rapper I practice tongue trills and also Tongue twisting words like(She sells seashells by the seashore). It helps with diction and flexible tongue movements for audibility
🐚
Humming for sure!
🫡
Breathe for the phrase, not for the note
This means focusing on taking breaths between phrases or sentences, rather than between individual notes. This helps to create a more natural, fluid sound and allows for better phrasing and dynamics. It's a simple tip, but it can make a big difference in the way you sound!
👏
Best vocal warm up tip is prior to actually doing the warm up, MARSHMALLOWS. Fun fact that I learnt from being a singer is marshmallows were originally made to sooth throats before it became a sweet. And due to its consistency, it softens the vocal chords, making it easier to warm up and sing 🫶🏼🤍
🤩
I think that before any musical performance or warmup, you have to feel the patterns of the song and really enjoy what you are doing, whether thats humming, drinking water.. etc. I often think about how the instrumentals make me feel, where it makes me feel. If it brings back any memories, where did i experience them? Thats what helps me get into character or vocalize well.. its more personal.
So true!
I used Shure microphones in the 70's and 80's...👍
That's so cool!
One good vocal warm up is taking a good yawn with the ha-ha-ha... or ho-ho-ho-ho... sounds
Sunday guggling with warm water
Exercising helps as well
I would love that xx
🖤
Hey guys,
Use a pitch tuner and mimic the sounds
Use a piano and match keys A to F
Jogging or biking weekly for 15-30 minutes max will keep the breathing in check
Natural lozenges will help keep vocals/throat comfortable and mucus down
Meditate to relieve stress and nervousness before performance:>)
Rehearse again and again
Sing your favorite song to get you hype and happy to perform
Great tips! 🔥
Wow... Thanks ❤
🤘
One technique I use every time I warmup is to say Mum Mum Mum on a scale (Or even over a song that allows you to hit all of your range). The key here is keeping a low larynx. Hope that helps hit higher notes :)
❣
Doble HH. Hydration and Humming 😲
😇
Having a hot shower and humming helps a lot as you get everything to mucus etc out and of your throat and I sometimes use the gargling technique ❤
🫡
Hell yeah
I recommend reciting your songs regularly and staying physically active. Being out of breath isn't fun for you or the fans
✅
Sample Routine
1. Breathing Exercise: 5 minutes of diaphragmatic breathing.
2. Lip Trills: 3-5 minutes, moving through different pitches.
3. Sirens: 3 minutes, ensuring smooth transitions.
4. Humming: 5 minutes, starting at a comfortable pitch and moving up and down.
5. Scales and Arpeggios: 10 minutes, starting simple and increasing complexity.
6. Vowel Exercises: 5 minutes, focusing on clarity.
7. Cool Down with Lip Buzz and Vocal Fry: 3-5 minutes.
Consistent practice of these exercises can significantly improve your vocal strength, flexibility, and overall performance.
🫡
Drinking enough water preferably 8 glasses per day works out the magic as it helps with lubrication of the vocal cords.
I want one!
👀
As an artist I’ve been wondering how you properly warm up your voice.
I just sang songs until I felt good 😆
Ahh nice a classic the Shure SM58
🎤
1. Scale Exercises
- Major and Minor Scales:Sing quarter tone and semester : sing a certain note and then sing another note just a half step up and a half step down.
- Arpeggios: Sing a broken chord (D D F A F D F D) to enhance intonation, especially when singing solo as well as voice flexibility.
2. Vowel Sounds
- Thoroughly practice singing using vowels a, e, i, o, u at varying intervals or pitches on the diatonic scale. This aids in fiddling both tone and clarity of the message.
3. Lip Buzzes
- Position the lips softly one against the other and make the sound they create by blowing air. This serves to relax the lips while also warming up the voice.
Tips, for Warm Ups;
Begin with exercises and gradually build up intensity.
Keep yourself hydrated. Avoid consuming caffeine or alcohol before singing.
Pay attention to your bodys signals and avoid straining your voice.
Consistency is vital-make sure to warm up your voice on days when you're not performing. By incorporating these techniques into your routine you can enhance both the health of your voice and your performance quality.

@@dittomusic WOW! Thanks for giving me 100/100. I didn't imagine that a big company like you will reply to me. 💙💙
Thank you
@@UNDEFEATED_RIEL You are welcome
Thanks for the information❤
A great way to relax the vocal chords is to breathe out singing a note and then breathe in passing the air through the vocal chords singing a note. Make yourself sound like a donkey. It sounds hilarious but its relaxes the vocal chords. Do this whenever your voice feels stressed. It works like a charm.
The best vocal technique I use is Mantra sounds🎉🎉
🎤
Eating Lays original potato chips loosen up the ol' vocal cords!!! True fact by many!!!
😳
I know for sure, that nothing you eat (swallow) can reach your vocal cords directly. But some micro pieces of species and crunches, that left in your spit can get down and rich the chords leading to irritation and extra mucus secretion, which causes an unpleasant feeling of blocked throat. One more very important thing is that Larynx in general is very dependent on hormonal changes in a body. It’s a very big issue for all female vocalists
Fantastic news
🙌
❤ I love that 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏾🇿🇦✅
🔥

So true!
To get maximum vocal performance. I sleep with a humidifier and steam. Then I do lip bubbles and sirens . I sing a few Whitney Houston songs . I also practice sustained notes . Drink coat throat tea and honey.

"Breath control is key, relax your throat, and sing from your diaphragm."

Most people don’t know throat clearing is bad for the vocal chords , causing wear and tear to your vocal chords . It’s better you hum or flutter your lips together in notes than throat clearing. Thank me later …❤
A lot of people don’t know this
Drink Plenty of water and improvise 😂😉
Simple!
