Thanks. We just used regular drawer slides and a hinge/strap setup for the tilt. It’s just like this setup here: ua-cam.com/video/l7sQRONAb_0/v-deo.htmlsi=84Edz31SnzY8PU1i

Hi there! Could you tell me how you keep the rear from sagging due to the weight? I'm a newer 4runner owner and want to build my own drawer setup but I assume this will make the rear sag a bit? Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I have heavy duty springs in the rear as part of my Dobinsons lift kit. If you don’t have or want a lift and want a cheaper option to keep the rear of the vehicle from sagging, I’d look into getting some type of airbags for the rear of your 4Runner. Look up the Firestone Coil-Rite Airbags. I hope this helps!
I like the option of taking it in and out and being able to use it in other cars/setups. The dual battery setup is just more involved and more permanent than what I was looking for. If I could go back I would buy a Jackery 1000. I can get about two days out of it. I actually made a video about this: ua-cam.com/video/XYgi6LORApM/v-deo.html
The fridge drawer sliders are 28 inches, rated for 500lbs and only lock on one side, the upper kitchen drawer slides are 36 inches, rated for 500lbs, the lower kitchen slides are also 36 but only rated for 180lbs.
Hey! Nice setup! I'm building the same one here in Kazakhstan. Can you give me a hint about the slides? What are they? Accuride? Update: I'm an idiot. Josh put everything under the video. Thanks man!
Thank you! I apologize for the late reply! Yeah I forgot what brand they were, they’re from Amazon and the link should be in the description like you said. If you look at the community posts from our channel, I attached a cost sheet of how much everything was. It was right about $700 for everything I used.
Awesome video! I was curious what the overall height of your system is or the drawer dimensions? I have plans to build one of my own but I feel like it’s too short to have it setup like yours.. the kitchen drawer looks perfect.
I bought a set from wheels and feels. The DIY 4Runner kit for $400. What a waste of money that was. Directions didn’t have enough screws for assembling or mounting slides. It’s sitting in back of my truck not bolted down because bolts supplied are wrong thread. Build it yourself save money and time.
I’ve always said “drawers are stupid” then I watched your video. If I go that route I plan to emulate your concept. Great video. Great fabrications.
It really depends on how you use your vehicle but the drawers were super helpful. I’m glad I made them because we used them all the time.
Thank you!
Great setup! Simple, yet very functional. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
@@kateandjosh nice setup! What is the ‘strap system’ that tilts the fridge down?
Awesome setup
Thank you!
Very cool! I couldn't imagine spending thousands on a drawer system so here I am lol.
Thank you! Haha I know, they’re expensive. Check out the company called The Adventure Index for drawer plans. They’re pretty similar to what I built.
Dope DIY. Now build one for my ORP lol😅
Hey man great job! I checked out your link for fridge slide as I’m interested in a tilting one also but your link was just for a regular slide.

Wow, this is super nice.
Thank you!
Love it
Thanks!
Can you do an Amazon list for the setup please?
I have the links in the description for the drawer slides I used and other parts.
Nice setup! What tilting fridge slide did you use? I’m looking to do a single drawer with the fridge on top that tilts down and out.

Do you have a cut list or plans for this system?
I’m sorry but no I don’t. It was based after The Adventure Index drawers.
hello what made you choose the jackery 500 vs dual battery setup?
How long does the jackery keep the fridge running?
I like the option of taking it in and out and being able to use it in other cars/setups. The dual battery setup is just more involved and more permanent than what I was looking for. How does the setup do on off-road trips?
It does pretty well! My only complaint was a better way to strap down the water jug. If it was full and no gear was around it, it would slide around.
What’s your lengths on your sliders?
The fridge drawer sliders are 28 inches, rated for 500lbs and only lock on one side, the upper kitchen drawer slides are 36 inches, rated for 500lbs, the lower kitchen slides are also 36 but only rated for 180lbs.

Hey thank you! The height is just 10inches tall, overall the dimensions are 37.5x10x41.5 - L x H x W

I’m really glad we built our own drawer system, it has been great.
