This is exactly what I have experienced with Quick Tips. Thank you so much for this advice! You never cease to impress us with your teaching abilities.
Ohhhhhh, nice! Yup, not a fan of “quick tips!”. They are fun if they have entertainment value, but I don’t take them too seriously. 🤩. Learning music is a slow motion journey around the world 🌎. 😍. Thank you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
As a fairly new beginner (3 months) I also have tried ‘quick tips‘ but often found them difficult to implement because my overall skill level was just not there yet. However, I am continuing with learning all the scales and chords. I am in no hurry. For me it is the journey instead of a quick fix.

You're welcome!
There’s no getting around it.

That's a really good point. It's difficult to tell when that quick tip is applicable to your current level.
excellent advice
Finally, someone tells the truth.
As a classically trained artist, I second this "quick tip". Commonly, the fast track is a poor substitute for good foundations.
100%!
Wait a minute, are your saying that that I can't play a Chopin Nocturne by playing only 4 chords? What about the thousand other songs?
😆
