- I have always wondered a more efficient and "lazy" way to spray detailing chemicals. I put four sprayers through several tests and think I found the answer. Enjoy the video and of course the bloopers at the end.

Thanks for the video. I've watched several on various auto and pump sprayers recently, and it's pretty clear that for this kind of chemical spraying the Solo is the all around best for quality and price.Haven't yet convinced myself I actually need one, but I'm sure I'll pick one up one day for a self christmas or birthday gift.
Making these videos is what gets me to end up buying this stuff. Solo sprayer is amazing and the battery lasts forever. I trust a product coming from a company that makes chemical sprayers for all kinds of industry. The SPTA foaming sprayer is very good as well, btu is $20 more.
I didn't even know about these sprayers. Pretty cool to see all of them in comparison. They all mist pretty well.
I also heard from Kylar that IK now has a pro 2+ foamer that allows you to use compressed air and you can pump it.
Sure Shot has been making pressurized spray bottles for decades. They might be the original patent holders of that design. The first time I saw one was in the early 80s but I think they've been around since the 60s or 70s. The Shure Shot you had in this video is a newer design...I've never seen that one before. The older design ones. which I have 2,. which they still sell and work great can hold up to just about any chemical that you can throw at them. corrosive stuff should be flushed out of them after use. I keep one filled wth WD40, and another one filled with wax and grease remover solvent, pressurized and ready to go.. All the parts can be bought to refurbish them if the o rings go bad or nozzle etc. the schrader valve is just standard, easy to find and replace....Parts availability is a big deal to me. I really like the simplicity of filling it with compressed air. No batteries to charge, no electrical connection to fail, pumps to seize, or motors to burn out. Nice video. Thanks
I worked for Liqui Moly for awhile and every shop I visited most of them were using Sure Shot for Brake Cleaner. That is where I got the idea from. When searching i saw they made a trigger one with an adjustable nozzle so had to pick it up. One chemical i know that shouldn't be stored in them is fallout remover. It really reacts with the metal and leaves black marks on everything and clogs the nozzle. Probably kills the effectiveness of the chemical as well. I tell you one thing about the Solo battery powered one. Its been spraying diluted ceramic spray every wash for two months now and have never charged it. Crazy long battery life.
Who knew all these different sprayers existed... you always see the traditional single sprayer for detailing products. Super cool to see the different types and how effective each one of them can be.
They are super fun to use as well. These toys keep me motivated to have the cars dialed in.
It’s a whole new world to me and oddly addicting.
That's cool how versatile the solo sprayer is. May have to get one for the arsenal. Also iK released their Foam Pro 2+ that you can use an air compressor instead of pumping if you want to check that out for foaming wheels
Might have to do a review on it. I'm actually starting to really like the Sureshot. It really like to agitate the mix and lasts a long time.
That sure shot is no joke 🔥🔥🔥👌🏽 great reviews on all
I’m for sure using it. My cat gets on the table or counter he will be getting a Sure Shot of water. 😂
@@CarsWithKeav 🤣
If I was looking for a sprayer, I would definitely buy the SureShot. They make two versions: one for water/water-based products and one for oil/solvent- based products. The mist coming out is very impressive.
Yeah, I have gravitated to it for the thicker liquids. Tons of coverage using very little product.
Might have to try the Solo sprayer. The ability to switch between different bottles is great.
Another alternative is to add Schrader valve stems to the iK bottles. You can use an air compressor but can still hand pump them so you’re not having to walk back to the garage to pressurize it again.
I have heard of the Shrader valve hack. Have to make sure the input source is regulated or you can easily blow up the bottle.
Great videos like your input especially on your cheap car washing station
question though if you had to pick a foam cannon mtm pf22 griots boss mjjc pro
The MJJC pro is the overall best to me right now. The price is part of that. If money was no object the BOSS is awesome. If you want the best foaming in the world then MJJC Pro all day. If you want that auto metering function then BOSS.
You should check out some of the videos by Martin at Bel Levoro Auto Spa, he does a lot of good reviews on different solutions and I think you guys have a similar vibe.
Anyway he has a dope spta sprayer that's a foamer that has a built in battery powered pump that he uses in lots of his videos and has done a review on.
Will check it out. I have heard IK has a sprayer as well that you can use compressed air, but its for foaming.
Have you tried spraying latex paint thru the sure shot??
I have not, usually most use them for harsh chemicals such as mineral spirits or brake cleaner.
👀👀 Really dope things I don't need, but now kinda want 😬🙃
Like BMW Mods? LOL
Bro I’m beside you right now
That's cool, probably was my wife driving around.
@@CarsWithKeav Yeah it was your wife I thought it was you
detailing with keav
Has a ring to it. LOL
Cool af
But it's for showing off
Depends on the intention. If it keeps me from having to push the trigger 100 times I will be a show off with no regrets. LOL
