I loved these guys when I first heard their beats in 99, still fascinated. I tell my two boys, see what brothers can do? They look at me a little confused but it was the first beats they heard en vitro.
Wow. First time I have ever heard this version of Trapped... amazing!!!! I never knew that version existed... it’s so good. Today was like waking up to a new BoC album.... thanks so much for this...
whats cool is that in midas touch, you can hear a saw pad this saw pad over time into the present day gets richer and deeper, so its almost as if it represents BOC aging
A cave 1 mile long could fit 1 million children and 1 million dogs if it was roughly as wide and everyone had 2ft of personal space. What a sight to behold.
The one thing I would want before I die, is for the brothers to make an official album as Hell Interface. And to at least put Midas Touch on it. Come on guys. Please? 🙏
Someone burned a copy of this for me in 2008 and the cd had a weird remix of "Boogie Down Bronx" by Man Parrish. I lost the cd and have been looking for that remix for years. Is anyone familiar with this SKAM remix? I have to hear it again.
Patrolling discogs. Took buying two copies of it as well, the first was a fake, and I will say they're not cheap. I'm not after a copy of 200 for korona
I think all of these great tracks are also on either A Few Old Tunes volume 1 or 2. I can’t remember since I have those gems on an external hdd. In fact what I need to do is get them into iTunes asap, no BOC should go un-listened for any period of time 😉
Soylent Night is fucking perfection

15 years of listening and I'm still unearthing more mind-blowing material from these dudes. THANK YOU, GEOKAKER!!!

Why have I never heard Midas touch after almost two decades of listening to them 😮
they only wanted to be danceable in secret
GEOKAKER: may everything you touch turn to gold for offering up this immense public service. may KRSNA bless your every endeavour!

Soylent Night is also on V/Vm's "Whine And Missingtoe". it's perfect for a blursed christmas EP.
That Xentrix one was definitely interesting amongst the others.
That shits hit me in a deep place I don’t even want to know about. Crying to the acceptance of a robot dog lol

This is amazing, great work and thank you for sharing !
Just when you think you've heard them all, you find more BoC tracks
It's was pleasant finding this during this dull afternoon at work. Thank you for the upload!

Never heard techno oriented music by BoC. Amazing artists.
Check Boards of Canada - Basefree, probably the closest track to techno from BoC
@@zawiej6085 XYZ, Chinook, Telephasic Workshop, and NLogax are also techno oriented Boards Of Canada tracks.
Midas Touch is so good it's unreal
BoC only choose the best for the Captain's Table
hell yeah thank you
Fantastic ! Thanks a lot !
That midas touch remix is insane...funny I found a song about touching people during a viral outbreak...
And the Colonel Abrams "I'm trapped" remix, oddly applicable to 2020.
Wow! Loving that wonky Midas Touch, if I was a DJ I'd try & mix it with Can I Play With Numbers by Richard X.
Thank you for this. ❤️
Great mix, man. Thanks :)
If JS Bach heard that Magnificat sample in Soylent Night, he’d die of fright
Someone at Disneyland should swap out the Main Street Electrical Parade with Track 3 on their last day of work.

Korona
don't say the c word
Nine Inch Nails' Head Down rhythm is obviously a tribute to "Trapped" 15:47
So trueee
Trapped also sounds like a slowed down version of Carn Marth by Aphex Twin.
coincidence?
WOWthank you
where’d you get this picture?
lucky enough to have a copy of mask500 for midas touch
Bob The Carrot whattt how??!?

Mask 200 has the Hell Interface version of Trapped. I have 500 and 200. Mask 100 has Korona.
BOC always ahead of their time with the KORONA we have been dealing with the last few years....
They really love that Sesame Street sample, huh?

when was korona released under "hell interface", i always thought it was just released under their normal BoC moniker
you are correct - it's not a Hell Interface track

i've got both up, only trapped is on vol 1 and it's a different version
@geokaker Ah ok. I have this “release” anyhow thankfully - haven’t revisited it in some time!

Boards of Canada must’ve been influenced by a lot of R&B and soul/funk?
