- BELTANE YOGA 🧚♀️ sacred creative slow flow for beltane | Wheel of The Year Yoga 🌞🌞🌞 Welcome to this 30min Beltane ritual yoga flow honoring the masculine and feminine, the waxing life-giving sun, and the coming of summer. Beltane, also know as May Day (celebrated on May 1) marks the midpoint of the spring equinox and summer solstice. Beltane themes include fertility, growth, the union of the divine masculine/feminine and the great dance of energies that brings life into this world. We light fires to remember the cycles of creation and destruction vital to the balance of nature. 🔥
Just as Beltane celebrates the forces of masculine and feminine, creation and destruction, the practice of yoga seeks to balance and yoke opposing energies within us, leading to greater harmony and wholeness. 🙏
Let's align with the season. Now is the time to let our creativity flow and to lovingly tend to the growing season in our gardens and in our hearts. May this yoga practice be as a sort of Beltane dance, yoking the spirit of the season with our inner world to bring our deepest desires to fruition. This practice offers lots of opportunities to find your own pace and rhythms. We’ll explore dance-like elements, the masculine and feminine and Beltane imagery. 🎀

Hi!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed. We did some gardening and I baked sourdough bread - I’ve had the same starter for years and I love baking for festivals. 🥖 what did you do??? The full moon class will be up soon! I’m so behind bc I was out of town this weekend 😭

Your classes are phenomenal, each time you create a container for what feels like a ritual, and you guide us through such a meaningful experience. I find that this makes your classes truly special, because you don't just guide us through a class with some generic words here and there about the theme, EVERYTHING about the sequence is a constant embodiment of the theme. No one else does this so powerfully, honestly.
I love how you infuse our movements and mind with vivid imagery (e.g. maypole...), and your intentional music selection isn't just an enhancement for me, it's an integral part of this transformative experience that you guide us through each time.
