@@grandwazoo1696 Finish is will wear depending on how much/how you play. Probably not very fast. My burgundy arrived a few months ago and I chipped the paint on it 2nd night having it. Always gotta get the first one out of the way if you’re gonna be jamming outside of the house w it.
Just picked this guitar up. I actually prefer it over a Mayones Duvell Elite; And that's saying a lot. Absolutely mind boggling guitar / craftsmanship from the Ibanez Japan factory.
Oscar You just have to replace it. Mine hasn’t run out and I play it a lot; but fairly certain if it runs out, it won’t play. Just a 9V battery is all! Hope that helps!
I take my shirt off when I poo not Heavy at all man. Very light guitar. I think the thin neck helps with that. It’s probably my lightest guitar out of my Ibanez and 2 Suhrs.
I take my shirt off when I poo Do you have experience with Ibanez Prestige models? I’ve always felt that they compete with boutique quality for a much lower asking price. Comfortable body, amazingly fast smooth neck, great locking tuners / tuning stability, fast string changes, awesome satin paint job. It’s truly a beautiful guitar in person. I was wowed buy it when I unboxed it. The Fishmans are also insane if you’re going for a modern metal / modern guitar tone. They clean up pretty good too. This guitar is a lot of fun. It plays like butter. I don’t want to tell you how to spend your money but it’s a killer guitar.
I take my shirt off when I poo The Ibanez will be much lighter than the fender. Entirely different guitar so it’s good to diversify for sure. The neck is extremely flat and very comfortable. Very easy to pull of quick leads or chords. It’s one of the more comfortable necks I’ve ever played; but I prefer thinner necks in general. If you’re looking for a modern guitar that’s both looks and plays amazing you can’t go wrong here.
Glad to see you guys demoing this guitar but you got a couple of things wrong. First, the switch in the down position is the "active" sound and the switch in the up position is the "passive" sound, or voice 1 and voice 2 respectively. Second, there are magnets inside the pickups, the Fluence Modern comes with a choice of Alnico V or Ceramic VIII, it's a bar magnet with blades. They function just as any normal pickup would and they're even setup identically to passive pickups when dialing in the height, they're just built upon stacked PCBs rather than wound coils.
If the coils are printed then that explains why they always sound consistently identical. As long as your core material is shaped regularly without voids, etc, and you're controlling the composition...look inside your cell phone, you'll see spray painted antennas lol I'm getting some really weird ideas now...
@@lueysixty-six7300 eh, I m considering buying this and i hate metal and shredding. I like eboby and flat fretboardboards, like classical, and I like stainless steel frets. Too many people think a guitar means a style.
@@redress5 not very smart buying a guitar just for the fretboard. Fishman Fluence moderns are designed for this style of playing, and if you want to play with less gain or clean, there are other pickups that will sound better for that.
On behalf of all that is rock and guitar, I’d like to apologize for the weird butthurt exemplified in this comment section. Most metalheads are level headed and rather curious what the cleans sound like… even if the pickups were primarily made to be dirty.

I came here for the Ibanez review, I stayed for the awesome guitar playing! Awesome job shredding!
Favourite ibanez I've played (and I'm an ibanez fan....). And the pick ups live up to the hype.
Just ordered mine in burgundy.
Dude you are an insanely good guitarist. Some of those runs were really sweet.
Looks great! But don't you have any problems with the paintwork? It seems like it magically attracts fingerprints!
Just bought one a week ago. Absolutely flawless guitar 🤘🏻
How much did the guitar cost and how did you get it? I’m looking at getting me one soon! Thanks in Advance
How is the finish after a year of playing? Is it wearing,

Recently ordered this guitar. Ticks all the boxes for me. FYI, Voice 1 (active high output) is down, and 2 is up, according to the diagram.
You really are a metalhead man,amazing video🤘
This absolutely rips!
Joss is becoming my favorite guitar player on youtube. He is just a beast.
How much difference does SS make on this series? I have a RG652 with nickel, those feel more like medium than jumbo.
