Before leaving negitive comments about elder abuse, there was NO proof of elder abuse, it was made up by money hungry family members.
go to amazon and read "was Mickey Rooney Murdered " if you want some truth please.
Book written byAlan Buckholtz was a Prosecutor for LA County before entering private practice as a civil litigator. He has been a Judge Pro Tem and a Superior Court Arbitrator and Mediator. This is his third book.
A Fraud the Whole World Believed... Until Now
Finally, a fully documented exposé by a former prosecutor with the LA County District Attorney's Office that turns worldwide opinion upside down about the true identities of Mickey Rooney's abusers. A tsunami of accusations were planted in the media by disgruntled relatives. They alleged Mickey's loved ones had been abusing him for years.
It's about jealousy and greed... About the forcible isolation of Mickey from his family... Textbook Elder Abuse... Provable crimes ... A love story, and the legal profession is embarrassed.
Family outcasts plotted to control Mickey and his assets by exploiting his dementia. They stripped him of his once irrepressible life force, layer-by-layer. The outcasts formed an unholy alliance with a major law firm and Mickey's conservator. The foxes were now in the henhouse. He was manipulated into filing a lawsuit against his loved ones for Elder Abuse and stealing $8 million from Mickey over the years. The scandal spiraled into a media feeding frenzy and destroyed lives.
The family had given up until a chance meeting with the author. They gave him Mickey's private records and letters. He scoured court documents and dedicated two years to set the record straight.
Mickey's lawyers billed him almost $1 million for services that the author claims were worthless and even harmful. The courts were misled and a voracious public deceived. After Mickey's death, the outcasts sought revenge by publicly humiliating his ailing widow, and it was ugly.
Credible witnesses reveal admissions by Mickey's caregivers and conservator. Shocking documents discovered just after his death reinforce the strong suspicions of his children that their father was murdered. Marlon Brando, Paul Newman and other stars have publicly acknowledged that Mickey Rooney was the most talented entertainer and the greatest serious actor in the history of Hollywood.
You will be outraged. You will laugh... Maybe shed a tear. - Розваги
Jan and her son robbed and abused Mickey Rooney and killed him.
That’s not true, Mickey Rooney died of old age.
I am speechless by what I just watched. I do not claim to be an expert on the subject but I recognize abuse when I see it. Disturbing perverted and what the heck was everyone that watched this show think? In the end we are our choices. He was married to this woman for decades and together it seems they lived in a sort of hell.
If there was no elder abuse why is there another channel that shows him at hearing discussing the abuse? This woman seems to try to trigger responses from Mickey. In this or another of the series she keeps trying to lean on him in the vehicle..No. Just no.
Ummm, yes he's a bit of a bully but Honestly, Jan is a pain in the ASS! I'd hate to be stuck with her. Always interrupting him and adding BS and when someone is talking to him. Damnnnn, I'd personally go crazy with her!
It was a routine for laughs, you thought it was real because Mickey was that great.
Oh bull shit. She's perfect for him.
Itty Bitty, Mickey Rooney's children agree with you. They are extremely angry with her.
a star for jan and mickey rooney who is jan rooney?
MsBenlane The only relation Jan has to being a celebrity is stealing and abusing an elderly Mickey Rooney.
Jan’s long and illustrious career as a singer and actress in concerts, T.V., Films, commercials, voice-overs and radio began with singing in a church choir.
An accomplished musician, Jan enjoys playing the guitar and Piano. Many of the songs in her repertoire are songs she has composed. She has been performing with her husband, legendary entertainer, Mickey Rooney for over 25 years. They are currently doing their successful “One Man One Wife Show” wowing audiences worldwide. In recognition of her outstanding talent and achievement in live stage performance, in April of 2004 The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce awarded her a Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame for Live stage Entertainment.
Jan has two sons and nine stepchildren. She lives outside L.A., in Ventura County with her husband Mickey of over 25 years, and their two birds. They share a love of music, theater and animals.

@@ChrisAber Lol Ok Chris, you're a good promoter for your mom. Would she have been in those performances, if she wasn't Mickey Rooney's wife? Probably not. I will say she is a good singer though.
Jan was unknown in the world of entertainment until she latched onto Mickey... How she ever got her name on the walk of fame? Married into it. Then abused the old guy to death while bleeding him dry and cackling with her bum of a son. Guy dresses like poof.
This show should not have been aired. So got on my nerves.
What the he'll he wasn't perfect ! But what's the he'll is wrong with her?
What a trainwreck this show would have been......terrible reality show format and everything.
and to think that family dragged Rooney out just for him to spend and get free meals and stories on his days smh so sad
I know in some of these comments say hes grumpy but i read he was being abused by his step son and chris and his wife thats prob why he acting up sad r i p mr rooney
Mickey Rooney was never abused.
He cried off and on or was on the verge at times. Which shows he was under much stress....so sad😥
@@Paul-vc8on The person Chris Aber, that you were talking to and who posted this video, is Mickey Rooney's stepson. Of course he is going to deny. He doesn't need to read the Hollywood Reporter, because he was there.
@@ChrisAber yes he was, stop lying.
MR was still a star . Imo he wanted to be honored and respected for his contribution to the business as an elder.Human and flawed. The wife ? Omg!
Wtf would they put her name on his star...
This is sad 😢
It is because of how they abused him
From what I've seen and heard all over, Jan was abusive in their real life the years before he died...sad to say😔💔
sorry you're wrong, Jan was never abusive, please stop reading tabloid journalism 🤦♂️.
@@ChrisAber well...i pray i am wrong sir and noone on social media really knows the truth, but those involved and God himself...its just that all of it is coming out here looking that way...and i mean no disrespect to you or his family....but i sure hope I'm wrong. I pray for all of you that it isn't true...if it is there is help for the victim as he sought out and also for the one who caused it...because people can change and if it's true...I pray they got that help...but it's really between them and God now. I'm glad that Mr. Rooney can be at rest and have a bright future ahead. Take care in all that we are going through in this virus.
@@ChrisAber His daughter did an interview and said he was abused by his wife. She's lobbying for elder abuse laws. That's not tabloid journalism. 🙄
LOL the guy telling you to stop reading tabloids because Jan never abused him--is her son. One of the main culprits in his abuse.
The Turtle hey turtle why don't you put your money where your mouth is, if you can prove it with one bit of evidence I'll pay anyone $5000, and if you don't you pay me?
You can remove the comments, Chris... but you captured the abuse on camera and then had the smarts to post it... brilliant, dooder.
Some real grifters surrounded him
Lived twice as many years as Judy
Read the full comments above. Just hair-raising. What a bunch of lies (I mean refuting the abuse).
Sad the way they exploited this man.
A pure legend --. Mickey Rooney
Roberta Hubert I it was so obvious that he was made to go or do things he did not want. So sad 😞
he was very happy to cash the $30,000 check they gave him for a car ride
@@ChrisAber yes and you probably got your greedy hands on it
@@susanbraukhoff5266: Thank you Susan, I was going to comment just that :)
Hag!!!!
He should have divorced this crook a long time ago.
How sad and grotesque is this
Wife and Stepson exploited that poor man
Jesus, his 6th wife was the original Karen! She wouldn't leave him alone, and her son took all his money. Poor guy. Such a talent... love those old movies of his.
She was his 8th wife.
I counted that was his 9th wife?
I'd love to see more of this footage. There must be a lot more of it.
This is aweful....
Yep, Mickey made a lot of poor career choices.
I don't think his legacy has suffered from not being in "Dancing with Wolves".
I love Mickey! I didn't know they had a reality show! Where was it aired?
WhatIsThis it wasn’t, nor was it picked up. This was just a reel they made to try to sell the idea.
He should have created a UA-cam channel...!
I love Mickey Rooney! He was like a normal person. But stubborn in his old age. Such a good person he seemed.
I can't....this lady an her son .
I saw the Jan and Mickey Rooney thing live on stage ... One Man, One Wife Show or whatever it was. She was totally unimpressive. And there she is badgering him about movie roles he turned down. Does she have an inkling of how many classics he starred in? Just "The Human Comedy" alone is one for the ages.
In all the day about her , I get the feeling he wasn’t that easy to live with either
I am wondering why her step son is going everywhere with them. They both killed him.
12:01 Jan got what she deserved, because of how she was abusing Mickey Rooney, and she does not even deserve to have her with Mickey Rooney on the star.
This women. Finagle her way onto Rooney Hollywood Star but yet keeps Chamberlin in her last name with Rooney.
WHERE WAS ANY1 IN Mickey real family? ??? To come in and put stop to this
love it!
Itty bitty you said it perfect.
He was a very very talented man it’s a joy to watch the Hardy movies
lol OMG he was wonderful even at that age.
She is mean!
He's a bitter old man.
No
Carson K You would be bitter too if you worked since childhood and your 7th wife and her son took advantage of you and abused you. It's sad really sad. 😢
Shame on you. Mickey Rooney was awesome unfortunately the end of his life was ruled by two trolls.
A cranky little git lolol this made me laugh lord rest him x
Hey Chris, I just finished "The Life and Times of Mickey Rooney" by Lertzman and Birnes, which could have done with a good editor. Not one of the better books I've read. The authors repeat themselves frequently, contradict themselves and get some things wrong (one error I doubt anyone else picked up- they say Mickey opened on Broadway in "Sugar Babies" on Thursday October 9, 1979, but that was a Tuesday, something I'll always know because my radio career began on the 8th, a Monday!), but it was the first Mickey biography I've read and although I had seen stories of his tribulations, I had no idea how bad it was for him... and those around him. Even in the early pages, I was thinking "this guy was bipolar", being so myself, so I recognised the symptoms- spending wildly and irresponsibly, gambling, promiscuity, temper tantrums turning to adorable antics, outrageous ideas that seem SO brilliant, as do OTHER peoples' stupid ideas! I also know, because I put many through it, how difficult it is for friends and family members to deal with someone bipolar. It's amazing how UA-cam is populated by so many perfect people, always ready to condemn others, having no idea what those peoples' lives are REALLY like. I'm sure you made mistakes (who hasn't) but life isn't something one can bone up on in preparation. you have to deal with the situations as they come, but one thing I picked up from the book that is also instantly recognisable from this video (which the authors of that book mentioned): No one could have told Mickey what to do. I know, because no one could tell me what to do and I'm just an ordinary guy, not a guy who held the world in the palm of his hand (and was drugged from a young age with uppers and downers for maximum usage as Mayer's performing monkey), only to lose it all. God bless you, for trying, maybe not always succeeding, but trying is all we can do (when we aren't as perfect as all those in the threads below!) When any of my videos start being over-populated by trolls, I just disable the comments!
Jerry Lewis was very much the same, and had a lot of the same issues unfortunately. Most people don't understand or care to understand why he did the things he did.
