My family come from the East End , we have lived there for 100s of years. We were screaming about this 40 years ago. We saw what was happening. We were pilloried put down, labelled the obligatory " wascist". That label is now omnipresent, it is now the default position. Has been for a long, long while. It is now used as the bat with which to beat us. We are now watching the capitulation of government, Faith, and even our Royal family. This can only go one way. We, those of us who lived in the East End forecast this. We weren't wrong.
@globalpropertyinvestment My Friend I have heard that since I was 10 years old. It never happened then, it will not happen now, sadly. Michelle, have you ever asked anyone to pray for you? Have you ever prayed for anyone else that needed your prayers? The next time someone asks you to pray for them just tell them to pray for themselves. What do they need your prayers for if they are capable of praying for themselves? Do Protestants not pray for each other or refuse to pray for others?
@@MichelleStaunton-zq8eg Catholics pray in the name of Jesus also. In fact, we were praying in the name of Jesus for over 1,500 years before Martin Luther came along with his heretical Protestant reformation. Among his most heretical reform was taking away your friends and intercessors (the Saints) and your spiritual mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Great Mother of God. Before you continue to blaspheme God’s holy Saints by simply referring to them as “dead people,” maybe just take a few minutes and educate yourself about them and why Catholics venerate them. Because these were incredibly spiritual people that lived their lives in the imitation of Christ and performed great deeds for humanity. Even miracles. And they often suffered greatly for doing so. But they did it all for the love of Christ. Since it’s St. Patrick’s day, learn about him and his incredible life and contributions to Christianity. I’ll pray for you that God forgives you for the hate and vitriol that you seem to have for his holy Saints. May you be given the grace of discernment and the wisdom to learn about some Catholic theology. I think you might be surprised what you learn.
The tidal wave of moral degeneracy which began as a trickle at the Church of England's 1930 Lambeth conference has got ordinary people frightened and disgusted. Islam pretends to be a solution to the problem as they perceive it.

On Friday, I assisted a client who was appearing at court in London. Whilst waiting, he laid out for me what his time was like in prison, which he stated was fertile ground for 'militant Islam'. A burly gentleman sitting close by informed my client that he was not to speak in this manner and that, as a Muslim, he was offended. I would emphasise, I was at work fulfilling my duties - however on this occasion, I felt compelled to address this gentleman stating 'you'll have to live with offence, like we Christians do everyday'. In hoc signo vinces +.
Religions and groups that pedal hate and death should be excluded from our historically Christian heritage. This may exclude some 'Christian' cults too. The Woke and Islamist agendas both specialise in easily 'being offended'. By contrast, The True God's chapter on Love, has Love not being easily offended / provoked. 1 Corinthians 13, 🙂
Vast numbers of lawyers are now Muslim. Some are judges. Thin end of the wedge - a ffth column of subversion. We face an existential threat. Our entire culture will be wiped out unless we decide otherwise. /
I want an offence of ANGLOPHOBIA put into law. It is time the English showed a bit of backbone and stood up for our culture and possibly even Christianity? The Irish had a street demonstration of faith whereby a crowd men knelt in the street and recited the Rosary. Publicity should be given to various Corpus Christi processions in English cities.as well as the Walsinham Pilgrimage.
This is the way. I've seen many online Christians get angry at the public prayers by Muslims, in which they take up entire streets to bow before their god-but the truth is that the anger is at the weakness of our own culture to match and exceed that level of public devotion. Muslims easily convert poorly catechized Christians and non-believers precisely because from the outside their piety surpasses that of most Christians they have encountered-to say nothing of the outright embarrassing and blasphemous practices of the more exuberant protestant sects which place a strong emphasis on evangelization, thereby making their practices synonymous with Christianity in the minds of those who don't know any better (looking at you, pentecostalism).
The problem with that idea even though I liked yiur comment is there is no anglo phobia, instead there are definite opportunistic populism to use colonial history or rather half history or false narratives which are often used in non european places to gain public space and muslims ,most of them actually use that populist environment to further theirbown islamic empire or wgatever ideas throughout the world and ti my astonishment even inside UK and Europe. Offcoursr there are exceptions but the big problem of islam is there is no space for dissenting opinion or parallel narrative or opinion on matters of religious propagation or ambition. Thats a fact. So islam is definitely a danger for europe and us and ongoing gaza genocide will be used as a strong weapon by islamic world pretty soon if not already even if in all actuality that will ne coming at the cost of thousands of innocent lives there. The important thing to understand is that islam cannot be countered by force, and while it can idealy be countered by love and empathy that situation also involves an element of risk of individuals and fissures within society and therefore return to violence and subsequent excuses, victimhood and counter islamic push. So it is important that doors of non islamic world is regulated very strictly for muslims in particular and their population put under close monitoring and continue following up with traditional christian way of life. P.S: I thought of adding this, like most things every society has multiple weak points, including christian society. One of the weak point i feel is propagating an extremely liberal culture on the lines of the hippie culture of 60s and subsequent loss of control over self. While that period had probably resulted from previous tight control of society and mostly as a protest response to that it had led to extremely liberal ideas that bordered on extravagantly open ideas and subsequently an alarming loss of self control. So what had probably started as asking for loosening of social control progressed into loss of self control. As i found out we can live our lives in many different ways, however we cannot live our lives totally as we wish because we also have to interact with others with whom we will move further and further away as we do that , besides the basic fact that we are born with certain life long characteristics which will be our boundaries of any experimentation with ourselves. All these factors are already inside the knowledge of many human beings of other places, particularly places with ancient settlements like middle east, south asia and i feel also africa whose ancient settlements are probably not yet fully understood or discovered. Infact it will be common across most if not all tropical and sub tropical regions. So by experimenting too much to the extremes one will be comfortably landing in the psychologically grip of people who had ages of experience on those and it will become an unequal competition thereon. Also tropical people are much more powerful in mixed demography environments than those further from it. Irrespective of religion or culture. So maintaining social homogeneity is important and i believe people outside of the tropics feel that inherently. And having control over self is also important because the other possibilities are endless and could lead to suffering.
Better still, rip up all the "hate" laws and "phobia" laws and judge people by what they've actually done (theft, assault etc) according to objective standards.

I left in 2015. I was able to get my child into a CofE school but my neighbours didn't and their kids went to schools where the majority was muslim. A school trip to a Cathedral was cancelled as the muslim parents wouldn't let their kids go and there weren't enough teachers to then stay behind with them and others to take the children on the trip. When a trip to the mosque was planned later the British, Eastern European and Christian African parents decided to do the same to prove a point. Of course they were considered islamophobic. At Christmas my daughters little friend at another mainly muslim school was so crestfallen as he saw all the Christmas events and traditions that she did at school. @@adrianmizen5070 Maybe the principalities in central Europe considered Christianity to be inconsistent with nationalism, and so they rejected Catholicism and introduced Protestantism.
Yes, but you have to maintain the fight. You can't be so pollyanna and stupid as the people of the West have been. We all were acting like life should be one big entertainment after another. We rejected God in the public sphere and in our homes. We gave up the fight, quit believing and became weak and stupid. Jesus said "blessed is he who is not ashamed of Me." That very clearly implies what happened to God's blessings when you become ashamed of Him. I am praying Cardinal Burke's 9 month novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Prayer is our main weapon now.
I recently re-watched a couple of memorial videos of Elizabeth the Great's death and funeral. Very moving...but I was moreover moved that this might be also the death of the Britain that has given so much to the world: not only industry, engineering, form of government, elimination of slavery from the West, but a huge enterprise for the gospel over many centuries. I pray not, of course, but many more people need to stand up, get into power and proclaim the gospel. Not the street corner largely waste of time, but be able to have gospel conversations, one to one, man to man. The church needs to rapidly swing from 'museum of quaint ceremonies' to hot with evangelism. I've been to cathedrals (and heard bishops) that are about as far from the Easter faith as Lands End is from London. The pulse of the evangel is absent.
I am afraid those bishops and pastors first lost themselves their own faith in the supernatural nature of God. When they can no longer truly believe in the miracles of Jesus Christ and no longer believe there is a hell or even a real heaven they have lost the faith entirely. Only a true believer can pass on the faith. Faith is contagious when you are a true believer. I noticed this loss in the Protestant faith more than 40 years ago. A relativism had crept in and they became lukewarm. It felt as if there was ritual galore but priests were simply acting a role. The Church felt empty because I did not feel God’s true presence there. I went searching for the true faith and a place where true belief in a supernatural God still was alive. I became a Catholic and have never regretted it no matter if problems arose in the Church because God was truly there.
It's good but sad that our brother in Christ Gavin , should put this into words. I just pray the Almighty might intervene to stop this horror from happening, for the sake of our children.
Thank you for your excellent, very courageous comments on the "religion of peace" and the ways in which we are prevented from talking about its downsides and dangers. Unfortunately, the present "Pope" is blind to these realities and actively promotes the idea of three "Abrahamic religions". Even if he is (probably ?) moved by good intentions - the prevention of conflicts and violent deaths - as a theologian (?) and Catholic (?) leader he should (re)affirm the claims our Church has always made and extend the invitation to peaceful dialogue and conversion (!) our Church has always extended to Islam (and to everybody else) instead of watering down important distinctions and handing our Western world over to a culture and way of thinking which no-one in his right mind could wish to live under. (Or do they?) The looony left is so bent on eradicating (the remains of) Christianity (and so ignorant) that they are just as blind, and the silent majority has simply given up any resistance under the influence of the constant brainwashing and the constant accusations of racism and xenophobia. I read Houellebecq's (prophetic) novel years ago, and it seems to me to present a realistic scenario now, in France, in Britain and elsewhere.
Wonderful observations and analysis. Spot on and too many wish to turn a blind eye to what ia happening! Frightening lack of backbone and understanding from the West
Recently, our Archbishop announced that Parish Pastoral Councils were to be set up in every Parish in the Archdiocese. Out of interest, I have had a look at how this is operating, in practice, in those Dioceses where such Pastoral Councils have already been set up. I found one on the other side of the country and I won’t embarrass the Parish concerned by naming it. It starts off by setting out its “Mission Statement”. This commences, of course, with the call to preach the Gospel. The Gospel is then defined “God’s love for the World.” That’s it. Nothing to upset the Moslems, Jews, Buddhists, or members of any other religion. An opening to syncretism, indifferentism and universalism. These are the heresies which currently threaten the Church. Well, you might ask, how should “the Gospel” be defined if something more than “God’s love for the world” is to define it. Firstly, there must be a reference to original sin. Then, there must be a reference to the need for a sacrifice to atone for sin. Then, there must be an explanation as to how the unsatisfactory animal sacrifices of the Old Covenant have now been replaced by the once and for all, perfect sacrifice of Jesus, God made man, for the expiation of sin for all those who believe in him. When the Apostles were commissioned to go into all the world, they were instructed to preach “The Gospel of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.” A Gospel message which does not include a call to repentance, does not explain the need for forgiveness of sin, of the effect of sanctifying grace, or the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross as an atonement for sin, of the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist as perpetuating and making new that sacrifice in the Mass, cannot be considered to be “the Gospel” as understood by the Catholic Church. A Gospel reduced to a single, safe, unobjectionable message of the love of God for the world cannot save, on its own.
I was in an Indian restaurant with my wife and enjoying the meal until the point when the young manager, after most of the customers had finished their meals and left, came over and joined us at our table. Whilst we were served coffee, he then proceeded to preach to us about Islam being the true religion and that Christianity was false, built upon the lie that Jesus was divine and died on the cross. He invited us to go to an open day at a mosque in Bradford where we would be warmly welcomed, treated to Indian food and be taught more about the faith of Islam. That one encounter at a local Indian restaurant made me go cold inside and made me realise that my wife and I were just a few steps away from becoming citizens of a Muslim country, not a Christian (or even post-Christian) one. Whilst those who purport to be Christian, like the Archbishop of Canterbury, are busy promoting mass immigration, those doing the immigrating, mainly Muslims, are saying ‘Thanks very much, and whilst we are at it, we’ll have the country as well, seeing as how you no longer consider it worth defending.’ And so they are, boldly and quite in the open, empowering themselves throughout our land, whether it is in my local curry house or praying en masse outside Downing Street. And our government acts by considering how to phrase new Islamophobia laws to protect the Muslims as they do so….. I fear the UK will not wake up to what it is about to lose because she has already lost it.
How is it that they can pray en masse out in Downing Street without any repercussions, yet a white, Christian, British man who stood outside of an abortion clinic by himself and admitted to praying was arrested and charged and brought before the courts. The last I saw of his case, he was in serious trouble and frankly, if I were in his position, I would not have admitted to silently praying outside that clinic, even if I were. I'd have put it down to a senior's moment or something else. But the inconsistency of the law, it's appalling.
@@K-bq3lv - Absolutely right, but the inconsistency is intended, as we saw also in the contrast between how Black Lives Matter demonstrations in London were policed as against anti-lockdown protests. Muslims are taught from birth to attack the key Christian beliefs. The key beliefs of Islam contradict the central tenets of Christianity. The Quran describes Christian beliefs as the most evil ideas possible and says that the very heavens shake with outrage at the very existence of Christianity! These facts are why the spread of Islam is the number one issue and while other issues may have their own importance, Christians shouldn't get distracted
Good for you Gavin ~ a voice in the wilderness! Another man who saw this 60 years ago said: "Those whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad." ( I think anyone objectively looking at extant Western culture and behaviour, would have a hard time proving otherwise.) This man however, has been vilified ever since, I bet he's now laughing his head off. Generally, if the plebs believed the moon is flat, the politicians would agree, in order to get the vote. Labour (aka the WOKE-GREEN party) has a large Muslim demographic, the MPs who represent them will adopt their ideas in order to keep their jobs. (Look at the latest by-election for example.) Politicians are by nature, chameleon. They are a self-serving bunch of survivalists, who, especially over the last 30 years, are also, now, "SHAME" lobotomized. Nothing embarrasses them and nothing (in their opinion) is too morally obscene to warrant removal. "I made a mistake..." is their mantra. Their moral (such a non-PC word now), behaviour is obscene. Yes, this country and indeed every European country is set for a MAJOR cultural change, and Christianity, unless saved by mass immigration from Catholic countries is lost therein, it's just time now; the freedoms we now have left will be taken from us, the offspring of those who facilitated it will suffer the most, "sins of the fathers." I'm glad I won't be around to see the destruction in full. Vivat Christus Rex!
He coined the term "Chrislam" in that novel. Unfortunately he was prophetic. I attended an inter-faith service in Wells Cathedral in early 2020, in which an imam preached the Koran. And nobody objected. The clergy of the cathedral have invited evil into the midst of the congregation. Attempts were made to prevent it, but they went ahead anyway, despite numerous objections. The Church of England is an enabler and encourager of evil.

Yes we each need to lift our game and play our part to atone and amend our ways ...one person I listened to said that Marxism is using Islam against Christianity, but will turn on it as well...that is a scary thought
Anything with a global domination aspiration willing to use deception and then force when able is rather scary. There are numerous groups and nations doing this today. Islam and China (communism) both are willing. Some seem to think the West or Christianity has in some form but oddly enough how many fled the places these other religions/ideologies have controlled? Those who complain about the West may well see what it is like if Christianity is pushed out of any place of power and governance by these competing ideas. I imagine it will be much like described in Daniel a beast like no other similarly drawn from Daniel the Book of Revelation describes such a future (near?) time.
Are there any other groups that use their status as both a political and religious leverage in order to avoid criticism or understanding of their true agenda?
Climate catastrophism is both religious and political in nature. Anyone - scientists, students, mainstream politicians etc - who disagree are cast out, while its dogma continues to encourage school pupils to remain childless "for the sake of the planet".

If we were all to stand up for civilised values (esp Christian ones) this crisis could spell the eventual end of Islam as a rising force, and enlightened British ex-Muslims could throw off this false religion and go out and show others how they have been deceived by their Imams. Thank you for this, Gavin, I am going to share it widely. I have been awake to the threat of Islam for a long while and I have often felt that its Allah is not one and the same as the God of Christianity and Judaism. I was intrigued to hear you say so and I wonder where an explanation can be found.
I am so glad that people are finally realizing what Islam truly represents. I have been banging on about Islam for decades and have been accused of racism which is just a convenient way of silencing people like me. This has nothing to do with race or individuals - it is about the ideological clash between Islamic values and secular democratic values.
It's something about the English as a race that they will not act till their backs are literally against the wall. Then they can fight extremely well. But a definite line has got to be crossed. Then & only then do we seem to fight back, as if to give the antagonist every chance to back away. This was said by a German General during the 2nd World War who understood the British psyche. Maybe this will apply in this case.
I believe that will probably be so. But, I think people had best be prepared for thr possibility that even that may not maintain the country (or more broadly the west and Christiandom) in exactly the way it was. By that I mean, we might find some territories are lost

Singapore knows how to control Islam. However the cost is all faiths are equally controlled. Originally it was to prevent Malaysia taking over Singapore after independence from Malaya. The approach was forced integration of Malays into Singapore society. Malays still have unique privileges e.g. children can leave school in Fridays for mosque prayers. Unity is the objective of the Nation Day pledge. Islam has to be ‘depoliticised’ as in Singapore. Their faith and culture is not controlled, but separatism is not allowed. It’s probably too late for us!
Religion or the State. These tend to be the options. Choose wisely, choose Christ. States are beasts. Other religions have always had a place of a controlled territory. It seems most have chosen to migrate only to certain territory where one religion is prominent though that man be coming to an end with the rejection of that religion by many people. JMJ pray for us!

I want an offence of ANGLOPHOBIA put into law. It is time the English showed a bit of backbone and stood up for our culture and possibly even Christianity?
The Irish had a street demonstration of faith whereby a crowd men knelt in the street and recited the Rosary.
Publicity should be given to various Corpus Christi processions in English cities.as well
as the Walsinham Pilgrimage.
No religion, no backbone. Anglicanism is not the religion of the English and isn’t the religion of Gavin Ashenden.
From an American of British ancestry, hear! hear!
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Yes, but you have to maintain the fight. You can't be so pollyanna and stupid as the people of the West have been. We all were acting like life should be one big entertainment after another. We rejected God in the public sphere and in our homes. We gave up the fight, quit believing and became weak and stupid. Jesus said "blessed is he who is not ashamed of Me." I recently re-watched a couple of memorial videos of Elizabeth the Great's death and funeral.

Who was Rudolf von Sebottendorf?
Thank you, Dr Ashenden. I admire your intellect greatly.

As far as I can tell the covenant has not been replaced. Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfil it.

Whilst those who purport to be Christian, like the Archbishop of Canterbury, are busy promoting mass immigration, those doing the immigrating, mainly Muslims, are saying ‘Thanks very much, and whilst we are at it, we’ll have the country as well, seeing as how you no longer consider it worth defending.’
And so they are, boldly and quite in the open, empowering themselves throughout our land, whether it is in my local curry house or praying en masse outside Downing Street.

'May God in his mercy lead us through these times; but more than that, may he lead us to himself.' (Bonhoeffer)
They are very very smart and most importantly stick together and have a purpose. They are playing on both sides go to any town or city and see who is running the criminal side of things go into a jail see who runs the jail then go see who's in charge of that same town or city local council maybe even the mayor . Islam is a political movement and a very strong one with rigid rules
thank you
Yes in my home county EIRE there was an objection raised by local muslims the about the crib (nativity) situated at the entrance of the shopping centre. The priest injected and said "NO" Christmas starts with Christ and the crib
rather he INTERJECTED
Dear Lord this is very difficult to hear. ( said out loud). All one’s own thoughts coalesced into a clear exposition of all one has suspected in these last number of years. Thank you Dr Ashernden for what may be later deemed as subversive and deserve punishment. Your speaking out makes one want to retreat straight into denial and pretend it is not happening AND yet the truth of what you say also encourages one to dig deep into Our Saviour Jesus, to walk with Him through this and face the fact that deep down that He is our ONLY real refuge together with our Blessed mother.❤❤
Saint Michel protect you and yours+++
@MichelleStaunton-zq8egYou are a heretic. Betraying the faith of your ancestors & the early church. You are missing out on the fullness of the Christian faith.
Thank you. Bless you.
Saying Islamophobia is just away of saying shut up an put up with it,an we have ,been put down an fear for the future of our country,an the world we knew,
Great work Gavin. Thank you!
I am reminded of Christopher Hitchins who spoke out at the beginnings of U.K's Islamic 'tolerance', he said it would soon be too late to object to Sharia law being imposed by local councils of the dominance of Islam over traditional Christian Britain, of British culture being subsumed, and contemptuously set aside: our benign support for freedom and tolerance for all became our very undoing, few suspected a religion would so hostile and aggressive. ua-cam.com/video/0EYg8Tgrh0o/v-deo.html
Thank you Dr. Ashenden. God Bless you. DG.
We need to rediscover the spirit of the Polish cavalry who charged into the melee at the Gates of Vienna in 1683 and sent the religion of pieces packing.
Seems we have a big problem, hate to see what the answer is,might have to start going to church on a Sunday instead of shopping centre,
