Question, if you have all the steps to build delta tech buildings on planets done, but it doesn't allow you to build any of them, is this a mod big or a loading bug?
Well if you have the Enigmatic Palace on a planet, and you have unlocked a delta tier building you should be able to build it. I have no clue, maybe you have a mod conflict going on, or you missed something, I can't really give an answer without more details.
the mod is an essential for me now. this should have been the natural progression of stellaris due to the fallen empires being a thing, like when you first see their glowing buildings and tall sleek ships, you’re thinking,”man I could be like that one day. no more smashing atoms together like a fucking monkey. sexy ass dark matter reactors and shit”. nope, vanilla blue balled me when I was still mining for coal like a peasant even as I bombarded the fallen empires’ magic mineral makers

Every time I see the Hyperion mentioned I smile despite myself, because I was the one who suggested the name for the ship when Chiru was thinking about ship names. Plus that new look it got just grabs me.
Oh really, you were the one who suggested it? That's really neat, and yeah the new Hyperion model looks amazing, it's much better and a lot more unique than the previous one
@@marsmelon24_official It is not that the texts are read in a language other than English, it is that they can be read even if it is in English instead of reading a code. That even if you play the game in another language, the mod is at least legible and reads in English instead of a gibberish with dashes and signs strange to ordinary people. No translators, it's something that many mods have to make them compatible with versions of the game in other languages, even if the mod texts then remain in the original language, at least it can be read.
Genuinely speaking my friend, this video is an art in stellaris community. I knew about ACOT since overlord dropped, but I was always hesitant as it was a gargantuan mod. Thanks to you my friend it is much more simpler now. Keep up the good work!
5:20 on a sidenote, by the time you unlock dark energy it's more than likely you already have a large amount of dark matter pdoduction, so it's advised that you aim for more dari energy production. not to mention that unless you have the ressource patch mod, you won't see your monthly dark energy income.
I mean yeah, you can't find DE anywhere in the galaxy, so you should focus on Dark Energy I guess. Although they're equally as important, only in Alpha the usage of Dark Energy increases Well all modded resources won't be displayed without URP, I think ppl are aware of that.
I love how this mod gives some lore to the npc factions, that part of the curators asking for a scientist implies they are formed by members of civilizations that undertood dark matter
I always head canon that Dark matter is the the stellaris game irl tapping into my computer to power the empire, considering how loud my fans get by the time I get the damn tech.
Wow I am glad I found this video when I did. Currently in a game myself and had no idea how to use the celestial forgers. This beats going through the outdated PDF. Great work, as ACOT is a bit more complicating then the more understandable gigastructures IMO.
ACOT is such a work of love. Maybe someday I'll have a computer that will allow me to play it past delta [sometimes alpha] tier. "I put a lot of work into the video." Yeah, you did. This is excellent, and broken up well so viewers can see what parts they want and avoid spoilers. Nice job!
I know our comment is old friend, but I wanted to say you can easily play this mod and all its sub mods as well as have the mod gigastructures on a simply standard stock laptop. I've been doing it for years 😅. The only real recommendation would be that to install a mod that makes the galaxy size smaller like 50-100 stars and minimal alien empires like 3-4. Not the best but it works. 😅
@@tungstenerian8699 This might help someone else out there, I've dropped out of Stellaris entirely since Pdox pissed me off with their treatment of HBS. Not opening a thread for discussion here, it's just my opinion.
@@reign6870 From what I've seen and read [I haven't done a deep dive], they basically forced HBS to make Lamplighters League, and then when it didn't perform to Pdox's expectations, they cut 80% of HBS and then kicked them to the curb. I'm still going to play Stellaris with some friends, but not buying anything further from Pdox. BattleTech has been my fav setting since I was a child, and I was really looking forward to HBS putting out a sequel to BattleTech [2019]. Don't see that happening now that they have been gutted and no longer have the monetary backing of a publisher.
A while ago, I would play, and runic would be the really **enigmatic** tech, with stellarite being very normal to happen upon... it wasn't until later that I found out that they essentially switched around the technologies, with Sigma being the highest tier, and runic being the 2nd highest.
Great guide, thank you! By the way, when a fallen empire demands you to get alpha-tier technologies, there are actually more ways to say no. Once I had a ruler with charismatic trait if i remember correctly, and then the option to deceive them appeared. We pretended to give them technologies but actually sent them a bomb that blew the hell up their capital xDD it became a cracked world lmao. They still declared war on me tho but without the capital they became a lot weaker. May be there are even more hidden options like this?
You're welcome! Oh yeah Chiru told me about it on the ACOT discord server, I had no idea this was actually a thing. You do need a leader with the charismatic trait, however they need to be at level 10. Ngl this is pretty hilarious lmao Who knows if there's more stuff like this hidden within the mod, you'll have to scour through the mod's files to find out ig
@@michael_stellaris I've delved through the mod's files before on multiple occasions and I tell you, there really is a lot of funny stuff that can happen at random
You should do a mini episode on the Universal Gateway Origin mod. I say mini cause it doesn't add too much but I think it's great for what it is. I'd love for the mod to get more attention as I see a lot of potential. Best way I can describe it is an immersive cheat mod with new techs, events, and megastructures. It's an awesome mod to get right into things and try stuff you'd normally not be able to realistically do like printing star systems, building the quasi-stellarcraft, fighting the Lux Aetreum, Infinite Probability Kaisar, or even fighting the Obliterator Blokkats, or whatever other max powered faction/crisis you'd ever wanna brawl it out with and atleast have a fighting chance. Oh and there special lore and interactions with the Kaisar too which I think is awesome. And the origin flavor is just broad enough to where you can play any kind of empire immersively. And you do have to research everything which I see as a good thing because stuff like playing as the Stellarborn who have everything unlocked right away tend to break the game. Aka never touch unlock_all_technologies if you use a lot of mods especially but it'll break some vanilla stuff too.
Huh I swear I left a reply here, UA-cam is acting weird again lol I think i've seen it before on steam, I could include it in the "Mods For Something" series (god I really need to come up with a better name for it) in a video about origins or overpowered mods. Thanks for the suggestion!
What a great video. It's sad that all the big youtubers have barely touched the biggest mods, basically non-official DLCs, but where they fail, people like you can thrive! But, my guy, you really do need to explain yourself at 12:04, where you say how effective Precursor Oracles are "in the early game." Not that anybody would disagree that having basically an invincible Science Ship would be amazing in the early game, how in the hell would you even have them in the early game, unless you just use console commands to unlock all those techs at the beginning?
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video :D At 12:04 "The Precursor Oracle is something that we all thought about before, and something that would be very useful especially in the early game." I'm aware of that, this was meant to be hypothetical because as you said who wouldn't want an invincible science ship. That's why I said "would be useful" and not "is useful".
You should DEFINITELY also go through the addons for ACOT, those being Acquisition of Technology, Sins of the Fallen Empires / Secrets Beyond The Gates, and Secrets of the Shroud + SotS: Soul Birch specifically I absolutely love how ridiculous Secrets of the Shroud becomes, but it's a fairly difficult mod to start and I'm sure many people would know how to actually do the events related to it, keep in mind though that these are like, super end-game mods and throw the balance out the window (but that's what makes them so fun!)
I skipped SBTG because it's supposed to be reworked in the future, so making a video about rn would be pointless. AoT also wasn't included since a lot of ppl mistake base ACOT features with AoT's content. I'll probably make a video on ACOT's submods in the future!
Played a year ago, couldn't breach Phanons even with the sigma level and all the forces of my empire and a Hercules 😢 How is it even possible to defeat them on level 7 of techs? Still, a brilliant mod and GIGASTRUCTURES makes it only better (oh that awesome Birch Void Sphere, the moment when your PC is burning because of calculations and you LOVE IT❤)
Well defeating them with Alpha is a bit harder, but it is doable. You can definetely do this with the sigma tier, I used a sigma herculean to do exactly that, and I didn't need anything else
It should be noted that if you have the Acquisition of Technologies mod, the progression of ACOT changes so that you get Phanon tech by building a phanon dimensional mirror after getting a shitload of research points per month, so you don't necessarily have to beat the actual phanon fleet, just a few smaller versions. The entire blue phi tech tree is just removed as well. And after you get stellarite, if you have SBTG/ZOFE, you can fight the Outer Gates/Stellarborne crisis to get light matter tech which is the strongest tech in just about any mod save maybe the blokkats tech.
25:08 Love that FF14 reference right there. It's been years since I last played the game, but anyone who had queued into the Praetorium countless times won't ever forget these quotes.
Wow, never was able to really use ACOT before nor progress in it as the PDF was just too confusing Used this video and holy cow its so easy now, thank you 🙏
Little inaccuracy on the « Big Catch » Event : the Star Devastator you got out of it is a special one = The Kylo-Ren Class. It has Runic components and a Yamato Cannon but his weapons are Phi. (Dunno if this is still the same because I played with the version before the fractured worlds looked like that but oh well)
Yes it's the Kylo-Ren Class. Also did you have AOT installed? Normally Phanon ships are not supposed to use Phi weapons. The Phi tier is only used by the player, as it's a reinterpretation of Phanon tech with DM and DE
I don’t think so, can’t really check but I’m certain that I remembered it having weapons that are not runic or maybe it had Alpha Weapons, they nearly look the same so I could be mistaking both
@@michael_stellaris Except for the Yamato Cannon and Reactor it should be entirely Alpha components since it was nerfed a while ago. From what I remembered of lore (which could be very inaccurate and old so do not trust entirely, it might be misremembered or it might just be nonsense and even i don't remember where I got this info from) the full Phanon tech Star Dominator II was too expensive for the empire that bought it so they had to settle for Phanon reactor and Yamato Cannon and the hull only, and fitted it with their own tech and then sent it to fight over the A'merigo during the A'merigo incident.
Ok just launched the game, and you guys were right. The Kylo Ren class does have alpha weapons except for the yamato cannon and the reactor. I didn't describe phanon ships in great detail, my point was that you can get the ship type from the relic as well, but I'll add a disclaimer in the pinned comment that it has a different design.
If you use the recorce patch mod to see the recorces such as dark energy and stellarite, there's another resource called light energy. It's used by the "stellarborne" which I belive is a crisis of some sort. Is the light resource/stellarborne an incomplete feature or did you skip it?
The Stellarborne are not in base ACOT, they're from a submod called Secrets Beyond The Gates. I didn't include it in the video because the said mod will be reworked soon. Besides the video is already long on it's own, I would've lost my sanity trying to edit a 40+ minute video lmao
@@michael_stellaris Ah I see now, I think because I have the two (extra and defines) it added thr resource but not the stellarborne themselves. Do ever plan on covering secrets beyond the gates and/or that shroud one?
Perhaps if I update the ACOT video in the future, i'll also include SBTG in it. Idk about Secrets of the Shroud, maybe I could do a video on unofficial ACOT submods, but not right now.
I skipped SBTG because it's going to be completely reworked soon, therefore it made no sense to include it here if the information would become outdated in like a month or two The video was already long enough on it's own anyways, if I had to edit a 40+ minute video I would've lost my sanity lmao. If I ever do an update on the ACOT video, i'm probably gonna include SBTG with the base ACOT changelog.
Oh yeah, the world would be a really interesting place with such advanced technologies available to humans. I'm curious what we would do with them, would we create a better society or instead annihilate ourselves with dark matter weaponry? (probably the latter lol) Stellaris, and this mod in particular really makes you wonder
@@Kroq-gar Which is why it would be best for the cosmology of creation to be orderly that nothing as destructive and chaotic such as the Blokkats and Unbidden do not exist in real life. The phanon cooldown modifier scales up with each stage. The further you go through the vault, the longer it is. The first cooldown lasts a year if I remember correctly.
In regular ACOT there are no phanon buildings, so i'm assuming you're using AOT as well. Idk maybe you don't have enough pops on the planet , or you need more resources. If you got the tech, you should be able able to upgrade it.
Yeah, you can create enigmatic worlds with the Emissary if you have the tech for them! Even before Enigmatic Worlds were introduced, you could create Fractured/Ultrafractured worlds with the Emissary, and then turn them into a Voidsphere.
fallen empire ascensions in Stellaris: ZoFE: We just want to be powerful. Machine Age: Speedrun tech. This galaxy stinks. We are leaving. ACoT: There is always more!
I still think the author of this mod must be some kind of lazy panda who doesn't do anything but sleep and be lazy. We should terraform him immediately.
Kool Aid vats are from AOT like any Runic Tier buildings. You can get them by raiding the vault, like any Runic Tier technology. One of the stages (idk which one exactly) allows you to research a tech which later allows you to roll techs for phanon buildings (it has a caption which says "unlock runic economy" or something like that). So i guess you have to get lucky and research kool aid vats when they appear in the research tab. Take this with a grain of salt tho, I didn't delve that much into AOT, so I might be wrong. Besides you can probably check the prerequisites for this building in the code.
Whats the general strength of the runic stuff when compared to late game gigastructures? I sort of want to try a pure precursor ship gigastructure run rather than spam out system craft
I would argue that the runic tier is stronger, since it's the second most powerful acot tier (if you exclude sbtg), and some phanon ship designs are very powerful. However you should take this with a grain of salt, I haven't compared these two mods together so i'm only guessing.
Can you please go into more detail on setllarite? I never seem to be able to find this tech and yet my A.I components get this very early on and out class me pretty quick...
So Im not sure if this is just me or an update changed something but Twilight Soils doesn't let me stabilize and colonize a ultrafractured world. I have the tech but all it does is raise habitability by 20%
Ignore the tech description, this is simply outdated localization. The tech does not allow you to colonize Ultrafractured Worlds (that's why I don't mention that in the video). It allows you to stabilize an Ultrafractured World, which becomes a Fractured one, allowing you to colonise it. Just checked the changelog, and no changes had been made since April, so maybe it's a bug on your end.
The event should trigger once you have the delta reactor, so overall as you delve deeper into the Delta Tier, the event should appear. The event also triggers if you have a Fractured World within your borders, or a fallen empire neighbour. Alternatively, type in: event acot_alpha_matter_events.1 to trigger the event with console commands
So,I just got to Delta in my game and the reactor tech has the danger warning about the fallen empires getting mad, and I thought that that only happens on alpha tech. So before I do something stupid I just wanted to ask.
Thanks! Just curious, which techs did you never reach? Also some of the things like aux and sigma Herc components, enigmatic worlds, etc. are new so maybe that's why
Yeah ACOT isn't really compatible with ZOFE. Acquisition of Technology used to be a patch between them, but now compatibility between these two has been dropped. I think this might be the reason idk. Dlc's don't really restrict a lot of ACOT's content, aside from cloaking components, curator related features and the self assembly option for the Databank
They're compatible with each other, so there should be no issues. Although from my experience it's better to pick one of them. With ACOT, ESC NEXT becomes useless and only takes up space in the tech tree. It's a great mod, don't get me wrong, but ACOT component techs are stronger. After all ACOT adds 5 new tech tiers, while ESC NEXT expands upon different areas of vanilla Stellaris or adds new weapons that could potentially fit in with vanilla.
@@michael_stellaris Okay, I just saw in your series that you are using both mods (ACOT x Extra ship components NEXT and without mods that override the vanilla)
That's probably due to overflow. Basically with the herculean you can surpass the vanilla limit of hull points, which causes the ship to take damage and disappear. To prevent this don't get too crazy with hull regen components, and repeatables.
@@michael_stellaris Возможно вот только изменить я это не могу по ещё более идиотской причине, у меня в проектах кораблей нет Геркулеса хотя проект на него я изучил.
So that's why you can build one, iirc AoT gives you the tech for it in an event of some kind? I'm not sure about that. Anyways, this submod adds a bunch of new content to the Runic tier, so if you unlock stuff that I didn't mention, it's definetely from AoT (I checked specifically which techs can be unlocked through the Vault Raids so I'm more than certain that I haven't missed anything)
You still need a level 6+ leader to get the required techs. Before 3.8 you had to use three leaders for each research department, now you only need one, which makes it even easier. Simply assign a head of research that meets the requirements, and hope you can roll one of the techs.
Sorry it took me so long to reply, but here's the command. If its not what you're looking for you can visit C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1419304439 and look in the events folder (you have to open the files in your notepad) event acot_alpha_matter_events.1
If you want to construct Birch Void, you probably have Gigastructures. And Gigastructures have Kugelblitz Containment Silo, this is probably the most effective way due cost and outcome. Even in Fractured worlds there is no storage, welp.
I watch the full mods explain and just know i discover that my mod of acot are buged, because doesn't show any description of the things. Lol i play like 5-6 games blinded haha now i will try to fix it. You know who to do that ?
@@michael_stellaris LOL you are completely right, I just change the game to english and work perfectly. Jeeez I'm a donkey OMG. Thank you. By the way, can you made a video about combinations of mods? All are rapidly outdated by upgrades so it is very dificult to find mods that work and compatible with each other. You can make tons of videos about mods kkk i will loved!
Hey Michael, I think there was an "Omega" tier technologies also or not? What are the mechanics of that then? Please corret me if I'm wrong. Great vid btw
The Omega Tier exists, it's from a submod called Secrets Beyond The Gates, the one which also adds the Stellarborne. I never used it, but from what I heard you have to defeat the Stellarborne to unlock it. The reason why SBTG got excluded from the video is because it will be reworked in the future (that is if Chiru decides to start working on it) Oh and thanks, glad you enjoyed the video :D!
@@michael_stellaris sorry, but if another civilisatio have built a gigastructural shipyard in the syste where is locate a poin of interest that the curators have assigned to me, have i lost the point?
Depends on what kind of PC you have, obviously if you have a potato PC it's gonna lag. It also depends on how many mods you run in total, there are also other factors which might impact your performance, like pops, the amount of habitats (i think) , the amount of empires, galaxy size, etc. I haven't checked how many FPS I get with or without ACOT so I don't have a definite answer.
From what i've heard this happens when the cascade hits a system with a habitat, although ACOT has been updated recently so maybe they fixed it. I think it also depends on the size of the targeted empire, since the Cascade targets all hostile systems it has to replace a lot of planets and stars, so maybe that is the reason idk.
Technically ai can acquire them, if only it wasn't so dumb. Stellaris AI overall has difficulty in acquiring modded techs, in ACOT at the beginning you can configure how much help AI gets if I remember correctly
Each time you start a new game with ACOT, you can configure how much help the AI gets with acot related things. The menu always appears at the beginning, but you can always activate it with an edict. I think this might be the reason, but i'm not sure, you should check the mod menu and find out. Also if you're referring to FE's, they always have all technologies researched, that's how paradox designed them.
@@michael_stellaris Nah it's always some random vassal of mine. But the help does make sense since I already massively buff the AI empires in my game (They usually get the techs around the same time as me) thanks!
ay so im tryna play acot but with the gigastructures mod, they seem to work fine together (so far) but the UI overhaul dynamic is not working when combining the mods for some reason. @@michael_stellaris Hello, sorry for not really understanding but by mod loader do you mean the playlist in the stellaris opening menu? imma try placing the UI overhaul at the bottom, maybe it will work lol. Thank you for responding so quickly :)
This mod causes incompatible issues like crazy. So be mindful while using it. I kept crashing either mid loading or while loading up a new game, even with correct load order. Don't use ACOT Override as it crashes your game. Great mod tho, when it works.
They're compatible, in fact Gigas has some features designed to make them work together. For instance, the difficulty for modded crises is increased when using ACOT + GIGA
Totally just wanna play talk with 10-20 systems since you can build planets and the just play like a fallen empire but hasn’t fallen but is still ascending. The machine is Eternal
Yea I researched the society tech for void palace and I can see the upgrade if I click on the enigmatic palace, but the actual upgrade arrow/button is grayed out
Maybe you don't have enough pops on your colony? Also do you have any mods, which add new tiers of capital buildings (beside ACOT), maybe it's a conflict of some kind.
Is it production revolution? I looked it up, and there's a giant compatibility patch for many mods including acot, but it's outdated. One of the comments mentioned a similar bug, so this must be the reason. Production Revolution changes pop requirements into manpower, therefore modded buildings using said requirements will be broken.
I love the mod but..... My game crash everytime I look at a fleet battle. Edit: it appear that the precursor databank events require the precurs to be around in order to get. So if anyone play this mod without a precursor, well you are stuck in the delta tier untill you start a war with phanon.
I just posted a poll about the next mod showcase. So far, Ancient Empire is the winner so perhaps i'll cover it next About Lex, isn't it an outdated mod?
I can tell this Stellaris galaxy is something which the Tyranids from Warhammer 40k can never be able to beat with all their extra galactic biomass combined. It would a slaughter house for them that they can never adapt against. And so would the forces of Chaos fall before this power. It's no wonder why the Blokkats from Stellaris Gigastructures never stood a chance against the Stellarborne. Omega technology is pretty much on par with average Xeelee craft from Xeelee Sequence. At that point we have pretty much surpassed the War In Heaven C'Tan, Old Ones, Necrons, Eldar, and Krorks in attack potency and durability in space-time battles. We even surpassed the Forerunners from Halo Silentium and the Culture in attack power and durability. The Flood Gravemind wouldn't be foolish enough to underestimate the nations and peoples who would wield these powers. Ancient Cache of Technologies is such a amazing built-up of a mod from the ground up with a firm foundation. This is a mod I have only heard about and seen few videos about.

Genuinely speaking my friend, this video is an art in stellaris community. I knew about ACOT since overlord dropped, but I was always hesitant as it was a gargantuan mod. Thanks to you my friend it is much more simpler now. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words! Glad the video helped you with figuring out ACOT!
Although they're equally as important, only in Alpha the usage of Dark Energy increases
Well all modded resources won't be displayed without URP, I think ppl are aware of that.
@@michael_stellaris yeah, it's just that personally, I always struggle with dark energy production for quite a while.
ACOT is a very deep rabbit hole, and yet every step of the way is glorious.
I love how this mod gives some lore to the npc factions, that part of the curators asking for a scientist implies they are formed by members of civilizations that undertood dark matter
Fantastic video. You are definitely one of the best stellaris content creators!
Thanks, I really appreciate that ❤
I always head canon that Dark matter is the the stellaris game irl tapping into my computer to power the empire, considering how loud my fans get by the time I get the damn tech.
That's way too accurate lmao
Wow I am glad I found this video when I did. Currently in a game myself and had no idea how to use the celestial forgers. This beats going through the outdated PDF. Great work, as ACOT is a bit more complicating then the more understandable gigastructures IMO.
Glad you found the video helpful!
Nice job!
Thank you :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Ngl this is pretty hilarious lmao

Wow 3 minutes in, and there's already a comment :000
You're welcome, and hope you enjoy the video!
Huh I swear I left a reply here, UA-cam is acting weird again lol
I think i've seen it before on steam, I could include it in the "Mods For Something" series (god I really need to come up with a better name for it) in a video about origins or overpowered mods. Thanks for the suggestion!
Finally i can understand Acot progression and features
What a great video. It's sad that all the big youtubers have barely touched the biggest mods, basically non-official DLCs, but where they fail, people like you can thrive!
But, my guy, you really do need to explain yourself at 12:04, where you say how effective Precursor Oracles are "in the early game." Not that anybody would disagree that having basically an invincible Science Ship would be amazing in the early game, how in the hell would you even have them in the early game, unless you just use console commands to unlock all those techs at the beginning?
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video :D
At 12:04 "The Precursor Oracle is something that we all thought about before, and something that would be very useful especially in the early game." I'm aware of that, this was meant to be hypothetical because as you said who wouldn't want an invincible science ship. That's why I said "would be useful" and not "is useful".
guilli's planet modifiers please 😭😭😭
You should DEFINITELY also go through the addons for ACOT, those being Acquisition of Technology, Sins of the Fallen Empires / Secrets Beyond The Gates, and Secrets of the Shroud + SotS: Soul Birch
specifically I absolutely love how ridiculous Secrets of the Shroud becomes, but it's a fairly difficult mod to start and I'm sure many people would know how to actually do the events related to it,
keep in mind though that these are like, super end-game mods and throw the balance out the window (but that's what makes them so fun!)
I skipped SBTG because it's supposed to be reworked in the future, so making a video about rn would be pointless. AoT also wasn't included since a lot of ppl mistake base ACOT features with AoT's content. I'll probably make a video on ACOT's submods in the future!
@@michael_stellaris oh I didn't know SBTG is getting a rework, now I know what to be excited for!
With ACOT and Gigastructures you can really feel yourself as if you are the Aeternum
Gracias por tu esfuerzo en este video, gracias a ti pude avanzar en el Mod
Great work 👍👍
Thank you!
Yeah this videos covers base ACOT only, since people often confuse these two mods.

I don’t think so, can’t really check but I’m certain that I remembered it having weapons that are not runic or maybe it had Alpha Weapons, they nearly look the same so I could be mistaking both
I'll verify this later, although i'm pretty sure it shouldn't have Phi/Alpha weapons.

Truly wonderful.

Though in Sci Fi and much fictions authors and writers create alot of chaotic cosmology settings within their narrative causing those conditions situations. Which is why it is best for such a reality to not be real life. Human writers in the modern days create the conditions and set the parameters for those situations and it's pretty bad once you think about it from this perspective.

Great vid! Where are the Koolaid vats? How do you get that event triggered? Can machine empires get this?
Kool Aid vats are from AOT like any Runic Tier buildings. You can get them by raiding the vault, like any Runic Tier technology. One of the stages (idk which one exactly) allows you to research a tech which later allows you to roll techs for phanon buildings (it has a caption which says "unlock runic economy" or something like that). So i guess you have to get lucky and research kool aid vats when they appear in the research tab. Take this with a grain of salt tho, I didn't delve that much into AOT, so I might be wrong. Besides you can probably check the prerequisites for this building in the code.
I’m a little late comment but do you know how compatible this is with ancient empires by chance 🤔
I tried with ZOFE and it seems to work
They should be compatible, Ancient Empire doesn't really touch ACOT content I think
Hei, is there a way to build phanon ship for gdf/armada's fleet
I'm not sure, with how much naval cap you can have with acot, gdf is kind of useless, so I never tried that.
This mod is bonkers. Love it. Afraid it might break my other 100+ mods
It won't trust me

Whats the general strength of the runic stuff when compared to late game gigastructures? I sort of want to try a pure precursor ship gigastructure run rather than spam out system craft
I would argue that the runic tier is stronger, since it's the second most powerful acot tier (if you exclude sbtg), and some phanon ship designs are very powerful. However you should take this with a grain of salt, I haven't compared these two mods together so i'm only guessing.
Can you please go into more detail on setllarite? I never seem to be able to find this tech and yet my A.I components get this very early on and out class me pretty quick...

Yeah it can be a bit confusing at first lol
So Im not sure if this is just me or an update changed something but Twilight Soils doesn't let me stabilize and colonize a ultrafractured world. I have the tech but all it does is raise habitability by 20%
Ignore the tech description, this is simply outdated localization. The tech does not allow you to colonize Ultrafractured Worlds (that's why I don't mention that in the video). It allows you to stabilize an Ultrafractured World, which becomes a Fractured one, allowing you to colonise it. Just checked the changelog, and no changes had been made since April, so maybe it's a bug on your end.
What about the light energy? How can I get it?
Light Energy is from Secrets Beyond the Gates, which is an ACOT submod
Count the StarCraft references, everybody!
I can’t build the precursor ships after re imaging them I have them in the designer though. Do I need a special shipyard
Yeah, that's why the Databank tech contains a special starbase building
Can we get an up to date video on ACOT?
how do you get the mystery of the precursors thing to pop up
The event should trigger once you have the delta reactor, so overall as you delve deeper into the Delta Tier, the event should appear. The event also triggers if you have a Fractured World within your borders, or a fallen empire neighbour.
Alternatively, type in: event acot_alpha_matter_events.1
to trigger the event with console commands
So,I just got to Delta in my game and the reactor tech has the danger warning about the fallen empires getting mad, and I thought that that only happens on alpha tech. So before I do something stupid I just wanted to ask.
great work, I used to play with this mod but never reached these techs, I wonder if there was some sort of incompatibilities
Thanks! Just curious, which techs did you never reach? Also some of the things like aux and sigma Herc components, enigmatic worlds, etc. are new so maybe that's why
@@michael_stellaris not even the delta, I used to play it with ZOFE, maybe that was the problem
and I don't even have all the DLC's
Yeah ACOT isn't really compatible with ZOFE. Acquisition of Technology used to be a patch between them, but now compatibility between these two has been dropped. I think this might be the reason idk. Dlc's don't really restrict a lot of ACOT's content, aside from cloaking components, curator related features and the self assembly option for the Databank
Can I use this two mods together or separately. (ACOT x Extra ship components NEXT)
@@michael_stellaris Okay, I just saw in your series that you are using both mods (ACOT x Extra ship components NEXT and

УРАААА.
Жаль что у этого мода адекватный перевод на русский только на 3.3.
Кстати а что делать если Геркулес пропадает сразу после постройки?
That's probably due to overflow. Basically with the herculean you can surpass the vanilla limit of hull points, which causes the ship to take damage and disappear. To prevent this don't get too crazy with hull regen components, and repeatables.
@@michael_stellaris Возможно вот только изменить я это не могу по ещё более идиотской причине, у меня в проектах кораблей нет Геркулеса хотя проект на него я изучил.

What about the dimensional mirror gigastructure, I got the research to build my own and built it, is this new?
Do you have AoT, you're not supposed to build one in base ACOT
Yes, I have AoT
So that's why you can build one, iirc AoT gives you the tech for it in an event of some kind? I'm not sure about that. Anyways, this submod adds a bunch of new content to the Runic tier, so if you unlock stuff that I didn't mention, it's definetely from AoT (I checked specifically which techs can be unlocked through the Vault Raids so I'm more than certain that I haven't missed anything)
Also how long does the vault lockdown last, my game wont show the time and I would like an idea of when the next raid can take place.
Oh I don't remember the exact figures rn, I think the wait time increased with each stage? I'm gonna verify this later, when I get on my pc
I don't have the option to put individual scientists, only the option of a head scientist. What should I do?
You still need a level 6+ leader to get the required techs. Before 3.8 you had to use three leaders for each research department, now you only need one, which makes it even easier. Simply assign a head of research that meets the requirements, and hope you can roll one of the techs.

Does this lag your pc badly or no?
Depends on what kind of PC you have, obviously if you have a potato PC it's gonna lag. It also depends on how many mods you run in total, there are also other factors which might impact your performance, like pops, the amount of habitats (i think) , the amount of empires, galaxy size, etc.

Sad to say but my herculean crash the game when i use the empire killing weapon
From what i've heard this happens when the cascade hits a system with a habitat, although ACOT has been updated recently so maybe they fixed it. I think it also depends on the size of the targeted empire, since the Cascade targets all hostile systems it has to replace a lot of planets and stars, so maybe that is the reason idk.

Any idea if this compatible with gigaengineering?
They're compatible, in fact Gigas has some features designed to make them work together. For instance, the difficulty for modded crises is increased when using ACOT + GIGA
Oh that’s awesome this definitely a download for me THANK YOU
You're welcome :D
Totally just wanna play talk with 10-20 systems since you can build planets and the just play like a fallen empire but hasn’t fallen but is still ascending.
The machine is Eternal
Now that I’m thinking about it what other mods would you recommend? It seems like you’ll need more than 8 ascension perks for this mod.
Secret of Shroud...
2213 - 993K energy, 1k science, 1M alloys and food.... how the hell did you do that?
instant_build and max_resources
I'm having trouble upgrading my enigmatic palace to void palace, anybody know how?
Do you have the tech for it?
Yea I researched the society tech for void palace and I can see the upgrade if I click on the enigmatic palace, but the actual upgrade arrow/button is grayed out
Maybe you don't have enough pops on your colony? Also do you have any mods, which add new tiers of capital buildings (beside ACOT), maybe it's a conflict of some kind.
I do have the production mod that converts pops to manpower that's prolly it
Is it production revolution? I looked it up, and there's a giant compatibility patch for many mods including acot, but it's outdated.
One of the comments mentioned a similar bug, so this must be the reason. Production Revolution changes pop requirements into manpower, therefore modded buildings using said requirements will be broken.
I love the mod but.....
My game crash everytime I look at a fleet battle.
Edit: it appear that the precursor databank events require the precurs to be around in order to get. So if anyone play this mod without a precursor, well you are stuck in the delta tier untill you start a war with phanon.
When ancient Empire and lex Video?
I just posted a poll about the next mod showcase. So far, Ancient Empire is the winner so perhaps i'll cover it next
About Lex, isn't it an outdated mod?
Cool now do the add-ons
#AugmentedOwl
ah yes, the asian cache of technologies.
If only my game would crash at 2300
sooooo it is like the "eternium" mod but for the 3.7 version of stellaris ?
Eternium is a modpack, which contains ACOT
@@michael_stellaris I know that much i was just surprise by how much they upgrade it
