A table spoon is best fish scaler I have ever used. Put you thumb in the back top right of the spoon . And pointer and ring finger around the back of spoon. If your left handed use same fingers on left.

I can really tell that amos doesn't want to leave I can tell being in his home town brought back alot of old memories. Such beautiful land I for one would absolutely love a giant tour of the entire area amos deserves a good vacation like that. This was a great video
true. I didn't want to leave. never done such a short trip and probably wont again, this was just to go sign some paperwork I needed. I'll try to go for longer and show more of the places I used to go hike like volcanoes and lakes of the country. one of these days I'll have the resources and time to go make a longer video.
I believe it's important to touch back to your roots. Where it All began. Conflict and struggle in everyday life. Makes it really hard to see your future, or make plans for your future. It's nice to have a safe place to think. Thanks for the video Amos 🙏 🤜🌟🤛🎣🐟🐠
Amos... Very beautiful country thank you for sharing.. awesome church... I hope you have safe travels... God bless you and your family!!! Take care! ✌️🙏🇺🇸❤️
I'm grateful for you showing me this beautiful place and the beautiful people. El Salvador looks like a wonderful and welcoming place to visit. I hope I get an opportunity to visit.

So happy Amos to go on your trip with you to El Salvador . Am watching all your videos over and over especially you and Greg on Vancouver Island. Your scenery is amazing . Cheers from Australia.
Awesome brother! Thanks for showing us a bit of your equatorial homeland. Man I’d sure love to visit there one day. (I gotta say.. you remind me of an old friend I used to work with, he was an engineer and was also from El Salvador. Had such a similar demeanor as you, and always smiling, such a great guy. I’ll have to touch base..it’s been many years) Cheers!
Amose your badass I saw the picture of the machete on your thumb nail I found a machete at a yard sail just like that one same leather work and El Salvador the people thought it was just all show I sharpened it up and I love that tool never rusty incredibly made. Love your videos man just started binge watching a couple days ago. That food is beautiful man peace Amose.
@@amosrodriguezsurvival are you a full time youtuber now? Have been considering doing something on youtube myself! I like your primative building skills! I like doing that as well!!
Your quality of video is fine, content sublime!!! I learn so much and enjoy every single one. You feel very relatable with this raw quality content. Thank you so much. You inspire. -Love, April from B.C. Canada
What beautiful, lush country. Thank you for sharing this. I felt a little sad for you when you had to leave and hope you get to visit again soon. I'd definitely love to see more! ❤
We used to catch a lot of bass when I was young, limit every day, and the family except my father ate all of it, scaling was a job I hated. I would scale maybe 30 a week. Hated it! If we were really lucky we would get a trout or whitefish.
What a cool video! Was really great for you to share an adventure with us from your home country ❤ what a beautiful place. Much love Amos! Keep it up brother!
Ive been wanting to do that for a while. its just that Im always hustling so its hard to find the time to sit and write, but the book has been calling me lately so I'll make a point to start writing sooner than later even if it means sleepless nights...
I wish your video would of been longer with A LOT more footage n better editing. We need a cameraman with Amos, just saying😊 i love your channel so i'm not complaining just wishing for clean lens with more footage it can stay like this and I will still watch😊 Thank you for sharing your videos👍
There are a bunch of different species of snook in the pacific and Atlantic oceans. this black snook in El Salvador is a tasty one. it fights really hard too.
depends, but you can get a lifetime tool for 15-20 bucks down there. the sheath is a bit more but the harder part is getting on a plane to go get them :)
it was a last minute business trip for a coupe of days so I didnt have much time to spare and show you guys but yeah I dont recommend to go all the way from Indiana to ES to catch one fish and buy a machete :/ fish was tasty and machete is good tho

scaling a bunch of fish at once takes some skill and patience, specially to do a good job scaling so you dont eat scales later :)

Never seen a snook filleted like that. Odd. Do black snook have the razor gills like common ones?
they do
Amos- Any chance you would write a book about your journey from El Salvador to Alone ?

snoek in El Salvador?😮 i thought it was only found on South African coasts
There are a bunch of different species of snook in the pacific and Atlantic oceans. this black snook in El Salvador is a tasty one. it fights really hard too.
How many times have you gone to someone else's fishing spot and just out fished them?
Was the puffer fish ok. I saw him floating on the top of the water as he was going away
yes javier said it was ok it was puffed but it was going to unpuff himself and swim away

Man. Fowler needs to teach you guys how to shoot videos. The edit is weird. It's too short. And only one fish. You flew to El Salvador for one fish???
it was a last minute business trip for a coupe of days so I didnt have much time to spare and show you guys but yeah I dont recommend to go all the way from Indiana to ES to catch one fish and buy a machete :/ fish was tasty and machete is good tho
