Calling Axl a Diva is an understatement. Is temper Literally started at least one riot. And It was because of him (and the massive amount of drugs and alcohol they were all doing) the band broke up. He would show up hours late for practice. And an hour late for live shows. They were all messed up and erratic because of the drugs and alcohol but he took it to a whole other level. And he is one of those artist types (the mood swings, the pretension and the inflated ego).
1 riot? I think Axel caused a lot of riots. I remember watching the news in the early 90's of all the riots caused in several cities because of him. I know Axel was crazy but boy did he make it interesting. What a time it was! Lol. I love Guns N Roses. Went to their concert in '93 they performed with Metallica as well.
Hey there, fun personal fact, I’m in this video , along with thousands of others. Lol. The color portion was filmed at Giants Stadium 1988, me and my best friend were 50 feet from stage. I cannot believe this was over 30 hrs ago! This was fun to watch you two enjoy this classic GnR.
Really dig you guys channel. I appreciate how you described the manner that you listen to music with a basic and structured beat and the fact that it seems a bit messy and/or chaotic when they are going in on the song wildly. I like it all and enjoy Lexs enthusiasm when she is taken for a music ride. She makes me laugh. Stay blessed.
Haha I LOVE that girls reaction I can tell that she really really enjoyed that song. That's the thing about guns n roses they will literally get you attacked to their music
They did react to Sweet Child O' Mine on a livestream. It should be up on the channel soon, depending what order they upload. This song was during that same livestream where they did I believe four GnR songs.
The black & white footage was filmed at Donnington Monsters Of Rock 1988 ( UK) GnR were only the second band to play that afternoon. Crowd was crazy , we all got crushed, 2 young guys died.. My first show. A baptism of fire 🔥 I often wonder if the footage from the UK show was black and white out of respect?
Stevie Ray Vaughn will give you all the goose bumps from his guitar. One of the most profound artists taken too early. Not Metal but Blues, but every guitar player will give SRV his dues.

If you guys haven’t checked out November Rain yet, that one’s probably more Brad’s speed and it’s a beautiful song/video. Loved this reaction!
Okay I absolutely adore Lex rocking out during this. She's adorable. G&R is a great example of an amazing band whose glory was cut short by the issues of their front man. They were amazing, but they could have done so much more and never really had the chance.
Guns N Roses were some of the biggest rockstars ever. Almost every song is a powerhouse. My favorite is "You Could Be Mine", which had a strong tie-in with the Terminator 2 movie. Watch the official video!
You guys want guitar? There’s only one man… Stevie Ray Vaughan. I don’t know if you guys can handle Texas Flood so maybe start with The Sky is Crying. RIP SRV🎸
I suggest Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Healey "Look at little sister" ua-cam.com/video/2HmLFyvFxTc/v-deo.html. I saw GNR at Starwood Amphitheater in Nashville back in 1988. They were the opening act for Aerosmith. Being outdoors, you'd think the sound quality would suffer, but noooo! This was one loud ass concert and Axl Rose brought it big time. His energy really got the crowd going. Aerosmith then came out and had all sorts of problems with their sound system; Steven Tyler was cussin' and leaving the stage off and on, to the point that we (along with many people) left. We later heard that after about 30 more minutes, the show went on but that GNR was the real show stealer. I know they blew me away enough that leaving early wasn't even a bummer. I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to see Axl at his best.

This is one GNR's greatest song. It's also one that most people completely overlook its meaning. He would show up hours late for practice. And an hour late for live shows. They were all messed up and erratic because of the drugs and alcohol but he took it to a whole other level. And he is one of those artist types (the mood swings, the pretension and the inflated ego).
But a crazy voice lol
So, a super diva then?
Hey there, fun personal fact, I’m in this video , along with thousands of others. Lol. The color portion was filmed at Giants Stadium 1988, me and my best friend were 50 feet from stage. I cannot believe this was over 30 hrs ago! This was fun to watch you two enjoy this classic GnR.
November Rain solo at the end gives everyone chills the first time hearing Slash let loose.
That is one of my fav songs from them
Really dig you guys channel.
If you're sticking with GnR, "November Rain" should be required listening.
Make sure it’s the video version
@@rossromero9577 top 10 music videos ever made for sure
Haha I LOVE that girls reaction I can tell that she really really enjoyed that song. That's the thing about guns n roses they will literally get you attacked to their music
Sometimes you just gotta feel the music, and stop overthinking the lyrics… sometimes they just don’t matter. It’s the feels.
Lyrics are last for it music and melody
HUGE HUGE HUGE in 1987, glad I was there...I really miss the freedom of the 80's...hell hole 2021
“Sweet Child O’ Mine” will be your newest favorite if you liked this and welcome to the jungle. Best guitar riffs and song is about his daughter
You meen daughter of Don Everlyn🤣. It's writen bout Erin Everly, his wife at the time.
They did react to Sweet Child O' Mine on a livestream. It should be up on the channel soon, depending what order they upload. This song was during that same livestream where they did I believe four GnR songs.
Axl doesnt have a daughter.
Or One in a Million…lol
The black & white footage was filmed at Donnington Monsters Of Rock 1988 ( UK)
GnR were only the second band to play that afternoon.
Crowd was crazy , we all got crushed, 2 young guys died..
My first show.
A baptism of fire 🔥
I often wonder if the footage from the UK show was black and white out of respect?
Stevie Ray Vaughn will give you all the goose bumps from his guitar. One of the most profound artists taken too early. Not Metal but Blues, but every guitar player will give SRV his dues.
Lex's reaction to the solo is pretty much what i go through each time i listen to this song
Hell yeah! Was here for this one live for a change. The disappointment from Brad when he couldn't follow along at the end whilst lex went of her nut haha.
Graduated in 1988 this whole album Appetite for Destruction was everywhere all day all night….I think it’s sold so far over 30 million copies world wide..
Yep all the ones everyone has commented on are good. Don't think a video was ever made for this one, but one of my favorites off Appetite for Destruction was Mr. Brownstone.
Long live Izzy for the intertwining guitar subtleties. Slash is my favorite lead player but Izzy made that guitar sound so rich.
One of the Best Concerts I've ever seen!!! In their Prime 1991...It was lit and 3 hrs of Pure 🔥🎸🎼
Only 1 problem, Metallica opened up for GNR....people were leaving, because Metallica was over 2 hours of Ridiculous Fire 🔥 & a lot of fans came for them....Axle was Furious Cursing at the thousands leaving...And Yes Lex, he was a little Diva then!! You guys are my Favorite reaction channel!! Lex needs a Metallica concert to let loose her inner Rock Child! 🎼🎸😊
My 2 favorite concerts were Metallica with Avenged Sevenfold and GNR with no support from the cult. GNR played 28 songs
so far this is the absolute bestest reaction from Lex!!!! I rewound her last comments like 20 times!! Love you guys! Keep up the great work!
I freaking love to see when Lex gets excited 🤘🤘🔥🔥
I love when lex gets totally rocked out and psyched.
Wait till you do "sweet child o'mine" "civil war" great reaction, always love the reaction. BTW you got to take Lex to a major rock show, she gets so hype, I love it.
Lex's reaction was incredible!! She looked like she was going to explode when the outro solo was ripping. GnR is and was amazing!!
The guitarist “slash” is one of the best
Girl, let it out! This entire song is a masterpiece but the last two minutes are perfection. It’s my favorite song to listen to at the gym, the ending really does get you moving. If you guys haven’t checked out November Rain yet, that one’s probably more Brad’s speed and it’s a beautiful song/video. Loved this reaction!
The Best Solo Ever? Considered from many people on this planet? Pink Floyed: "Comfortably Numb ,Pulse Live
Followed by Stairway to Heaven
Okay I absolutely adore Lex rocking out during this. She's adorable.
G&R is a great example of an amazing band whose glory was cut short by the issues of their front man. They were amazing, but they could have done so much more and never really had the chance.
I'm impressed how quickly you picked up on Axles diva energy!
She never admits that Axl is her true infatuation.
" Best solo ever ? "
The way is still long young Metal padawan...🤘
LOL!
Right, but not everything with electrical guitars is metal. ;)
Guns N Roses were some of the biggest rockstars ever. Almost every song is a powerhouse. My favorite is "You Could Be Mine", which had a strong tie-in with the Terminator 2 movie. Watch the official video!
🤣 Lex lit up for the second half of the song!
Brad, glad you partially liked it man! Keep going, there are more hits! 🎸
Who cares what they’re talking about…the music/energy touches your soul.
I think you two will like these songs🤘
Guns N' Roses - Rocket Queen
- Mr. Brownstone
- Think About You
Nice. No one ever asks for "think about you." Banger!!
Appetite. Best rock album of all time.
November Rain. Talk about a great guitar solo. The solo in that gives me chills every time.
I had to get up and dance like a goofy madman during the solo. This song has so much electricity in it! Good lord!
Jeff Healey was a blind guitarist who had a unique way of playing the guitar laying it flat on his lap. One of the best guitarist there ever was and was totally underrated!! Watching him play is absolutely Incredible!!
That kicked ass for you didn't it. Time for "Rocket Queen"
OMG. Girl, I love your excitement! You keep saying, "I didn't think it was possible". Welcome to the past. People are waking up to the fact that music has been dumbed down on purpose. You have such a long, incredible journey ahead of you. You will soon be wishing it was still 1977. So do the people that lived through it.
[Chorus]
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
(Take me home) Oh, won't you please take me home?
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
(Take me home) Oh, won't you please take me home?
[Verse 1]
Just an urchin living under the street, I'm a
Hard case that's tough to beat
I'm your charity case, so buy me something to eat
I'll pay you at another time, take it to the end of the line
Rags to riches, or so they say, you gotta
Keep pushing for the fortune and fame
You know it's, it's all a gamble when it's just a game
You treat it like a capital crime, everybody's doing the time
You treat it like a capital crime, everybody's doing the time
[Chorus]
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home? Yeah-yeah
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Take me home
[Verse 2]
Strapped in the chair of the city's gas chamber
Why I'm here, I can't quite remember
The Surgeon General says it's hazardous to breathe
I'd have another cigarette
But I can't see, tell me who you're gonna believe
[Chorus]
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Take me home, yeah-yeah
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home, oh yeah
[Guitar Solo]
[Bridge]
So far-away
So far-away
So far-away
So far-away
Captain America's been torn apart, now
He's a court jester with a broken heart
He said, "Turn me around and take me back to the start"
I must be losing my mind, are you blind? I've seen it all a million times
[Chorus]
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Take me home, yeah-yeah
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Take me home, yeah-yeah
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home, home
[Outro]
I wanna go, I wanna know
Oh, won't you please take me home?
I wanna see, how good it can be
Oh, won't you please take me home?
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
(Take me home) Oh, won't you please take me home?
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home?
Take me down (oh yeah), spin me 'round
Oh, won't you please take me home?
I wanna see, how good it can be
Oh, won't you please take me home?
I wanna see, how good it can be
Oh, take me home?
Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home?
I wanna go, I wanna know
Oh, won't you please take me home?
Love that reaction to the solo! Great job as always Brad & Lex
"You're like on 10 right now."
LMFAO yup, G&R does that to us. She's definitely a rocker.
Lex, you bee-bopping is so cute! Love watching you two and enjoying the memories. Thank you so very much!
I LOVE how Lex expresses herself when she likes something.
Love love this song and the SOLO at the end is such a great way to end that song! Do more GnR! Knocking on Heavens Door!
You both make listening to throwback songs fun and interesting. I appreciate your openness and enjoyment of all these great songs
He is definitely a diva or at least he was.
He still is
Now he's just nuts
These were some of the craziest concerts I ever went to.
When are you people going to introduce Lex to Stevie Ray Vaughan " Texas flood live"
SRV in general.
What do you mean, "you people"?
Paradise city is great track but as a live song it is epic! It is an experience to not be missed.
Watching Lex light up like she did made this video. It's like watching our inner fanboy jump out of our skin and onto the screen
"Theres Axl Slash and then there Guns N Roses" yes 100% I agree
Love watching Lex vibe out to Slash's guitar chops. She would have been a great hang in the 70's - the greatest Rock era ever
Saying Axl is a diva is an understatement lol He would show up to concerts two to three hours later after the opening bands set ended.
Axl is a genius. He wrote the best songs ever. His creativity is out of this world. Cherry on top he had the talented Slash to add the perfect finish touch.
Um, actually Izzy Stradlin was a HUGE contribution to their lyrics.
@@edwardgomez5616no he wasn't this is why no one likes izzy because yall overrate him. The whole band wrote the majority of the songs but the 2 main writers were axl and izzy. Izzy just wrote 2 songs by himself yall needa stop downplaying the members and realize all of them are the reason why gnr is legendary.
It makes my day when Lexi gets excited about metal!
Lex's smile the last few minutes........Pure Awesomeness!!!
this band has three speeds super slow and melodic, a classic rock speed, then full send. you ain't the first, estranged, slow paced, mr brownstone. little faster, you could be mine , paradise city fast for them
Estranged is one of my favorites
Garden of Eden and Right Next door to Hell LOL
This is one GNR's greatest song. It's also one that most people completely overlook its meaning. This is a very dark song when you look at the lyrics, it's the execution of a man who is pleading and begging to some higher authority to go to heaven ... the last half of the song is the man dying in the gas chamber.
Just a urchin livin' under the street
Ya treat it like a capital crime
Everybody's doin' the time
Strapped in the chair of the city's gas chamber
Why I'm here I can't quite remember
Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won't you please take me home
I wanna go, I wanna know
Lexi is awesome, your reaction was amazing, pure enthusiasm. love it 🤪
you two are making me feel young again with your reactions. Yall are like back in the day and how it was listening to these songs when they first came out. awesome, keep up the good work
Goosebumps from a guitar solo.
Try Steve Via-For the Love of God!!!!
The G3 live version from 96 is the best version!
I was crushing on that diva watching MTV after school all through puberty. So good seeing younger generations appreciating the great tunes I grew up with.
Great reaction from Lex! I love how much she enjoyed the guitar solo.
Watching Lexi follow that guitar solo has been the best part of my day
GnR is amazing live, three and a half hours of awesomesauce. Check out: Mr Brownstone, Night Train, You Could Be Mine, Locomotive, Estranged
The White Stripes might be more in Brad's wheelhouse - Seven Nation army, Fell in Love With a Girl
Omg! Lex cracks me up! So awesome how much she gets into the music. Love your channel!
Love the way she gets it every time
Aloha, air guitar, I need more air guitar...go Lex...lol. love you guys.
