Man...I felt I was back in class LEARNING...and that is meant as a total compliment. Absolutely 💯 helpful, since I'm just starting out. Thank you for sharing these tips and for thinking through the eyes of a novice (like me).
Just wanted to thank you for all the time you have devoted to making these tutorial videos! You have helped me a lot in my journey becoming a maker. The way you explain everything really makes sense to me. I am 3 months into hobby and it has totally consumed me lol. I have to admit it I am jealous of you skills. By the way i love the profile of this knife.
Brag time.. I have the advantage of being able to feel everything you're talking about on your giveaway knife, and it's no BS. It's a comfy handle for sure!
this has helped me a lot actually. i find my knives are never quite proportioned right. maybe it’s just me but do you come up with your own templates or get them from somewhere? i think i have to try somthing that someone else has already put more thought into lol.
WITH ALEE THE TWO OF YOU REALLY GAVE A GREAT CLINIC ON SHAPING. THANKS FOR SHARING
Thanks for going super in depth ! EXTREMELY helpful for a newer knife maker like myself!

My nephew is here for a couple weeks. He's on the TV right now watching that video. 😁

Awesome! Great tips also.
Thanks!
Can't wait to see it finished. I do a lot of canoe camping. That blade looks like it would be a very valuable and versatile tool to carry in camp.

Excellent video Eric that's what I subscribed for to learn the little nuances of the finishing process
Thanks I needed that one. You addressed several issues I have been having.
Thanks for the video Erick. A lot of good tips there! I struggle sometimes with the ergonomics on some handles.Keep up the great work!!👍
Really scary knife…I’m loving the handle shape! Great video, thanks!🐋

Love the video what’s the finish on that blade looks super cool bro love that knife 👍🏻🇬🇧
Awsome
The knife in the video has a very interesting shape.. kind of a hatchet but shrinked down to a normal size! Did you darken it with ferric chloride?
Yup, it's been acid etched and stone washed.

I make my own templates. I have been a knife collector for a long time so I base the proportions off of what I like to carry.
@@theriversexperience9383 gotcha. thanks for the reply
Can you make a video like this with your krambit knife ?
I'll go ahead and say you're going to like the next Shop Talk Tuesday series.
That blade is ugly.
