- Earlier this year I was asked to play for The Faceless but unfortunately the logistics didn't work out due to other commitments. As I was initially committed to doing the gig, I had learned a lot of their music and had this XenoChrist cover along with a few others professionally shot to release after they made an announcement. Even though I'm not going to be playing with them I still want to share these videos and I absolutely want to thank Michael Keene and E.J. Shannon for originally giving me this offer. I wish them nothing but the best and I know they'll get some killer musicians to play with them!

Your tone and technique are superb, is there a book or video showing how you learned the slapping technique? it almost looks like the Wooten method but I'd love to hear how you developed it.
Thanks!! My technique is sort of a combination of a few different bass player's techniques so there isn't really one video or one source to check out but if you check out Evan Brewer, Victor Wooten, Dominique di Piazza, Matthew Garrison and Gary Willis you can see where I got a lot of the elements for this technique
Check out Nick Schendzielos from Job for a cowboy, Havok and Cephalic Carnage also. Very similar. Great technique. Im working on it myself.
