- The last of the three Obscura playthroughs I filmed before we left for the tour was The Seventh Aeon from their KILLER album Diluvium. This one was always a lot of fun to play because it was one of the tunes that had the most room for improvisation. Since many of the riffs are more centered around chords, it allowed me to change my lines up from night to night and explore all the possibilities of what I could do with this tune. It was also a fun challenge to balance the amazing lines Linus originally played on the tune with my own interpretations. Hope you dig it!

Great to see the fretless bass become a more prevalent voice in metal, my favorite Death record was always "individual thought patterns" because I love what Steve DiGeorgio brings to the music
Dude you are an awesome player. What makes me (smile) is that the tones used nowadays is from the late 70's/80's with bands like Brand X (phil collins singer/drums, morris pert on bass). It's the tone, more treble and i love the hell out of this in extreme metal.YOu have such a pallete to work with.....kudos!
