Had to watch this twice. 1.) to listen to the song and bask in its timeless glory 2.) to watch you play. What a fantastic cover man, great job in all aspects!!! subbed!
wow your right hand picking techniques are so smooth and crystal clear. i would watch it in slow mo to analyze your picking motions to apply to myself. great work dude
Its literally the most difficult part of the song and my man made it look like smoke on the water. I'd love to see him do a breakdown of that section. Especially the picking because he was definitely hybrid picking
On the bridge part starting at 4:19 I’ve always done the hammer on / pull off method like you’re doing, but in the record it sounds like Keene is alt picking.
4:19 As I sit and laugh manically how easy you play this part. Its where in fact it is "easier" than the way I've learned it, which is the "wrong" way, apparently. Instead of going to the 4th fret on the 4th string(D) after the 8th fret, I instead go to the 9th fret on the 5th string(A) to 6th fret while the other frets remain the same. I tried playing it alt picking this way and that was beyond my alt picking abilities at this speed. (the song is already beyond my playing capabilities but I like to try, nonetheless :p ) I tried a down sweep pick then alt pick and hammer-on the rest and that made it a little "easier" but still too hard to play clearly & consistently at whatever tempo this is (270?). Others have commented that they struggle with this riff as well, so I don't feel too bad with this part, that much xD
hey dude on behalf of talca metalheads im sorry for the stage and the crappy bar, anyways dude KILLER PERFORMANCE thank you very much for coming here! RESPECT!!!
How the hell do you and Keene get tremolo picking up that speed . Damn dude do a lesson . I can get 16ths up to about 210. After that I’m just winging it like trying to run on one of those Olympic treadmills at max speed
From 4.18 - are you just picking 2 notes (one pick one finger) in that legato? And hammering on all the other notes? If so how do you get the notes so clear on strings you haven't picked? Is it basically tapping? Ahhh help 🤣
Most heaviest Technical drop c song I've ever heard still to this day.
is this drop c?? been trying to figure out if it's c standard or drop
@@brettsommer whole album is drop c
Love when tech death bands play in D standard or drop C. Decapitated is another
This brings me great pleasure.
Look who is here!
That chicken picking at 4:20 was exquisite 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
So sick! Planetary Duality is perfect and this is absolutely sick.
Randomly clicked on this video only to realize I saw you playing with Interloper opening for Fallujah! Sick cover man!
Dude, the sound - the playing - the editing. This is marvelous.
These two songs are some of the best tech death pieces ever written.
Riffs so clean, they should make magic erasers with them.
Super interesting to see that you hybrid pick the solo-backing riff in part 2. Insane cover !

Good luck with the shows dude youre killer
Awesome playthrough my guy
Nicely done I gotta finish learning this song such a classic
Can't tell you how thankful for this vid, the tabs for this song are trash, great video to learn some of the parts from.
You rip dude
wow your right hand picking techniques are so smooth and crystal clear. i would watch it in slow mo to analyze your picking motions to apply to myself. great work dude
4:19 jesus that part was clean

classic keene writing, spooky solo over the most obnoxious riff😭
On the bridge part starting at 4:19 I’ve always done the hammer on / pull off method like you’re doing, but in the record it sounds like Keene is alt picking.
seeing you perform at mexicali was amazing!
That was awesome. I saw you guys the other night in Easton PA, thanks for a great show.

Absurd picking efficiency. You rock dude.
Great job dude :) I need to put up a drum jam of this .
Excellent job. And that is some nasty tone
Well done Sir!
Such precision, as if a machine lies under the flesh.
So good I have this on loop! 🤘
Still watching this with awe.
Amazing you kill it on the guitar🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The ghost picking at 4:20 🥺
Hybrid picking?
I was struggling to kinda sweep this until I saw your right hand 🤯
Anyone knows how can i get this kind of guitar tone? Low Gain but high attack :/
Use high gain amp
Turn gain down
Use boost/od pedal
Crank level
Gain 0
Tone 2 or 3 o’clock
hey dude on behalf of talca metalheads im sorry for the stage and the crappy bar, anyways dude KILLER PERFORMANCE thank you very much for coming here! RESPECT!!!
This should have far more views
When are those 2 new albums coming out? (For the faceless)
That was sick ive never really listened to the faceless, i might give them a chance. Also what are those orange things on your strap?
JewCena looks like strap locks
@@chugmioli Oh wow i didnt even notice the strap behind them until you said that, thanks man
You killed it man!
I knew you wouldn't dare to play the part of the Grandmaster. :D But good work anyway of course. :)
That part on the rythm guitar in the solo is an Alternate Picking?
Cool!
This song goes so hard

Simple answer the dude is a machine
holy fuck bro!!!! Perfection!! bravo sir, bravo
Mean cover ‼️🔥
Awesome!
Are these from official tabs? Seeing you play this, I'm hearing little moments differently for the first time after 1000 listens. Very interesting.
The man himself taught me :)
He is part of the band. Are you serious ?? Hahahahaha
@@ersadmaulana8746 I guess the official tabs part was a dumb question.
I definitely picked up parts that I could never hear before. Makes it all that much better.
SO-LAR WINDS FROM ANOTHER WORLD

Epic!
Молодец!👍😎

Fucking amazing!!!! Great job! What tabs did you use??
What tuning is that in?
Drop C!
very good but at the guitar solo why did you play the bass :/
Well shit. Great job.

Incredibly picking hand movements man, just like Muhammed from necrophagist
ggroso
You play it better than Michael Keen himself...
WTF are you doing, don't you know it is illegal to use your pinkie finger when playing The Faceless?
