You're most welcome Craig I'm so happy you find the video enjoyable they are a joy to make as well thanks so much for subscribing and liking the video much appreciated
Nice! Still have my ELP Tarkus that I bought when it came out. My copy of Brain Salad Surgery sadly didn’t survive the carnage of the college years. Enjoyed the selection!
The Friends of Mr. Cairo is a perfect album, that long version is like a long movie ( 12 min.) Love Jon & Vangelis and Anderson voice is my fav. 🥰 One of my top 10 album I also play 😇
Thank you so much for your encouraging words yeah one of my favorite songs just amazingly put together like you say like a movie but better ❤️ so happy you liked the video appreciate your encouraging words
I was introduced to Friends of Mr. Cairo when I heard I'll Find My Way Home on WXRT Chicago. I picked up the LP and realized I had stumbled onto an audio goldmine. I played just about every track, some several times, on my radio show on WBAA. Those were the days!
At a party one night with a big group of Polish Expats, talking about music and the guy I'm talking to brings up The Friends of Mr. Cairo. "If you put that on," he says, "it will seduce every Polish woman of a certain age." Next time I saw a copy, I picked it up, just to hear what the magic was.
Yeah T-Rex what a great record I was just telling somebody else that with so many great records that I don't play that much it's really hard to buy new records that I won't play very much maybe just need to concentrate more on some of these great old records I have and try to wear those Jokers out much better than the music coming out now. As always Dave much appreciate you watching liking the video and your encouraging comments 😊
In the mid 70s when I listen to Can I did not know a single person that like the band they were my favorite took years, but I got most of their albums now fast forward, 40+ years and I see other people like them to in addition when I share with young people they like it
Spun Jon and Vangelis yesterday, not everybody’s jam but the story behind these two is great… Overall like your top 10, some I have, some not but artists are right up there 👌🏼🎶✌🏼
Hi Ron. A great selection. Thank you for sharing. No Blue Oyster Cult anywhere, though? With their variety and diversity, I figured one would make it on.
Thank you Ron - great show !! You nailed it, so many wonderful albums here in your obsessed picks. I had forgot about 'The Royal Scam by Steely Dan, what a great album !! And please Ron, pick some more themes and keep your videos coming..
Ron - Loved your video, and you are turning me on to some records I may have missed. For me, I would have to add both Led Zeppelin (I) and Led Zeppelin II. As a 15 year old in 1970, I had never heard such intense music - rock, blues, Plant's crying voice, and the drum rhythms. Couldn't get them off of my turntable, and still listen to them today!
I agree I was able to trade a Holly's 45 for led Zeppelin whole lot of Love 45 in 1970 our local Ben Franklin store only carried a very small selection of records I wasn't able to purchase those led Zeppelin records but I wore out that 45.
Their currently releasing another two of their albums this marks the point where all of their records have now been reissued at some point but they don't make large quantities, so the records go out of print quite easily.
Nice video Ron! Your collection is awesome! You have some really good taste. I was tripping on how diverse your collection is. I'm the same way. I have New Wave, Blues, Rock, R&B, Band, and lots of Jazz. Love it man!
I played side one of the B52s all the time when I bought it. I didn’t care for School’s Out but thought Billion Dollars Babies and Killers were great. I played Violator a lot but of course on CD. Surprised to see Body Heat. I love that record. I played the Smiths a lot back in the 80’s. Again, I prefer First Winter and Second Winter.
Yes of course all those other records you mentioned I played those a lot as well, they're all great. I didn't know you were into the Depeche mode at all That's cool 😎 always appreciate you watching and commenting brother.
Great list Ron,about same age as you,my best are Yardbirds live in New York with Jimmy Page ,must have, blue Oster cult, Tyranny and Mutation, wishbone ash, Argus, the sweet, hard centres.alice cooper love it to death and Motorhead overkill.
Like the theme Ron, please do more by genre or female/male - whatever works. Court and Spark was definitely one of my obsessive albums as well, along with most Stones albums, especially Sticky Fingers which I played constantly through the Summer of '71 and is still a favourite.
Thanks so much for the encouraging words another vote for pick a theme and show more records keep them coming. Folks are showing records "you only have one of from a band" I had a look I already had 10 records at the letter c. so I think it will be a series. I don't want to show 50 records at a time. appreciate The vote of confidence much appreciated
Fantastic video as ever,i share a few of those selections, the Dire Straits one i played to death and still do,what a debut album, sounds as great today as it ever did
First time watching this video and I can agree that Tergikleen is freakin awesome! I won’t use anything else. I use it with my VPI 16.5 machine, but recently waiting for an ultrasonic cleaner to arrive in the next few days. I’m planning on using it with the VPI. May seem like overkill to some, but records can never be too clean. I bought it pretty cheap, so we’ll see. Anyways, used many cleaning solutions- both expensive and cheap, homemade and store bought, and hands down, Tergikleen is the winner!
Sounds like we have a similar experience over the years and I agree 100% with your findings Thanks so much for tuning in and sharing your story much appreciated.
Hi Ron! Another great video as always. You had a lot of really great albums there. I'm surprised that there were no Rush albums on your list. Looking forward to the next video.
Yeah at the time when I was buying rush records I had a young family and just really never got obsessed over the records like I did when I was younger. But moving pictures and power windows I listen to those records a lot when they came out thanks so much for watching Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you very much for subscribing and liking the video much appreciated
Yeah they have so many great songs quiche Lorraine another great one I just like their whole vibe it's so good thanks for your encouraging words thanks for subscribing and for liking the video much appreciated
Another great video, Ron! Man, I love that Elvis Costello -- Get Happy. It's my favorite Elvis Costello and I have all of his releases with The Attractions. My U.S. OG of Get Happy sounds cool. That song New Amsterdam got stuck in my head when I got the album when it first came out and to this day, sometimes that melody rolls around in my brain over and over, which I really don't mind because I love the song so much. Yeah, I love Tarkus, too, awesome ELP album. That Joni album Court & Spark is one of my faves, as well. I got the anniversary reissue of Nirvana -- Nevermind and wow, it reminds me of how good those songs were. Cobain was a top notch songwriter. Pink Floyd -- Animals, awesome, could listen on repeat. Oh and Roxy Music -- Avalon, like you I was obsessed. Still got my OG. Tattoo You, love it. I could never get enough of Steely Dan, all titles. Robin Trower -- Bridge of Sighs, wow, that was a big stoner album back in the day. I've still got my OG. My friend Danny in college was big into The Beatles like me, but we were also obsessed with early Peter Gabriel records, especially the fourth one, Security, which we used to listen to very loud. I remember one day Danny called me and said, "You have to come over and hear this new Peter Gabriel record I got." I said, "He put out another one already? We just got Security." He says, "Yeah, but this is the German version. He sings all the songs in German and the album packs more punch than the English version." So, that was a fun day and man, did we crank that up loud on his stereo! Those were the days. That Peter Gabriel Security is an example of one of my 'obsessed with' records, I guess because was I young, into music, and my friend and I thought it rocked hard. Shock the Monkey! Later, Ron.
Yeah I agree completely when we were younger it seemed like I listened to music a lot more back in those days more part of your life, more obsessed about records then than I am now. That's for sure. thanks for your very encouraging words and very informative comments. Sounds like we are obsessed about a lot of the same records back in the day. thanks much appreciated 🔥
You know I agree I listened to Tarkus a lot, over and over again. same with animals very important records in my younger days and I still love them today. a couple of my favorites for sure. thanks so much for sharing your experience. much appreciated and thanks for liking the video 👍
Cosmo's Factory was one of the first LPs my dad ever bought. I think the story is he heard "Ramble Tamble" on WNEW (a famous rock station in the NY metro back in the day) while listening to his transistor radio in bed one night and then knew he needed the album. It was also an album he got me into at a young age. I really owe him for my whole rekkid obsession.
Yeah I did the same thing when I was a kid I had the transistor radio when I went to bed. My dad ended up buying me this enormous battery that he taped to the radio. Thanks so much for a great story. I enjoyed hearing that. reminded me of my childhood. also for subscribing and liking the video much appreciated.
Cracking selection Ron so many of those would be on my list I played that B-52’s debut album to death! I recently retired my old copy and got that MOFI you showed and it’s really great! ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’ what an album that was in my top 10 most listened to. Glad to see INXS getting some love they’re one of my favourites i was thinking of doing a ranking video of their albums. Love ‘Animals’ that might be my favourite Floyd album. Also great to see you showing The Smiths - superb! Take care cheers
Golden earring one of the great rock bands ever I have many of their albums they're all great 👍 thanks so much for watching and leaving great feedback thank you.
I have a Ken album I’d love to share it’s one. I’ve never seen anywhere. The album cover has a train printed in Germany no words on the front or the back just a picture of a train.
My thanks to Melinda Murphy for recommending you. Royal Scam is by far my favorite Steely Dan Album and a Top 10 album of all time. Haitian Divorce is the perfect SD song! I am also finally primed to discover Porcupine Tree for the first time ever. Thx! One of my top bands of all time is Renaissance, particularly "Ashes are Burning" (and the live version of that song on the Carnegie album) and "Turn of the Cards," but I hear so little about them. Annie Haslam's voice just kills me and the arrangements flow so beautifully. Any familiarity?
Yeah I really enjoy Melinda she is a very long subscriber of mine going back many many years before she started her channel Royal scam is a real winner as our most of the steely Dan records Renaissance one of those groups I bought I think three of their records from a seller on eBay who was just as so in love with the band I probably need to reevaluate my opinion because there are so many people that really love that band thanks so much for coming over subscribing and liking the video much appreciated my friend Hope to see you in the future and thanks for taking time to make some great comments much appreciated.
Thank you very much my friend. Yes I understand you are always watching and I do notice you do take time to make comments which is very much appreciated. I always like hearing from you. thanks so much for the encouraging words 😊
Great selection Ron and thanks for sharing! I was obsessed with Queensryche - operation mindcrime and still am. It comfortably sits in my top 10 list. Curious though on your thoughts on best sounding bridge of sighs? I have a generic pressing but had troubles fing one in good shape (Probably because everyone played it so much, it's that good!) Take care my friend
Great set slick! I'm a Smiths fan from way back too. Try a UK Rhino with the "Vinyl Plus" hype. I have ogs and the Rhino reissues blew me away!! I think they were from 2009 or maybe 2012
Thank you very much sir thanks for the encouraging words. I had the original Canadian presses of the Smiths records and the rhinos were so much better thanks for subscribing and liking the video much appreciated.
Hi Ron Just wanted to let you know the latest Hawkwind album is, incredibly, one of their strongest for many decades and now resides in my top 5 of their studio albums. The Porcupine Tree album shown is, for me, their best. I remember seeing the band back in around November 1996 and they played in what looked like an old disused church. When we left the gig the mist was encircling the tombstones making for a very creepy atmosphere. You've never seen so many people walking 'exceptionally quickly' past these hallowed grounds whilst trying to keep their dignity
Hey Barrie yeah you know I remember hearing something about that latest hawkwind record was supposed to be really good would really love to be in a bigger city where I could see porcupine tree and some of these bands like that but watching them on UA-cam with the surround sound on the 65-in 4K on UA-cam it's pretty good and you know I'm getting old I don't like going out and crowds all that stuff anymore I like staying home listening to music talking to Barrie my friend ❤️
@@RocknRonni Well I'm of a certain vintage (born the day Buddy Holly died so not much of a swap) and gearing up to a 3-day music festival in Canterbury (Kent) on Friday. Sympathise with your comment re attending live music gigs but at least this festival is dedicated for us 'older' fans with the likes of Focus, Caravan, Ozric Tentacles, Lindisfarne etc. I feel that these bands are coming to an end of the road so want to celebrate their music in what are exceptionally beautiful surroundings. BTW Robin Trower's debut is out on vinyl next week.
Some of my favorites in there ron, the johnny winter is my go to at the mo. You need to do the Harvest records some great bands on that label, am suprised no fairport convention in your videos. Rave on ron like what you doin so much passion for vinyl its amazing.
Thanks bro I had a look at the harvest catalog I don't have too many of those bands but I do have triumpherat which is on a Japanese harvest label and you know Pink Floyd's on the harvest label there's a few other ones but I don't have a lot of those records? Thanks for so much for watching and the encouraging words I'm really not sure what to do about a video for the harvest label but I do appreciate the suggestions very much Johnny Winters one of those guys I don't listen to enough he is so good. And this brings me to another conundrum about buying new records I have so many fantastic great records that I'm not listening to why do I need to buy more that I'm not going to listen to. I just have to be more selective but it's hard appreciate you bro 😊
You showed a number or records I played an awful lot myself Ron.... Depeche Mode lol... I was wondering if you would show them after cracking on my video. LOL.... You know something Ronnie, I saw Hawkwind in 70 or 71 and I never heard from them again until I joined the VC and you guys started showing them. None of my friends were into them at all. Yeah Morphine is a new band for me that I discovered about 5 years ago. Love them. Joni Mitchell huh. I tossed a dime into her guitar case when she was busking down in Yorkville Village in 65. Uriah Heep ruined my hearing down at Massey Hall in 72 they were so loud.
G'day from down under Ron love all the LP's you have mention ,mine were Edgar winter's they only come out at night, Isley Brothers 3+3, Paul Simon's There goes Rymin' Simon, Uriah Heep Very eavy very umble, Guess Who live at the Paramount, Peter Frampton's Frampton comes Alive and so many more including your choices.
Yeah I like all your titles I could have added those as well but I had to stop at 10. lol so glad you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for letting me know some of your favorites much appreciated ❤️
Got a lot of nice records there Ron.I have many of them and most are classics indeed !Thanks for a great video and always enjoy your thoughts on them.Just for interest sake do you have an original copy of the double live Space Ritual album by Hawkwind ?I had a copy imported from England back in the 70's and unfortunately got stolen.Think it's been re released since ! Cheers from Australia,
Space ritual live what a fantastic record That's probably the most second played hawkwind record I have I had the original and now I have a Japanese original in mint shape love that record thanks so much for watching and leaving great comments very encouraging Cheers mate 👍
Show us your sound system. Your taste of music is so good I can only imagine as I said once before none of my friends liked my music when I was young now that I’m older in the 60s there’s all kinds of people my age that like it where were they then?
I just did a video last week called my current vinyl playback system the director's cut or I show my sound system Thanks for watching Hope you enjoy the video I have over 200 videos you might want to go back and watch. there's some real gems in there. Thanks for watching my friend Glad you enjoyed the video.
@@RocknRonni I just subscribed I’ll check it out I don’t have a record player I haven’t had one for 20 or 30 years but I continue buying albums. Are you familiar with the band called the flock, or another one called stray dog. 1973 I lived with a band I was 13 so I had an early start at good music beginning with Frank Zappa can etc..
CCR Cosmos factory great album. AC was my first concert in 1972. I have two OG of School Out. Good stuff. Taurkus , great representation of prog music. I knew Pink Floyd would be in your heavy rotation.
Yeah you got to have Pink Floyd in there. there's a few other bands I'd like to put in as well but at some point it gets past 10 records if you know what I mean lol thanks so much for watching so glad you enjoyed the video appreciate you liking the video very much
Uriah Heep Japan original press, bronze label. Black Sabbath Castle records UK press reissue custom label. The cure 2017 rhino reissue 2001 fiction records Electra entertainment group made in the Czech Republic
Some great albums there. Can't listen to Radar Love anymore but the rest of LP is great. If you don't have ''Switch'' by Golden Earring, you should look it up. Really like Friends of Mr. Cairo too. Didn't know about Cure accoustic. Just ordered it. Thanks. I have almost every album you showed. Some great music.
Thanks very much appreciate your encouraging words. Yes I do have switch, it's fantastic thanks for the recommendation. appreciate it. Thanks for subscribing and liking the video
My list, sort of : Pixies - Doolittle Neutral Milk Hotel - In the aeroplane over the sea Gang of Four - Entertainment! Sufjan Stevens - Illinois Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon Supertramp - Paris Dire Straits - Communiqué The Waterboys - This is the Sea Television - Marquee Moon Pink Floyd - Animals Dire Straits - Dire Straits The Smiths - The Queen is Dead XTC - Drums and wires Pavlov´s Dog - Pampered Menial Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert.
What you described the record s to me were-talking heads-little creatures and talking heads naked and precious ly brian ferry-bete noir &miles Davis tutu&squeeze -Babylon and on-Ron this time I notice the camera too zoomed I kept wondering what kind of shoes is he wearing and how it would be sitting next to you or at your feet sitting 🔊😢❤️
If you're ever in South Georgia let me know you can come over and we can listen to some music together that would be a lot of fun 😊 take care my friend
@@RocknRonni i wish it could’ve But IHave been paralyzed with no left arm eg use for 25 years since age36 in calonursing system that at first I walked in but mishandling caused subsequent embolism sir do beware in letting your guard down nevertheless ❤️,J
Have your musical tastes changed at all over the years? Some of the bands I used to love, I can't bring myself to listen to anymore. Of the records you showed, I probably listened to that T. Rex album the most, or the Creedence album. But Green River is my favorite Creedence album.
Yes Green River is great and I've noticed lately I'm not buying the hard and heavy stuff like I used to I'm buying more jazz records, blues, big band records. bands that play lighter more folksy music. I'm looking for great musicianship Great sounding records and interesting vocal styles because they just don't make music like this anymore anytime I put these records on though I still love them they're all great.
Personally I think love it to death is better than school's out but I never bought it when I was a kid. But when I finally did buy it yeah I played the heck out of it thanks for great feedback thanks so much for liking the video much appreciated 🔥
Heh, I have one that is close to one of yours. I played The B-52's Wild Planet CONSTANTLY! Man, I love that album 😁 Yep, Violator was the same for me! Played it a lot! In my lowly and wretched opinion by far their very best. Hmmm... I have almost all of Hawkwind's albums in lossless FLAC. Just giving the one a listen, I rather like it! The Back in Black 2-LP Red vinyl pressing you have is now going for over $100. Love Morphine! I have a few of their albums. Believe it or not, I actually have a 1st US pressing of Nevermind. I won't tell you what they are going for now... 😊 I actually played Nazareth's Hair of the Dog a lot at the time. I'm not one usually to listen to slower stuff, but I feel that Avalon is one of THE most beautiful albums I've ever heard. Ah, Bridge of Sighs... I have a 1st UK pressing (I actually have 1st UK pressings of his first four albums) probably one of *THE* greatest albums ever made. He is my very favourite guitarist of that post Jimi Hendrix style! His latest is actually quite good! Very bluesy. And of course, *Zappa ALWAYS!* 👍 I must have EVERY damn album by him. Okay, if you are interested, I'll put 10 albums that I can think of right now that I listened to a LOT when I got them: TALKING HEADS: Remain In Light (I still feel it is probably one of the greatest albums ever made - most definitely in my personal top 10 out of over 2500 albums that I have on vinyl) DAVID BYRNE / BRIAN ENO: My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts (same as above - phenomenal album!) B-52-s: Wild Planet RUSH: 2112 AEROSMITH: Rocks JAN HAMMER / NEAL SCHON: Untold Passion (Definitely in my personal top 20 all time albums) OZRIC TENTACLES: (any album, anytime) MC 900 ft JESUS: Hell With The Lid Off (Brilliant!) A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS: Either 1st or 2nd album MILES DAVIS: In A Silent Way ***BONUS --- FRANK ZAPPA: Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch Probably a HELL of a lot more! 😁
Yeah I think I actually had wild planet before I got the first record with planet Claire on it played them both a lot you named a lot of good records there I made sure that I named both the band and the artist because I noticed on the last video forgot to describe a few records some titles are so well known by me that I forget not everybody knows these records as well as I do. so I'm trying to do a much better job. I still forgot to put the list comment section but I'm trying to do a better job of describing the title and the artist thanks so much for your input on that ❤️
Ive watched many of these vids on this subject and you have the best picks. Two comments. Love It To Death is far better, as is Killer. Moontan is the most under rated lp in rock. I have the same version you do. In 1978 I drove from NE Vermont to the Bay Area and my tape player ate all my tapes except Moontan. From about New Mexico to Travis AFB all I had was Moontan. Love it.
Yeah love it to death that is I think the best album but I didn't have that when I was younger. Picked up a clean reissue about 40 years ago and then about 20 years ago. I got a first edition Japan press unbelievable sound on that and I did play it a lot at that point, and my kids know that record really well because I played it a lot at that point. They always want to hear the ballad of Dwight Fry. Thank you so much for your encouraging words thanks for watching and liking the video much appreciated
I am a fan of "School's out" i listened to it a lot when school was out! The only Genesis album i like is their s/t from '83. Yes I am also a fan of "Animals" great album! Yes! War by u2 is my most played album love Bono's vocals! "drowning man" is my favortie track on that album!
Thank you very much for your great comments looks like we have a lot of the same records in common and played the heck out of them back in the day. thanks for your encouraging word, subscribing and liking the video much appreciated
Yeah that was the album I talked about at the beginning The band called Can with their soundtracks album. yeah I just wanted a little background music nothing too much to confused the listener as to what I was saying. It's aggravating for me when some UA-cam content creators make videos where in the background the music is so dang loud you can't hardly understand what they're saying. Thank you so much for inquiring about the music that's why I identified the music at the beginning so folks could if they thought it sounded interesting they could go and listen to it for themselves. Appreciate the feedback just the kind of information I'm looking for. Much appreciated, it helps me to make better videos.
@@RocknRonni I think these days everyone is careful about it getting picked up by the YT algos. thought i do see "reaction videos" where they dont seem to have a problem with it. i am an older guy, closer to your age. never got into Can but do remember the name. i found these top 10 lists this evening (not only yours). i am from the west coast and a radio and club dj for many years. a few things are similar to what you listened to, but some very different, like cheap trick or heart, west coast sound. you sound a little Canadian to me. i enjoy seeing your list from the same time, but a different part of the country. it inspired me tonight to check out a few new albums. thanks for your list and for the background one. i should do one some day. :-)
@@dman030 thank you very much for your most informative comments appreciate you sharing with me Yes I lived in Winnipeg for 25 years My mother is still there she's 86 now Yes and I looked at the viewership age and I don't have anybody under 45 years old that watches the channel
@@jeffwade8843 I'm retired probably like yourself I don't really even care what day it is as long as I get the garbage out on the right day. kind of hard to get too much hawkwind that's what I'm thinking. thank you very much my friend thanks for watching so glad you enjoyed the video. I enjoyed your comments too 🔥
Hi Ron, another great selection. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a great album. That guitar riff on "A National Accrobat" as well as Rick Wakeman's contribution on "Who Are You" are just amazing. I listened to this record sooo many times when i was introduced to it. CCR, what a band, whatan era! Alice Cooper, i wish i had lived in the 70s only for a chance to attend one of his concert to see how the "character" he was playing on stage with his snake and stuffs was entertaining. I'm twice 18y though i still got "baby's brain in an old man's heart".
The only thing I don't like about the Alice Cooper LP is that it has the School's Out "slow down" ending. I wish they'd have left the fade out from the original 45...
I think that's about 26 but I'm not counting lol I always like to make the headline a top 10 list everybody does the top 10 thing. I don't know how to do 10 All my videos are always a lot more than that. thanks for watching Glad you enjoyed the video
Never see you talk about jazz records. Maybe you do, and I missed it. So, speaking of one I can't stop playing.... Kirsten Edkins - Shapes & Sound Hands down my favorite album of the year so far. Recorded at Kevin Gray's Cohearent studio...Hackensack West, as it's referred to. It sounds absolutely astonishing, and Kirsten is an incredible jazz artist. Copies of the second pressing are still available. The 1st pressing sold out immediately. Highly recommended...if you ever play jazz, that is.
I talk a lot about jazz records and I talk a lot about Kevin Gray and I've talked about the Kristen Atkins record. I just did a video last week about top jazz fusion records thanks so much for watching the video very much appreciate your enthusiasm for the Kevin Gray record so much appreciate you your recommendation.
Damn!! You've got Great taste in music!!!! I love all of these selections!! It's great to see Johnny and Robyn getting mad respect !!!!👍🎶🎤🎸
Thanks my friend seems like you have great taste in music as well thanks so much for watching and liking the video much appreciated 🔥

What an amazing selection of records..sure I'd love to see the rare stack🤘 I really love that T-Rex The Slider..
Yeah T-Rex what a great record I was just telling somebody else that with so many great records that I don't play that much it's really hard to buy new records that I won't play very much maybe just need to concentrate more on some of these great old records I have and try to wear those Jokers out much better than the music coming out now.
Well thanks so much for the encouraging words.
okay we got another vote for show us some more records Ron!
That's what I am talking about
Great collection, ron
Thank you sir I'm going to have a few more of these types of videos rolled up my sleeves coming up just keep showing records
Watching from the U.K…I think Morphine is such an underrated group…glad to see a couple of their albums are being reissued.
Thank you very much for your inspiring words always enjoy your commentary most appreciated.
Thanks so much for the encouraging words another vote for pick a theme and show more records
keep them coming. Folks are showing records "you only have one of from a band" I had a look I already had 10 records at the letter c.
so I think it will be a series. I don't want to show 50 records at a time.
appreciate The vote of confidence much appreciated
Fantastic video as ever,i share a few of those selections, the Dire Straits one i played to death and still do,what a debut album, sounds as great today as it ever did
Yeah that record especially is timeless as are some of the other titles mentioned here thanks so much for watching the video Glad you enjoyed it 👍
First time watching this video and I can agree that Tergikleen is freakin awesome!
Sounds like we have a similar experience over the years and I agree 100% with your findings Thanks so much for tuning in and sharing your story much appreciated.
great selection there . Sabbath, b52's , Hawkwind .....my frequency mate
Thanks mate Cheers!
thanks for subscribing and liking the video much appreciated
Quiche Loraine is a B-52's song that I got obsessed with about 10 years ago. Planet Claire from the first album is a good one, too. Good video.
I enjoyed that. Pink Floyd Animals and ELP Tarkus were downright life changing for me.
Was my first album too. 1970
Great stuff keep it up
Thank you sir for the encouraging words much appreciated.
sounds like we have a lot of records in common that means we like good stuff Cheers bro 👍
great to see you love moontan - golden earring, the guys from my homecountry the netherlands 🇳🇱
Nice bunch there! I don't always take the time to comment, but I do watch!
Thank you very much my friend.
Yes I understand you are always watching and I do notice you do take time to make comments which is very much appreciated.
I always like hearing from you.
thanks so much for the encouraging words 😊
@@RocknRonni Absolutely my brutha!
What is the problem with Speaker? Main woofer not responding?
Great selection Ron and thanks for sharing! I was obsessed with Queensryche - operation mindcrime and still am. It comfortably sits in my top 10 list. Curious though on your thoughts on best sounding bridge of sighs? I have a generic pressing but had troubles fing one in good shape (Probably because everyone played it so much, it's that good!) Take care my friend
I have the Friday music reissue of bridge of sighs sounds really good.
thanks for watching always appreciate you
Can - Soundtracks got me through the war
So glad to hear that. Can soundtracks must mean a lot to you sir. thanks for sharing also thanks for subscribing and liking the video much appreciated
Luv Black Sabbath B 52's CCR Alice cure elvis...❤ em all. Nice segment Ron. Keep rockN
Thank you so much!
The encouraging words are much appreciated. Love those records as you do very cool, Cheers bro
EXCELLENT !!!
@@Baz63 Yes it would be very difficult to stay home with a lineups like that.
I'd be sitting right next to you buddy
Yeah I thought you'd like that Depeche mode remark I thought that was funny 😂
G'day from down under Ron love all the LP's you have mention ,mine were Edgar winter's they only come out at night, Isley Brothers 3+3, Paul Simon's There goes Rymin' Simon, Uriah Heep Very eavy very umble, Guess Who live at the Paramount, Peter Frampton's Frampton comes Alive and so many more including your choices.
Yeah I like all your titles I could have added those as well but I had to stop at 10. lol so glad you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for letting me know some of your favorites much appreciated ❤️
What label is Get Happy on. You have some great choices.
F-beat records.
and thanks for the vote up confidence and the encouraging words much appreciated and thanks for liking the video.
In search of space - respect
CCR Cosmos factory great album. AC was my first concert in 1972. I have two OG of School Out. Good stuff. Taurkus , great representation of prog music. I knew Pink Floyd would be in your heavy rotation.
Yeah you got to have Pink Floyd in there.
there's a few other bands I'd like to put in as well but at some point it gets past 10 records if you know what I mean lol thanks so much for watching so glad you enjoyed the video appreciate you liking the video very much
Hi Ron, great video! What are the label/pressing for the Uriah Heep, The Cure and Black Sabbath? Tks!

Sabotage over Sabbath Bloody Sabbath! Love it to Death over Schools Out.... BUT, you nailed it with Hawkwind ;) great vid...thanks
Okay, if you are interested, I'll put 10 albums that I can think of right now that I listened to a LOT when I got them:
TALKING HEADS: Remain In Light (I still feel it is probably one of the greatest albums ever made - most definitely in my personal top 10 out of over 2500 albums that I have on vinyl)
DAVID BYRNE / BRIAN ENO: My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts (same as above - phenomenal album!)
B-52-s: Wild Planet
RUSH: 2112
AEROSMITH: Rocks
JAN HAMMER / NEAL SCHON: Untold Passion (Definitely in my personal top 20 all time albums)
OZRIC TENTACLES: (any album, anytime)
MC 900 ft JESUS: Hell With The Lid Off (Brilliant!)
A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS: Either 1st or 2nd album
MILES DAVIS: In A Silent Way
***BONUS --- FRANK ZAPPA: Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch
Probably a HELL of a lot more!
I’m surprised you don’t have one size fits all or’
CAN!
Curious what was playing in the background. Sounded interesting, but couldnt really hear it.

Hey I love the Alice Cooper reference bro thanks so much for all the encouraging words 👍
The only thing I don't like about the Alice Cooper LP is that it has the School's Out "slow down" ending. I wish they'd have left the fade out from the original 45...
Moontan :)
That was about 40 records
I think that's about 26 but I'm not counting lol
I always like to make the headline a top 10 list everybody does the top 10 thing.
I don't know how to do 10 All my videos are always a lot more than that.
thanks for watching Glad you enjoyed the video
Never see you talk about jazz records. Maybe you do, and I missed it.
So, speaking of one I can't stop playing....
Kirsten Edkins - Shapes & Sound
Hands down my favorite album of the year so far.
