Can confirm SGammo is a great resource. Thanks for sharing. Basically what I have found as well. The 75gr HPBT from aac that I shot was pretty hot and had inconsistent fliers, typically around 2-3 inches off the group. Bummer but it is budget ammo after all. The IMI is a proven performer, I just wish it was more temperature stable.
Midway sells factory second 77gr smks and powder is back on the shelves. The time is now to clone this round and save a ton of money. I do that for black hills mk262 ammo. As long as you sort the bullets by weight, you will still see insnae accuracy out of those factory seconds.
@@billybob6784 Approximately .20 for the projectile , .10 for the primer , .17 for powder = .47 per round but it’s gonna cost you a lot more unless you already have all the necessary crap you absolutely need to load um up .
I had the same problem with AAC. Shoots great, then other batches not so great. Also had several spent cases with holes blown in the sides of them, which is really weird and concerning. I love the IMI M193 as bulk ammo so I'll have to give the Raxor cores a shot. Thanks!
Wassup brother? I hope everything is good with ya. I wayched your video on the AAC 77 grain otm. I found a nice deal on aac 75 grain ammo. It performed exactly the way described. I appreciate your knowledge and look forward to learning more from you. Subscribed 🤟🏿 good luck brother
I just discovered your channel so I’ll be watching to see what else you post. I assume your groups were fired at 100 yards-correct? I appreciated your discussion of why you believed your accuracy wasn’t as good with an AR as with a heavy bolt gun; that’s something that most sort-of precision shooters never mention, and I agree it’s important. I’m also a fan of SG Ammo and the IMI 77, but I believe SG said they weren’t going to be able to get the IMI in the future, so that would be too bad if true.
Have you shot any of the Hornady frontier 75 grain? Would be curious to see your results on that. For a long time that round was the best budget round.
Have you checked out hornady/frontier 68gr 5.56? Its what i went with because my scope mfr listed it as the load they based their reticle on. Shot it next to aac 77gr smk, 77gr mhp and 75gr mhp with very little discernable dfiference in 100yd, 10 shot groups, all coming in at just over 1" to just under 1.5". Without a chrono its impossible to check consistency, but its given repeatable holds to 600m.
Yeah, black hills is on Crack with their pricing. Especially since they use hornady 77 grain bullets in the "77gr OTM" you have to buy the "mk262" to get the sierra bullets
Great info. I wish you did more videos . Would you try ADI 69GR SMK from Global Ordanance? Its 150 for two hundred rounds with good shipping prices. I'd like to see what your impressions/results of it are.
@RockyMountainGunClub Thank you. I'll be interested in seeing your results. Its an Australian manufacturer thats been producing ammo for over 100 yrs. I've heard good things about it, but interested in what results you get. Appreciate your videos!!
@ at 2750fps in an 18” barrel at 6000 ft I am hitting transonic at 825 yards, with your fps in you 16 you are hitting transonic at about 700 yards at 6000 ft elevation, depending on your elevation, I was out yesterday and my bullets were falling apart at 900 yards at about 6300ft elevation
This is my favorite channel on UA-cam 😘
Same you hoos do too much sword fighting over that way.

Been using SGammo for ten years. Never had a problem- always good value and free shipping over $200.
I hope your channel takes off man! Liking the content.
Thanks dude!
Love your channel and the effort you put in man. Keep doing what you're doing.

Perfect timing on the video just bought 1000 from sgammo yesterday!

I'm new to reloading. What's the cost per round when reloading these, roughly? Thx

Yeah i love their ball ammo too. Not as accurate in my gun as some other ball ammo but really fast and consistent.
SG Ammo has been my go-to company for buying ammunition!
Your vids also just keep consistently getting better and better

SGammo is solid.
One of my Top 5 channels 🔥🔥🔥 upload more brother
Thanks dude! I try.

Yeah 100 yards, that would suck big time if they stop carrying imi lol

I haven't, just looked it up and that is a good price..
Something to think about too is how placement of your bipod could affect POI shift induced by your rail
Yeah Mine is really far towards the muzzle so I have to be really consistent with the pressure I put down on it

I believe I've tried hornady frontier ammo before but I don't remember exactly what it was
Good shit
The only problem with the IMI stuff is the Steins, Bergs, and Blum’s.
Considering that performance comes with sealed primers and bullets, it’s a win.
A bit expensive, but not Black Hills $.

Im curious if you've ever used Prvi Partizan 69gr or 77 grain ammo from SGAmmo? I've been thinking about purchasing some of that from them.
I have not!
Hornaday makes 77s also…so the factory seconds could be there also.
Any reason why your box looks different than the standard ones on midway?
I think mine is technically military surplus ammo but from my understanding they are loaded exactly the same
SGAmmo is great
All the mags in my plate carrier are loaded with razorcore
Sgammo is legit
I love when they show shot groups but never tell us how far away they were
edit: sorry didn't mean to sound rude thanks for the free info though
My bad lol they were all at 100 yards
I got 200 extreme spread from their 75gr
Yeah that sucks
At 6000ft elevation you reach transonic speed at 700 yards with that round,Just fyi
900 in my experience
@ at 2750fps in an 18” barrel at 6000 ft I am hitting transonic at 825 yards, with your fps in you 16 you are hitting transonic at about 700 yards at 6000 ft elevation, depending on your elevation, I was out yesterday and my bullets were falling apart at 900 yards at about 6300ft elevation
None of my guns shoot IMI 77 well. But they all mostly shoot Magtech/CBC 77 great. Even AAC 77 does better in my guns across the board than IMI. 🤷🏻♂️
I think the AAC days may be coming to an end
Seems psa is scrounging for money
Says who?
@ their financial reports
Just load your own.
Sgammo🫡
Stop loading the bipod 🤷♂️
😒
