Great video!.. Just wondering , if thepedal assist sensor is required to be in use , or can you use the throttle only to get moving forward? thanks for posting/creating this video
To get moving, all you need is throttle. However, the Peddle Assist is a great feature to have unless you don't plan to peddle. I say that because it is not easy to coordinate the throttle with peddling. Much better to let the controller handle that.
I figured it out for you, so it should be fairly easy to set up. Don't put it off, or you may never get around to it.
I love having both. I start out with pedal assist. Then if I need a little more help up a hill, or if I need a break, I ease on a little throttle.
Some areas do not allow throttle, so be sure to check your local laws regarding e-bikes. On a PPV you won't go unnoticed. LOL.
