Oh Man! you are living my dream! I really love your channel. It's super interesting and I've learned a lot from watching what your vids. I am starting into the fishkeeping hobby soon! I am starting with freshwater shrimp in a 55 gal, so nothing like this but I would love to own a snowflake eel or ribbon eels one day when I get enough experience and confidence to do it.
I had a 32 gallon cube Iwaguni tank with cherry shrimp about 2 years ago and it was really easy to maintain. For eels, I would choose the snowflake over the ribbon Eel as the latter is very difficult to accept anything but live food. If you do decide to get one then you may need to buy some mollies and acclimate them to saltwater and then you have lots of offspring to feed him with.
You would have to be an eel and shark enthusiast to enjoy this tank as it is not about the aqua scape but more about eels having fun going in and out of the pipes and the sharks roaming around the bottom.
Hey, I love your channel! Extremely interesting even though I'm not an eel person but starting to like them watching your videos. I keep an overstock tank of marine puffers which produce lots of waste plus heavy feedings daily. I found your channel while researching the reef octo 8000ext. I'm looking for a large oversized skimmer. Can I ask how is it holding up, performance, and would you recommend it? Wish you went bigger/smaller? any issues? Sorry for the questions. Thanks!
Glad you like my content! The skimmer has been holding up well. Not sure if you already saw my review video but it was very easy to put together. The only downsides so far are the noise of the bubble pump and it's high power consumption. It also wasn't possible to find this skimmer used and it never goes on sale so if you want to save money you could buy a couple smaller used ones for pennnies on the dollar.
Yo I’m so excited you always find the craziest fish! Best of luck with him those babies get so big that Australian youtuber had one like 4-6 feet it’s insane!
Hi I’m new to morey eels can u please assist me as I’m concern with the way my honeycomb eel is acting. He/she keeps facing up right and twitches his head.
Hi, it's difficult to say what's wrong with him but maybe it is gas bubble disease. Here are 2 videos on how it was taken care of: 1. ua-cam.com/video/hAA56v8XkrQ/v-deo.htmlsi=3fu3mrsWxQPhW_4d 2. ua-cam.com/video/kokF6xEyPyc/v-deo.htmlsi=JeaZ5RsGK7U3ucsm
Your the man, would watch daily feeding videos of all tanks!
Lol thanks! Feedings are becoming more entertaining as the animals keep getting bigger.😊
Love the set up and all the eels
Thanks!

Very cool fish .BTW random but how thick is that acrylic on that tank ??
It's 1" top and bottom and 1.5" for all the side panels.
