    As mentioned in the video, before you add in the veggies - poke the beef and see if the chopstick will go through without much resistance. (It's hard to give an exact timing because everyones cut of beef will be different size.) If the meat still has alot of resistance... add in some more water to the broth and let it boil away for another 15-20 minutes. Then proceed to add-in the veggies and continue as show in the video. (Note: If the sauce reduces too quickly... lower the heat and simply add in a few more swigs of water... trust me, the taste will still be amazing!!)

    This stew was a hit at my home potluck last night. I did not have time to let the meat marinade but cooked it on low heat, let it simmered for 2hrs. The flavor was still amazing with a nice rich broth. Thanks for the recipe!!🎉

    Just wanted to mention that if you look at 4:33-4:45, there is a hole in the foil. Acidic items eat through foil. You can see that there is some foil on the tip of the bone that was sticking up and touching the foil. You need to make sure that nothing touches the foil or put a piece of parchment paper over the acidic food first, before covering with foil. Hope that helps someone! :)

Love having the inner pot stainless so I can use my immersion blender right in it without worrying about scratching. It makes potatoes great and fast! Still working on the vegetables, first time came out great, second time I did different ones and they were a little too mushy. Just need to adjust the time. I highly recommend this pot!!!

      Do you still add water to the marinade if you're cooking in a pressure cooker? I'm scared to try this method because it seems like you wouldn't get that nice reduced sauce ...

    • @miriamdan9338
      @miriamdan9338 5 років тому

      @@kirabrown2237 yes, you can add some. Make sure to blanch the meat, marinade it but don't cook it. Just add all in the pot with the marinade. There will be more liquid in the pot than you might think, from the reduced meat and cooked veggies.

    • @kirabrown2237
      @kirabrown2237 5 років тому

      Thank you for your reply. But that's exactly what I mean ... liquid will release from the meat and the veggies in the pressure cooker but it won't cook out or evaporate the way it would on the stove, thickening the liquid into a nice sauce. I just don't want to end up with a soup ...

    • @miriamdan9338

    First of all: lovely choice of music! I‘ll keep guessing: your Money job has got to do with words, but you‘ve always been a Muzak Man.
    As for the dish? Nicely broken down! I like these contemplative several steps with long waiting intervals!
    I bought 1 Korean pear to try it and really liked it. But for CO2 reasons I‘ll stick to local pears, they should do the trick.
    When you through in the Mu in the intro I thought it’s Marshmallows 😂😂😂! Again, I‘d use Lokal radish or kohlrabi, which I use for Kkakdugi.
