Was cooking yesterday and realized I was short one ingredient. Immediately heard “don’t worry about it!”, and kept cooking! Your words are powerful! Thanks for the amazing recipes!
When I started watching these videos, I was thinking why do we need Clare in the video. I totally get it now. Her evaluation is a must. She gives a great feedback. Just seeing her facial expression says so much about how the food turned out. What a great team.
I finally made this for Sunday dinner-I marinated the ribs overnight in the sauce, and it came out amazing. My husband keeps raving over this dish. Thank you so much!
I can't believe how much I enjoy your videos. But, for, 'maybe' unusual reasons. I love how quickly Aaron can breeze through 'alternate' ingredients, without making a big deal out of it. (I think I find too may cooks bend over just a wee bit too much... trying to appease those with food intolerances)....they're wasting their time. They are searching out websites that speak to their issues. Love your style...love your presentation, love Claire's spontaneous honesty on her assessments. There's just nothing to not like ! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this channel.
I just made this for my mom yesterday. We have never shared the same taste bud, so usually my cookings are simply "passable" to her. First time trying one of your recipes and she LOVED it. This is a real mother-daughter bonding moment right here. Over food. From Aaron & Claire o:
I tried this by mixing the recipe - short ribs + pear juice. Since I do not have korean pear juice in shops near me, i used another pear juice with aloe vera bits instead. BUT i forgot to adjust the sugar level and added 3 tbsp of sugar on top of the already-sweet mixture, so the ribs came out too sweet in the end 😭😭😭😭 no wonder Aaron didnt put sugar for the simplified recipe. For everyone that is trying with store bought pear juice, remember to adjust the sugar level!!! Will give it a go another time….
Fiancé and I made these today, we couldn't get a Korean pear but substituted some apple juice and an extra kiwi and it was so delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe 💛
Aaron your videos seriously save me 😭 I’m moving to university and I’ll be living by myself, so your recipes will be a massive help when I need to cook delicious food! 너무 너무 너무 고마워요 ❤️
because i saw this comment as i started watching my mind went automatically counting 😂 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 if i got that right hahaha plus 1 more from claire
Don't worry 'bout it! Even if it was said more than ten times a minute, no problem at all. Actually, it's like an affirmation that works fantastic. So, how does my comment look now? It looks amazing!
Challenge accepted... Aaron you said "Don't worry about it!" 4 times & Claire said it once. I do believe that's the first time I have heard her say "Don't worry about it!" Both dishes look so delicious.
Joanna from Los Angeles, and I just wanted to say I followed your recipe and made this galbi tonight and it was very good. my dad was very impressed. thank you for the video!
I desperately, desperately need "more green onion, more delicious" merch. Don't care what kind - shirt, hoodie, stickers, you name it. Let me show my Aaron & Claire love! 🥰
Wow~~ so looks yummy. I THINK ARON CAN OPEN KOREAN RESTAURANT IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES. That galbi looks easy to cook, but actually the sauce,,,Not easy to make a fantastic flavor. Soooo goooood👍
Ok Aaron, I have the beef cooking and I did the long version. My kitchen smells like heaven. But I dirtied up everything in the kitchen. I needed your efficient dish washer. Can’t wait to taste it.
I was looking for a good galbi recipe and BEHOLD Aaron and Claire heard my wishes and delivered once again. Thank you super cool chef lord, and super cool taste tester lord!
Hey aaron! I made this and it is indeed delicious!! I’ll be adding this to my special menu since beef is a bit expensive. But darnit, so delicious. Thank you so much. I also always have you ssundubu paste available all the time as well. You make it so easy to cook.
I wish there was a Korean restaurant in my city! Or maybe I could try to make this dish! (easier one). Interesting story: After I watched this video I remembered a dish that my Mum used to make when I was a little kid... a gourmet beef stew with bread sticks with mustard on them... I told her about my craving and she found the recipe! I'm going to try to make it this weekend. Apparently my Mum hasn't made it since the 1980s!
Galbijjim!! My favorite!! 😋😊 I just made that a couple of weeks ago but can't wait to try YOUR recipe! I'm like Claire. I like the 1st recipe because of the bones. I usually buy a lot of short ribs from a local supermarket when it goes on sale (just to make galbijjim) & keep them in the freezer. There's a restaurant in Myeongdong that serves this dish. It's located on the 5th floor next to McDonalds. The name of the restaurant is Gangnam Myeonoak.
I'm Australian & have been watching many Galbi Jjim recipes on YT. I will be making the traditional version, thanks to yr awesome step-by-step video. THANKYOU- now I just need a Korean friend to taste test😂❤
I love that this channel helps me so much! I live in Daegu and struggle to make Korean dishes with the ingredients here. But because of this I can see a picture of the ingredients to find at my local mart
i think ive been watching your channel now for like 2 days in a row.. so many great videos, and so much awesome food :) best taste tester ever - just saying :) simply awesome channel, im in
This looks delicious! I recently was diagnosed with celiac disease so I’d have to make it with gluten free soy sauce but I would love to try and make this!!
only recently have i been getting back into cooking my own meals instead of eating out and it's all because of you two!! thank you so much for all that you do, Aaron and Claire!! and thank you for saving me money haha 🙌💯🔥 love this video, and i'll probably make this next week lol
Love the way u demonstrate your cooking, clear instructions and always delicious. 😋 I tried the simple version. It was awesome and well loved by my family. Thanks you for your generous sharing. Love Claire and You. Great channel and great recipe 👍🏻👍🏻
Wow- instead of eating it with rice- why am I thinking of adding rice cakes in to it to eat them all together! Delicious recipe and dish! Thanks- love it! 👍🥰❤️
I’m going to try the beef chuck with the original apple pear and kiwi juice, all those sauces plus veg into a pressure cooker! Cut the cooking time and my beef will still be tender! Will share with you how it goes! Thanks for sharing your very interesting recipe 😋
Is it just me or what? But when Aaron says don't worry about it, all I can hear is Bob Ross and his there are no mistakes, just happy little accidents. Please keep doing this. You make me feel so much ease when it comes to attempting Korean cuisine. Thank you!
Stumbled onto your channel thru this video a couple days ago… I decided to give this recipe a try since it looks super delicious. I’m so glad I did!! It was amazing 🤤. I subbed right away and I’ve been binge watching your channel as I plan to make many more of your recipes so look for more comments from me real soon 😂. Thank you so much for sharing such great recipes ❤️
Could be excellent! I read the written recipe recommended at the description. My concern is - it's too much time, money and effort for 2-3 servings only. I don't know how to cook that much to know how to adjust the quantities of ingredients for more servings.
I love short ribs and I would make this in a heart beat but the price of beef here is so expensive I cant afford it so I will enjoy watching your video. Everything you make looks delicious.
I am going to make the first with the beef of the second. I have never seen bone in beef short ribs in my tiny town but I am down for this delicious looking recipe!
11:46 😂 Claire has a point and that was actually smart🤣, but dang I wanted to try this! My only problem really is the Korean Radish. This is the same problem I had with Daikon when it comes to some Japanese dish, but maybe I can just omit them, I mean look at the dish! It got loads of stuff. 😍
Thank you, I will be making this for my family and friends on Thanksgiving!!! I loved this video so much, it was so helpful with the review and the explanation, wow. I wish I spoke korean. I want to make it with both meats 🤩

Thank you, Kelly! 🤗

Mmm...MMM!...mmmmm....MMmm... 😂😂😂
They are a superb team. When Claire says, “I daresay … “ I know the truth is imminent!
This is my favorite cut. The little bones add so much flavor
You really know something!👍
You actually made me tempted to eat something that had mushrooms in it … you’re a genius! 😁
😎
Time to sit back, relax, and enjoy our family pizza night with Aaron and Claire. Best way to start the weekend!!
I finally made this for Sunday dinner-I marinated the ribs overnight in the sauce, and it came out amazing. My husband keeps raving over this dish. Thank you so much!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this channel.
Claire is the luckiest girl in the world to have Aaron's cooking! Cant wait to try this myself!
I just made this for my mom yesterday. We have never shared the same taste bud, so usually my cookings are simply "passable" to her. First time trying one of your recipes and she LOVED it. This is a real mother-daughter bonding moment right here. Over food. From Aaron & Claire o:
Hehe So happy for you guys! 🥰😁😁
Is it just me or did Claire wisely never mention if she liked Aaron's or her mom's version better?
I came here to see if that mystery was cleared up! We need to know!
Mom isn't cooking for you anymore, so if you want to continue receiving these meals think carefully about which one you choose....
My mouth is watering watching you cook those beautiful dishes.
Thanks!
Thank you for supporting our channel!!🙏

Hello, how much beef did you use? 250 gr?
Aaron’s recipe was 600gm - go to his website. I’m going to use around 1kg as I’m feeding my 3 ‘boys’ at home 😄
Another blessing? Thanks Aaron and Claire 🙏🏼🤤
I like how you add extra recipes into one video
Is it just me or what? But when Aaron says don't worry about it, all I can hear is Bob Ross and his there are no mistakes, just happy little accidents. Please keep doing this. You make me feel so much ease when it comes to attempting Korean cuisine. Thank you!
