Our soldiers and their horses have the patience of a Saint with all the tourists’ rudeness and disrespect.
Both horse and soldiers need respect. I can’t believe how many people are rude to both
I know it is disgusting.
Why do people deliberately make idiots of myself (I has another word other than idiots in mind, still, don't want to offend anyone sensibilities). The national pride displayed in the long, long tradition of the guards is impressive, especially in this day and age where people seem to be plugged in with a barrier of talk/sound in their ears 24/7.
They need night in dungeon 😅
What's it like to need?
They are so smart
The father and baby were so cute with the horse and I think the guard was positioning the horse so they could access it. Very cute.
The guard did yes if you notice he also did a quick nod to them as well
Me too
Gostaria de saber com qual frequência eles deixam os cavalos descansarem
Nice to hear someone call 'Thank you' to the guard. 👍
The guards are very accommodating but some people ate just 😒😒😒
Those horses look like they are so well looked after , and they all have a bond , it's just so great to watch ❤
The guard's respect for the horse is a mixture of love
Can't get enough of these guys and their wonderful horses 🐎🐎🐎❤❤
Guys AND gals!
People don't get it that the horse's reins are like the steering wheel of a car. The person on the horse is the only one that can grab them for control.
Tourists, keep your hands off the horses. They are on guard duty. They are not there for your photo-ops.
Exactly, you wouldn't dare pet a police German shepherd whilst it's on duty, you'd lose your fingers!
They need to be taken down, and fined for touching/annoying the Guards
That leaned-in nudge and nod to stop was good. It was the right thing for that man. Well done!
He was told NO but instead of being embarrassed he came back.
That' s why they need shouting at..so stupid it's all some understand
The police were aware of her the minute she stop by the first time.
What's up with her???
I agree
She dose look like something is wrong
Casing the area?
All these guard and their mounts deserves respect. It was so sweet of this guard bringing his mount over for the Dad's little girl to pet. Each and everyone of these guards deserves respect. They do their duty and that should be respected by everyone. That comes to see and stand beside them for pictures. This from your friends from across the pond. 🇺🇲 Thank you for your dedication and service to your country and your King.
That first dad and daughter shows exactly how to be with the King's Troop.
Even the trooper was happy to acknowledge them.👍
👍👍👍👏👏👏
Immense respect to the Guard on the right! Instead of yanking on the reigns when that idiot held them he leaned forward and pushed his hand away. And he’s cute too!
He knew it was a waste of time vocalising again . He dyd say no . So used the ohysucal
He truly is a very handsome young man.
I'm concerned for the lady with the headscarf who was loitering about and acting rather strangely nobody seemed to notice her or ask if she was OK
Me to
É uma pessoa despossuída de bens materiais. Aparenta estar esgotada. Só foi percebida sua presença porque foi filmada. Ninguém a notou quando estava parada à margem do portão. São os invisíveis. Não os vemos. Quando os vemos ou os ignoramos ou fugimos deles com medo.😢
She looked upset.
Not sure who she is
Funny...I thought the one guard kept a close eye on her constantly
Something beautiful about watching the king's Guards. It is truly amazing to watch.
That brown horse is the most beautiful sight l have ever seen, thank you! 😊
It’s also the most cantankerous too as remember would not stand still at an inspection and was going around in circles!!😃
Gorgeous horse to be sure
Do you mean ‘chestnut’ horse?
The Kings Troop Royal Artillery use Cleveland Bay horses. Have to be nimble & fast to pull the gun carriages. This is the Regiment that fire the Royal Gun Salute on special occasions e.g. Royal birthdays & the Coronation
@@patriciarowland2124No, they do not use Cleveland Bays. They use light Irish Draught horses. Cleveland Bays are too tall to be good artillery draft horses. (My husband was in the King’s Troop for ten years and broke in many an Irish youngster)
The horses little nods after she is told she's a good girl. 😘
Aww, man! From the thumbnail I thought he was gonna lop the guy’s arm off with his sword. That’s probably what it’s gonna take for these guys and their horses to get the respect they deserve.
Time honoured sword maker, Wilkinson produces those Sabers, unless I am mistaken.
Me too 😂
I don't think the guards are allowed to lop the tourists' arms off.
@@jaygee5693 Really?!
@@dmotta2811 Well, not completely off.
First time I have seen a guard touch a tourist holding the reins, and shaking his head . Brilliant gesture by this guard. Tourist did not have to know any English to understand that what he did was a big NO-NO.
Far more effective than the shout-outs that seem to leave most offenders bewildered as they do not understand any English.
That being said, I have to confess I do enjoy watching the reactions to “GET OFF THE REINS" echoing around the parade ground ☺️
I agree with you. I like the way this guard handled this tourist. I think that is all some of the people need to be corrected. Then there are those completely obnoxious idiots, or as you might say in the UK, eejits that need a good yelling at. 🇨🇦
@@nancybannerman1224 Yeah, Eejeets 😂😊 used ov'er here in Northern Ireland ☘️ 👀☺️
My fav word eejits lol
I’ve said it before, it beats watching the old box , far better entertainment. 🙏
ME TOO !!...🗣️
The troopers and their mounts do their duty with honour and pride in
It doesn’t matter what you are soldier or waitstaff everyone deserves respect
Well said
Some tourists don’t!
The guards are all decorated soldiers who are highly trained and experienced in combat. Only the best guard the king. The woman guard checking on the guards, you can tell the horses know her. And the man with the little girl is just so cute. But now she probably wants a horse for christmas lol.
RESPECT IS EARNED
RESPECT IS EARNED
I love that the guards have such a connection to the horses.🥰🥰
Why didn’t one of those not very attentive police officers check on the lady who looks to be in some difficulty?
Well she is a Big Girl now so, it's a reasonable assumption that if she needs some kind of help, she will have the common sense to ask. The Police officers are there heavily armed for a reason, and, they are not there to wet nurse people. Simple really when you think about it.
She was in another video hanging around as well , she was hanging around in the arches. She looks a bit suspect alright but then who am i to judge.
If anything, ask her to move along.
If you can’t see how closely they’re watching her - without appearing to - and that one of the spoke on his radio to someone about her - you’re less observant than the average tourist passing through there with no thought other than the picture they want
She will be being closely monitored on all the CCTV around the area
I agree with you. We cannot assume anything about her. Why is she being judged so harshly here. She is not offending anyone, not ranting or raving. Standing quietly, eyes downcast. She seems to be Indian. She is not glancing furtively around. Her culture is different to ours but yet comments about being a'big girl' and the Guard being a wet nurse. Is there any need for that. I also saw her in another clip at the arch in the couryard. Again, standing very quietly and totally unassuming. A bit of common sense is needed for some of the women commenting here. Say what you see, not what you imagine!
Britain has the best soldiers and horses I've ever seen. It takes discipline and training to be that professional, even if the tourists are rude.
The guard didn't yell, he was really nice about it. 😊
I say that people only think the horses and guards are only there for the tourists enjoyment! They look at them as an attraction! They don’t realize they are there for a purpose! God save the King!😊❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇬🇧
Do you think these tourists actually read the notice on the wall? Or do they think it doesn't apply to them.
I believe they act blind and pretend they don't see the huge warning right there in their faces! 🤯🤯🤯😕😕😕😕
OR they don't speak or read your language,,not everybody does that travels.
A bit of both I think
Definitely the latter.
@@joanlovelace7338they’re in a foreign country. They would have translate app. Google has one.
Love the first guy and his daughter! He asked for permission before touching the horse, or letting his daughter touch, and thanked the guard before walking away. Wish all tourists would be like that! What on earth is the woman with the scarf on her head doing? First standing motionless by the gate, then walking several feet and just stopping and standing again. They certainly do get their share of nut jobs visiting here!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who would approach the situation like that. I’d ask before getting within arms length, before touching the horse and thank him afterwards.
Not sure what she’s doing, but it is indeed strange behaviour.
Great parenting.
@@janshe3597 Indeed. It's very intriguing what she's doing.
Perhaps she’s the new Karen. 🙏
The copper red mare is every horse I ever drew as a child. Just beautiful
A Thoroughbred "redish" horse color is a Chestnut.
A Quarter horse "redish" color is a sorrel.
The horse. God's most magnificient creation.
I ❤ horses.
Very beautiful. ❤
These people act like they’re at Disney world or a petting zoo-it’s ridiculous!!
The guard on the brown mare is my favorite I have watched in these videos. Personable while still being professional.
I've seen this episode before. The mannequin came to life on the Twilight Zone and forgot she was a mannequin. She is lost and needs to go to the nineth floor of the department store.
That was deliberate, it's unfair that the guards can't YELL at idiots or disrespectful people anymore... sad..
Yes, .....why is it that the guards, are rendered impotent to protect and defend their mounts? Unfair, ... unjust! One more point that stupidity rules the world!
Yea. i noticed in the past Weeks that the "yells" went lesser and lesser. is there a reason? im not into politics or so on thats why i ask
Geez could someone have helped that poor woman before she falls down?!
Who told you they can't yell at ill-mannered people? There's ample video evidence on UA-cam showing that they can, and that they DO!
@@jackx4311some people like to make up their own rules!
Makes sense to stop shouting because people were just provoking the guards just to make them shout.
Have to say these uniforms are the most impressive and it's wonderful to see women in the same uniforms.
Unthinkable when I was a teenager that women would ever achieve this level of equality.
I don't know if you realise, but the Royal Horse Artillery troopers - men and women - are *all* gunners in various artillery units; and the Household Cavalry Regiments are armoured units, with *all* the troopers that you see at Horseguards Parade doing this ceremonial duty in addition to their normal roles.
the stupid women should be at home doing housework
The current and previous Commanding Officers of the King's Troop are women as are a majority of the Troop. The Life Guards and Blues and Royles are men as they are all armoured recconicence. The Household Cavalry are two Regiments. One is the ceremonial Regiment and the other which is armour
@@timcubison9832 I am still so in awe of them because when I younger( 1984 just joined Notts Police ) & I had to fight just to be allowed to wear trousers instead of skirts in winter. Can’t repeat the names I was called by the male officers. So to see women in uniform in these positions gives me immense satisfaction and pride.
Please may I copy and share your brilliant explanation .
Many thanks
Why are the horses manes very shory
nice seeing the guard position his horse for the young one to interact with.
That's not at all what happened. Everyone is so oblivious in the comments, it's somehow amazing...
I bet that is one tough guard and a great soldier….
I cannot understand why one of police officers could spare a minute to speak to the lone lady, she obviously wasn’t well.
@@Clara-ph7myshe was obviously waiting for someone
What can They do with her?and to her
They're there to guard the king , not to social work foreigners
There is something going on with this woman she seems distressed or not well. It would have been nice if one of the police officers just said hello or how are you to get an idea of the situation.
Seems as though she had on way too much clothing
❤ respect our guards for their great job people 👏 they are heroes
Loved how the guard was so kind to the little girl letting her pat the horse, and Dad thanking him.
It amazing that there's a sign that says the horses bite and they put their children right next to them
The horses all love the little ones
The horse guards always look So good. Absolutely splendid.
I’m more concerned for the loan woman just standing staring with the backpack or have I been watching too many movies about terrorism think police clocked her 😮
Perhaps she is an undercover police officer doing an awesome job.
@@starsrgood
You watch too many movies, my dude. 😂😂🤣
That lady loitering either was lost and needed help or she was contemplating doing something. A red flag for sure. Maybe the police know who she is.
@@starsrgoodan undercover person shouldn’t be attracting attention. Everyone is noticing her. Undercover is low profile.
Just because they don't speak to her doesn't mean that they aren't VERY aware of her. They kept their eyes on her the whole time. Sometimes people of a different culture (and she looked Indian to me) do not welcome attention from a police officer. Yes, it does look odd but these policemen did exactly the right thing, in my opinion.
Thank you for your service and be safe
What a nice polite way for the soldier to tell the tourist.
The tourist man touching the horse's bridle got what he deserved. A gentle tap to teach him the guard only has control of the horse . . . not the tourist. Proverbs says *CORRECT A FOOL AND HE WILL HATE YOU.*
what a nice reception from the horse to the guard ! they truly love them , that says it all !
That poor woman looked ill, she was so gaunt.
I agree , ill and afraid . I think she needed help but too afraid to ask .
@@kathellison8084 She was invisible to the hundreds of people around her, which is so sad. I’d have asked her if she was OK.
She needs help
Me too , she looked so lost and lonely . Sadly people don't want to get involved these days , a little kindness and compassion goes a long way and it's free !
There's that creepy woman by the gates. Why don't the guards check her out. She might be a dangerous individual, you never know these days.
She just looks incredibly tired.
Or maybe she's just anxious or in the middle of a panic attacks or suffering from depression? Sometimes people just need quiet time, composure, time for gathering thoughts etc. Not everyone is a terrorist.
Isn't it time they replaced the 'Horses may bite" sign with one that says "Don't touch the Fucking Reins !" ?
They have now.
😂😂😂😂
Good to see some people talk and thank the guards as for people provoking and disrespecting them remember they will defend your country so you can live the lives you want, will you?.much respect to guards ,horses, police, military
Very respectful NO from the guard to the tourist . Why didn’t anyone go up to that lady and see if she was ok, how easy is it to be done .
WOW did that guy give the guard a dirty look. He deserved to be told.
Much respect to the guards 👍🤗
This brunette woman could be a guard! she knows how to stay still and even without blinking her eyes 😀😀
Too many disrespectful tourists
The King's Guard needs to put additional barriers to protect the guard & the horse. I'm so sick of seeing the entitlement & disrespect
Well she was a bit strange Lady behind the gates, with headscarf on, standing next to the police Was she frozen, on on the spot So strange
I would say that lady with the pink dress on is fresh of the boats.
That man with his little girl were so respectful. The guard was so kind.
That lady who is just standing what is she ? She looks so sad or scare. When she goes inside and stands looking out she looks like she is in prison. I wish the Police would check on her. She looks ill, scared and very gaunt as if she has been mis treated in someway. She is wrapped up as if she is cold. No one else appears to be wearing coats it’s all a bit odd.
What if she is a suicide bomber and not by choice. I know l have a very active imagination but she needs help of some kind.
She wanted aid imo
I really wondered about her too. Kept waiting for someone to talk to her. Obviously the camera person wondered about her too.
The police should have checked her bag and at least spoken to her. She as acting very strangely and could have anything dangerous in her bag.
The woman seems affraid to approach the officers but wants to stay close. It looks like she wants their attention.
What was up with that one lady behind the gates by the police?!?! Weird 👀
there should be a sign that says "this is not a petting zoo, please respect the guard"... "or else...muahahahahhahahaa!!!"
I would say that lady needs some help.
i feel so bad for the guards. in this heat.
Me too, but why was that lady wearing a parka?
@@kizpaws My thoughts exactly says I suspiciously!
All these people/tourists, no matter which country they’re visiting from; of course must have a source of monies, so everyone, no matter where they’re from, just don’t understand, and respect these King’s Guard soldiers and their duties and responbilities. I say again, all people who visit England, UK, seeing these historical sites, and enjoy great foods; should learn to read, understand, and obey every sign they see, which in a lot cases, are warnings, such the sign on that column, next to where these Guards and their horses are stationed; be Respectful! And Not Touch these Horses! These places are available for tourists to have their photos taken. DO NOT NEED TO STAND CLOSE TO THESE HORSES OR TOUCH THEM!!😊
Why didn’t the police go to the woman who was only standing there, but her demeaner cried out for help?! No one reacted to her! Don’t know if the police later addressed her and found out what help she needed. Probably money so I hope she got what she needed! She didn’t really dare to ask for it! Hope she is ok!
Nothing out there says not to touch the horses, only to be beware of their actions. Not grabbing reins should probably be added to the sign, I would not be very nice if someone grabbed onto my horse's curb bit either.
@@caranorn: thank you! You are right! If these people continue to disrespect, in this case, the military, any warning signs to the people who visit, must be completely spelled out. Otherwise, one of these people may one day, file a lawsuit toward the British military and Government.
Fascinating that at this location the police are more heavily armoured than the military on parade.
With it being a public location it's guarded by the police.
This horse is beautiful! I kept one of my horse’s mane roached, though I did leave the forelock. It looks great on him.
@calgal, you call it roaches ? In Britain we say hogged.
I kept my horses roaches too. We did some work and I thought it seemed better that way.
Roached
I think that woman has been standing there all day.
Is that women dazed and confused or in a religious stupor
Have you considered that she might have mental issues?
Imagine touching a soldier on guard at any other barracks in Britain. Yeah, a rifle butt hurts.
That lady by the gate may be just waiting for someone.
I find that these guards seem a little more relaxed than the King's Life Guards or Blue and Royals. It could be that they dont have to deal with tourists day in and day out for most of the year. I'm not saying that they are undisciplined or unprofessional, they are very good at their job.
I also noticed that there hasn't been big crowds of people all trying to pat the horse at the same time. People seem to stand back more with these different horses. Does anyone else notice that?
Great job all the guards, and thank you for your service. 🇨🇦
I did notice that these guardsmen handle situations much differently.
Nicer than shouting that scares the poop out of tourist. 😂
Wat staat de dame met de hoofddoek zo triest.😢.

See screaming is not necessary. Thank you guard for using human communication with touch.
THE HORSES OF THE ROYAL GUARD ARE NOT PETS ! STOP PETTING THEM !!! 😡
What the heck is that woman in the brown coat doing?
No more yelling at idiot tourists who think soldiers on horses are for their personal photos and petting .
I delight in seeing the CLOWNS getting a short charge by the horses .The tourists get more of a fright than a shout
That is exactly what the horses and guards are there for, they are a tourists attraction.
The flowered shorts on one of the tourists are hilarious.
He’s seems to like a good cuddle😂
His face totally lit up when he saw her, no disguising THAT look trouper. 🥰
I’m wondering if the woman in the yellow head scarf got left there.
Looks to me a bit like she's not long got off the cross-channel inflatable.
It's so cold and windy in this strange place, wherever it is, she wishes she were back home.
The streets are not paved with gold, and those two officers were watching her behaviour.
@@philyew3617 Were they?.....not that I noticed. She was a potential threat and was ignored.
He was very polite

That dark Indian woman who seems to be just standing around; see how she has her hand out continuously? I think she's begging according to her homeland's customs, but doesn't understand how to do it in London.
What makes you think that she is Indian? Britain is a multiracial society and she could just be a Londoner with mental health issues! Obviously you don't know much about India and just have racial stereotypes to go by. She did not seem to be begging for anything either in the manner of her "homeland " or London "customs!"
What was up with the woman in the head scarf? Seemed very suspicious.
Even though the lady looks abit "lost" she's easedropping on the police conversation.
What was wrong with that lady, she would almost go into a trance
So glad we're not reliant on those two cops , because they are not paying attention at all
SHE PRETENDS TO PLAY A SUICDE BOMBER?????THE ARMED GUARDS ACTING SO COOL WITH RESPECT......
A lot of people don't know what respect really means it must be ssssooooooo frustrating and annoying because the guards have to sit through all the s... and not to forget about the horse's must get extremely sick of being harassed by the tourists There disrespectful, very inconsiderate bad mannered it is very annoying because the horse's can't move away from them i don't know how they do it but they do it extremely fantastic achievement. That little girl laughing it off, standing under the sign that says, beware, horses may kick or bite. 😂
How good was that of the Guard to move the horse so the little girl could stroke it.
Lovely Guard, Beautiful horse ❤🇬🇧❤
Thank you for the video ❤
My opinion on this is that lone woman was waiting to be remotely detonated by someone else and it didn’t go off, there’s no other explanation for this behaviour,we have just witnessed a failed terrorist attack!
Que bom ver o soldado sorrindo e o cavalo recebendo carinho ❤😊
Not Guards - RHA Gunners.
Why don't put up a sign saying not to touch the reins
